  1. I actually had the chance to see one prototype being tested on TV; before the government went all paranoid and began closing down every TV show that dealt with next gen military tech.
  2. Hello everyone, i'm not Orogun (real name John Steward) a teenage from Iowa that liked to pretend he was an immigrant. Since last Saturday he has been taken into the lord side. He left instructions to announce it to his friends in the forums in case that it happened, he held you guys in high regard and i'm sure that he will vouch for you all when you get to heaven. RIP well' miss him.
  3. Don't get me wrong i'm loving the challenge, the curve it's a little too steep but I'm getting an old school feeling whenever I feel something it's too challenging. I can't remember the last time I actually had to use my brain on a fight.
  4. Yeah, me thinks that there is someone pushing for games to be recognized as art and this is a poor excuse for it. BTW who the hell decides if something is an art form?
  5. BTW is this game hard or do I just suck? I mean it seems they are trying to bring back the days when games were actually challenging, but seems i'm out of shape.
  6. It makes sense when you consider that it's an art in video games not video games as art. The concept work for the ME universe is superb
  7. Had the greatest idea for an application of that technology. Concrete food, just add water and watch your guest turn to stone.
  8. quick google search and found that someone else had posted and exe. file online. On the Witcher: someone should hit whomever designed the targeting system on the face with a bat. hit only one guy at a time, then buddies surround me and it's pin ball time.
  9. Or will he be sacrificed to appease the anger of the gaming gods?
  10. Please, give us some credit it was the first thing I checked, second I checked my antivirus making sure that it was not blocking it. I guess it was a corrupted exe. file but it was working fine yesterday. Started it this morning and it didn't began, nothing on the process tab. Anyways it's all fixed now, I was just curious about the cause.
  11. Anyone has any word on why is the exe. error where the game doesn't start happens. Quick fix by downloading another exe. file but very strange error; if it can be called that.
  12. But in the last movie he sacrificed immortality in order to save a chump, Orland Bloom and I agree he needs a straight man to foil.
  13. Great now you mentioned the movie and it's me that's crying babies
  14. Ctrl, middle icon Yeah had to figure that one out in the middle of the prologue, I really don't like the new potion system. I have a love/hate relationship with the combat and the poker dice still makes no ****ing sense to me. It's like the Witcher all over again, with actual sex scenes
  15. I think that you mean: arrrggghh
  16. I'm 6 hours into the game and I've found the first must have mod. Weightless items. Now how the hell do you meditate again?
  17. Wow, is it bad? I'm not sure, she meets with the surgeon tomorrow. It could be worse, she has a brace on now and is using crutches, after the surgery she will probably be on crutches for another few weeks. But she can move around somewhat, and she's young enough to rehab it and all that. She probably won't be doing many competitive sports in the next 6 months, but she should be able to walk well enough fairly soon after the surgery. Oh, today is our 8-year wedding anniversary too Grats, too bad that the accident came at such time. Well I guess it's up to you to make her feel better
  18. Personally I was talking BW general and not DA2 in particular. DA2 was a flop and no doubt due to issues beyond BW's new direction, what I mean it's that they have steadily been moving away from traditional CRPGs and more into Action/RPG. Sadly because of that their storytelling quality has suffered a bit. My own personal Bias regarding DA2 was that I like the general direction they took with DA:O, which they destroyed on the sequel.
  19. Now you are talking about the glory days, back when BW was BW and interactions weren't streamlined for the casual crowd. Your choice, they are just falling into the same trap as everyone else IMO. Making sure that their games appeal to the widest audience possible and trying to tune the experience for maximum yield on the first playthrough. AKA: making idiot-proof games.
  20. What are the things that carry over?.
  21. I assume that you checked the connection, does the system recognize the drive?
  22. That would be true back in the day when BW romances weren't so forward with their advances, now they probably confess their feelings to you the moment you see them and you have to beat them with a stick. Shepard:"Hi Kaidan, how's life treating you" Kaidan: "You had me at hello" Success it's not a measure of quality, just of popularity. They have had a streak of games with poor storytelling, they have been steadily growing apart from their own style and have redefined themselves by just keeping the romances and scraping the rest.
  23. I would say that they are just trying to cater to a minority of gameplayers. Considering that aside from sexual orientation i'm not all that different from my gay friends, I would say that they would put gameplay and quality over a same sex romance with an A.I. (that doesn't even have good lines to top it all off). BW simply got stuck to far up their own **** from all the people praising them, which being as they are they continue to do so despite all the faults in DA2.
