  1. I can't believe none of you jumped on this like comedy gold. Let's start with intense dumplings. How can you say that?! This is a serious issue.
  2. I'd like to add that alcohol was still consumed on the rest of the world, the opening of the American market was filled by legal producers and gave rise to new ones. Legalizing marijuana is just going to empower illegal drug dealers that will continue to peddle at an international level. On the other hand I disagree that legalization is a solution to the modern drug problem since drugs continue to evolve and cause mass epidemics: first it was opium, then coke, then crack and today it seems to be meth. There is a whole culture built around the consumption of these substance that is something that won't fade by simply making it mainstream. I also think that you underestimate the level to which mj has become culturally relevant, with their own celebrities, magazines and political parties; which have garnered enough support to become a strong contender despite it's platform. A few years back it was a matter of time before this would become a strong issue and seeing as support has not subsided I will say that is only a matter of time before it becomes legal.
  3. Kids these days are marvelously uncreative. I could be a 40 year old fat guy for all you know, besides I have enough imagination to roleplay. But there is a limit to how much foreplay I can get before I get tired and scream to Gaider to finally release something.
  4. Clint Eastwood as Marburg is as blasphemous as it gets. The man's man that taught a whole generation how to be men playing a spy queen, its just wrong.
  5. It's an expression, instead of teasing awesome stuff just show it off when you can. They will eventually; it's hard to get excited when your girlfriend still has all her clothes on. They have to reveal something to build hype.
  6. And have to remind yourself "they are only 15" every 5 seconds.
  7. Such actions are usually spawned through a simplemindedness which is all to common theese days it would seem If you're not willing to buy that as an explanation, you will probably waste alot of time searching for one. Crimes of passion have been around ever since the first caveman killed the caveman that stole his wife, I don't know what you are talking about "common these days".
  8. You could give yourself more AP points per level to fit your taste. Just change the APgained number on the APLevelChart.ini file
  9. The problem with drug legislation is that is bound to be partially inefficient, since it will always fail to address the real issue: The demand. There is a drug market because of the demand, legalizing marijuana won't kill the dealer it will only open up his consumer base. Like Grommir says it will most likely be heavily taxed and it will just be history repeating itself
  10. I'm pretty sure that tobacco does cause cancer, but the amount of non smokers with cancer is significant. Whatever is giving it to them puts the rest of us at significant risk and this cause isn't being addressed because cancer has become synonymous with anti-smoking. But this isn't really the topic.
  11. There is no mention of it anywhere, basically you just point at the pros platform and call on it's weakness. I'll grant you, you are right on your points they are just to constricted to properly address the issue. Which also encompasses the drug trade. Wait, are you saying cancer and emphysema are exaggerated? That is insane. The contribution of tobacco to the mass epidemic of cancer might be, there are lot of cases of nonsmokers that get cancer. Blaming cigars and secondhand smoke just sweeps the problem under the rug, it doesn't solve or addresses alternatives causes.
  12. Well this seems like a waste of space
  13. That sounds interesting but; feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, doesn't DA:O 2 happens 10 years after the main storyline with completely new characters. Is there some kind of carryover or just a canon ending? DA2 starts during the blight in the first game(Lothering). You then play through the next 10 years. Wait a minute, 10 years of gameplay!? It's done like in Alpha Protocol, with flashbacks and narration. BW has gone on a downward spiral since Sonic.
  14. How about a guy that isn't an A-hole. I seriously saw no Bourne,Bauer or Bond, just shades of the same guy.
  15. Near dark doesn't work for me, every frustration ends up with me reattaching the keys to the keyboard. Near-dark=bad idea. Edit: Yay, i'm a Thaumaturgist

  17. No, my argument is that long term study shouldn't hinder making a decision and alcohol and tobacco aren't psychedelic substances. The only reason that marijuana is illegal is because of Mexican aliens and hippies. Plus you are ignoring all the economical benefits that it could bring, this is a market that if legalized it would explode and give a much needed injection of life to the economy.

  19. Yet cigarettes were in circulation before anyone knew the long term effects, which IMO are being exaggerated. Alcohol abuse also makes people dumber, both kill neurons. I really need to see numbers to believe that weed effect on the brain is as great as they say, plus Americans can't get any dumber otherwise their brain cavity might implode.
  20. Hopefully they won't take the questionnaire road and have you fill in the blanks. Best way would be to find out the same way that our PC would, through NPCs and rumors.
  21. Because it fits the old school feel that DA:O was trying to emulate. Really trying
  22. Penalties for enemies using guns in close quarters, animations for the use of handguns with martial arts. The works: AI, bugs, textures loading time. Edit: shadow operative was fine, how else would a stealth based character stand a chance against hordes of enemies at close range.
