Okay, this from an RPG book amused me..

The Stallone film kind of caught the zany wackiness approach and aesthetics of the Dredd comics, so I have to recognise it for that. Even if so much else was wrong. The Urban version nailed the serious side of it, and was an all-around better done version. Unfortunately, it lost too much money and is unlikely to be followed up on - at least in the cinema and tv world. I had heard they were going to do a "sequel" style story, but as a short comic run. No idea how far that went ahead.

The Eichmann Show. BBC dramatization of the Eichmann trial - When Adolf Eichmann was captured and taken to Israel to be held accountable for planning the final solution - as shown from the perspective of the producer and director of the television documentary following it. Martin Freeman and Anthony Lepaglia playing those parts respectively, along with a strong supporting cast. It follows the initial struggles as they try to get permission from Israel and the judges of the trial to have cameras there, and the issues with the networks. The daily footage of the trial is generally considered to be the first global television documentary. Starts slowly, but when the trial begins they blend in actual footage from the events, especially with the witness accounts, and those pile on the feels. Kind of highlights how so many people, even large swathes of the jewish population in Israel, didn't really believe the holocaust happened and how the trials global nature and show on television changed that perspective.

Heh. The classic from my point of view is my old secondary school. Classic English All-Boys School, and one of the French teachers was married to one of the Spanish teachers, and that Spanish teacher was incredibly hot. The stupid was that her husband kept some risqué and topless pictures of her in his briefcase, and it became something of a known thing. Seriously, things not to do in that sort of environment. If you're going to have naughty pictures of the wife, you don't bring them to an all boys school. Especially when she's the hot teacher at that school.

The thing about Tuchanka was it really did vary depending on previous choices. If Wrex had been killed earlier, the Krogan leader is a major league ****. So if that's the situation you find yourself in (along with a couple of other minor choices you might have made before), then it becomes a much different question. If however, you had managed to create a universe with Wrex and Grunt being loyal, and managed to go through certain areas, you had a lot more trust in Krogan leadership that was much more adaptable and willing to co-exist.
