Why aren't there...questions about specific RPG classes
Orogun01 replied to Orogun01's topic in Way Off-Topic
Organizing information in small packets makes it easier to disseminate and communicate. Saying you're a priest is way easier than explaining that you have devoted your life to the service of a god. The only instances where one would try to hide their occupation and engage in long winded descriptions would be when they are trying to hide it because of its negative connotations. EG: Catholic Priest On a different note, why don't bards travel as band? It is certainly more inspiring to hear a full band rather than one guy with a cowbell yelling "Go team" -
Huh? I already got it from GOG and downloaded it.

I started replaying Tyranny earlier this week and I decided to unleash the edict of Storms. I swear to God that reality is stranger than fiction.

Why aren't there...questions about specific RPG classes
Orogun01 replied to Orogun01's topic in Way Off-Topic
My job title doesn't describe what I do but I can't do away with it, I guess it helps others know what my function and qualifications are. I can just image the hassle of trying to interview an adventurer who doesn't want to tell you their class. -
Why aren't there...questions about specific RPG classes

Maybe it has something to do with RL priest and flagellation, something along the lines of the power of faith and conviction increasing damage resistance. Like their God protecting them, granting them DR. -
ITT we ask questions about RPG classes or multiclasses that challenge our established perception of said classes. Preferred format would be the question, followed by supporting arguments and finalized by conclusion To start with: Why aren't there more bodybuilding healers? It seems that a class that specializes in recovery could use spells to shorten the rest time, heal damaged tissue and ameliorate any of the dangers of lifting heavy. Alternatively alchemy could also be used to mirror real life substances that bodybuilders use and even others that surpass what exists. With that in mind, I wonder why haven't more fantasy healers/alchemist taken up bodybuilding and strength training to better enhance their fighting skills?

What do you think about the "romance" in RPG?
Orogun01 replied to btsam's topic in Computer and Console
By your logic a book is poorly written because of its linearity. I'd say that romance works best in JRPGs because of lack of agency on the story. What you describe is a BW game. -

And then they go all the way. -
Welp, Irma is coming so just in case: It was nice knowing all of you, I had a good life. Could have been better but it also could have been worse. Remember me fondly. Also, if you don't hear from me in a while just assume dead and put me on a signature or something. Love ya guys.

I think liberalism world wide is quite different than classical liberalism. Classical liberalism seems to have been replaced by global neo-liberalism, what gets called liberalism now is mostly just social liberalism. But I'm not sure how American liberalism differs from say European liberalism. They say Patriarchy with an European accent

I think the this video is extremely relevant to the topic, specially if you were thinking about donating and live outside of the US. The short of it is that only a portion of purchases of the DLC made within the US excluding a few states will be donated to the family. I can almost imagine the WB execs with a fake tear on their eyes saying "It's what he would have wanted."

Incest mod when?

If that DLC becomes popular I fear publishers might start killing employees just to sell DLC.
-
I know of groups of people in my current job that do enjoy playing together, and I also know of someone whose social life amounts to playing with his old friends from before he moved states. So, there might be something to this multiplayer thing that goes beyond the product.

Shame, they were amusing posters, really. Forum was a lot more fun with them around watching people getting spun up over them. Trolls need to evolve with the times; here at Obsidian we appreciate a higher class of trolling where the subject needs to make an elaborate argument that has to be plausible before we even bother responding to it. Any bait thread will die out before it hits 3 pages; that is why I love this place, it is snobby and it sure makes you up your game.

The same issues still apply and I really will just stick to the regular modding community and if they try to censor that then I guess I'll learn how to pirate mods.

Hey I voted Trump, you give me a Libertarian that can stay on point and has a campaign backing them and I'll vote crazy again. Cuz **** the system.

It doesn't mean anything, that's the normal (random) plate she received to replace the unfortunate (random) plate she received the first time. I dunno, it looks like someone mirrored a word for prostitute to me. Thanks, I will now lay awake trying to figure out what word E50HW could be translated into prostitute...NVW I realized that is whore, thanks for the tip; mirrored, that's a good one.
