  4. Technically, that peace sign is the wrong way around.. and in English was the "up yours" sign we'd make to the French. For the historical note, that actually came about after Agincourt and was the English archers doing the "see, we still have our bow fingers and will shoot the ***** out of you Frenchies!"
  5. But wait, didn't Trumps recent speech address the point that a wave of great optimism was sweeping the nation?

  10. I have to admit, that introductory Crisis Point was annoying as heck. Especially with the tutorials running. The screen jerking from one area to another, boxes popping up then jerking to another area and the whole pacing was messy. Plus it ruins the mood of introducing the scary Sorrow.
  11. It doesn't show "Beta" anywhere, just straight up "Torment" - my old saves from the Beta showed up as "no longer supported/previous version". Eh, but I've only wandered in for about an hours game, so it's not like I've gotten that far into it to tell if it has more than the beta did... Hm, and didn't the beta version on your Steam Library show up as "Torment - Beta Version" in the games list? I'm trying to remember now...
  12. Well, I did have the test version unlocked on Steam.. and now it has apparently turned into the full game when I did the pre-install today. And it runs. So I've started playing it to see how it shapes up...
  13. There is a reason I've kept my Cary Grant collection of DVD's all these years. Some of it might be silly, but they nearly all get carried off with smart dialogue and sheer elan.
