Bracing for disappointment.

I've never really understood, what do moderators do and do they get pay for it? Or just a fancy nametag?
-
I'm actually glad, WD is a good IP and a new one. I'd very much like to see a sequel(and just a sequel) that does the game justice by not making the same mistakes. If Ubisoft Montreal record is anything to go by, they can pull it off.

You can roleplay a morbidly obese assassin that passes every stealth check, sneaking while saying "te hee". You don't find that appealing?
-
I do, sadly. I hope this Orlesian ball will be a good opportunity for my rogue to use some stealth and pick-pocketing ...oh wait, I'm going to be the head of a major organization, stealing stuff wouldn't make much sense. Meh. That's what I always hated about RPGs. That they are trying to appeal to the kleptomaniac crowd?
-
Are you going to watch a tied up Bruce Willis while wearing it? That gives me an idea for a skit; Pulp Fiction in D&D, at the very least it should be my next campaign and on top of it is going to be in non chronological order.

I'll go get my gimp suit.

Within the SA constitution its not illegal at all, we have free speech enshrined in our constitution. And no offensive words were used. This would be a debate around the morals and principles of acceptable journalism. Because this issue has become an argument where people say " its racist and unacceptable that a media house allows such a cartoon to get on there website" Look at it this way, if you censor hateful and offensive speech you might go on thinking that some people you meet are decent when in reality they are a bubbling pot of anger, misogyny and racism. Let them reveal their character so that you can freely oppose them.
-
First of all Twitter thinks everything is racist, Secondly I don't see the danger of one cartoon. It usually takes a massive amount of propaganda 24/7, government support and the silent of other views for a cartoon to be considered dangerous. Even then its just part of a greater whole with a sinister purpose. So it offends people, the question should be: "Is it right?"

Today I made a mutator for Unreal Tournament in class and got a chance to play it for a while. I had forgotten what it felt like playing a fun shooter (Shadow Warrior was last year).

Ultimately its Ubisoft's product, someone made the choice to go with Nvidia so it falls on their shoulders. I like Nvidia's concept of creating graphic libraries for game developers but they could be less blatant about trying to monopolize the market.

David Cage. I had a horrible nightmare about Ellen Page today, no joke.

I really like the whole courtroom drama series in a comic book thing, its a refreshing change from the usual serious nonsense.

Boko Haram and the kidnpping of the school girls

You're telling me that the wife of the man they call "the leader of the Free World" has no better recourse than to launch a Twitter campaign. Its not cynical to doubt the veracity of their sentiment when a lot the decision they made resulted in the deaths of innocents. So I find it difficult to see it as anything more than a calculated political move, specially when all they've done is the bare minimum, which is to acknowledge the problem. What happened to the war on terrorism? Or are Boko Haram just "freedom fighters"? No Boko Haram are considered hard core Islamic fundamentalists. There are several groups like this is Africa, another one is Al-Shebaab in Somalia who are committing terrorist attacks in Kenya But no Western country will just send troops into any African country unless they are invited or the UN backs a security mission, those days are long gone because of the fallout if something goes wrong, like Iraq. Western countries now work in partnership with African countries or they don't get involved at all. This is the correct and reasonable course of military action. So the Americans are doing what they can do in Nigeria and its a lot more than most other countries have done. Lets give them some credit and be supportive I thought the UN was pulling out of Nigeria this year? Has there been talks to get the US to stabilize the region? Because considering their history that might actually be a good thing. -
I find it ironic that the guy who writes for DC who has more rapes than characters and a woman literally on a refrigerator is trying to rip on Marvel because of misogyny. I guess he's an opinionated **** who knows which side his bread is buttered on.
