  1. April May and Juan Duron aka, the princess and the punk
  2. Some people like to gather resources and would like a way to show that off. What if there were acorn pallets that we can use to place globs in. It would work similar to the water container in the fact that once you place a glob in there, it can only contain that type of glob. Just a nice little crate to show off the various globs you have.
  3. it is just a foundation. you're options are the flat one or the ramp. Because mushrooms seem to be their go-to in the brick department, they might not have plans to make real rocks and clays be part of a building theme.
  4. Currently you can't change a game that already started. I don't know if they plan to make it an option for saved games. i feel like if they wanted it to be that way they could have done it in the last update, so it might not be intended, or they might have a hard time implementing it while also allowing achievements up to the point where you change the settings. They don't want custom games to get achievements, probably because it's like cheating.
  5. My suggestion was rain would flush out the ants making them aggressive and attack you.
  6. This is probably one of the most nitpicky posts i've made. But the Black Ant Armor and the Red Ant Armor looking identical makes sense until you realize their armor type. One is light, and so a lack of chest armor makes sense. But the other is heavy, and looks out of place when you compare it to the other heavy armor which cover up more of the body.
  7. create a lean-to and set your spawn in the area you expect to struggle
  8. What if raids were a thing were red ants attack your base, probably based on where your sleeping area is or the workbench you use the most. You would be warned of a raid because there will be a drizzle that day that is implied to wash the ants out of the ant hill which is why they are being aggressive the following night.
  9. You press the drop button while looking at a zipline to make the weed stems or planks zip down.
  10. From what i can tell, they weaken armor and food because they realized those items were too strong for the future updates to have a comparably stronger end game material. But they also include additional ways to get stronger with the updates. So while they are raising the bar, they are giving you the tools to reach that bar.
  11. Open Broadcaster Software is a common recording device ppl use that's free to download. the user interface is kind of tricky at first tho
  12. There is legit PVP potential in this game, but with only 4 players at a time you're only going to be running with friends. I think the cap could go up to 12 so you can have factions of players. I know this would imply more characters to choose from, but Obsidian could just remove the limitation so there can be multiple Pete's. If you're having objections, obviously you don't have to play this way, you could still run it completely coop with a few friends, but adding options where you can increase the player cap or even limit mutations, raw science, and map locations to the one player who got it would only add to the game.
  13. idk about customizing, but they could add a couple more kids to play as for the sake of variety.
  14. I'm gonna be a Debbi downer here. I feel like something like attack is meant to be upgraded with the smithing table. While other stuff like breathing is part of mutations. I think the team plans on having you go through different paths to get different types of upgrades, so having everything come from molars isn't part of the plan.
  15. I prefer using a one handed weapon, but my only options to go with it is be a torch bearer or use a shield. I'd rather be more aggressive, but i don't expect to have two weapon fighting in this game so how about something similar to a parry dagger. It wouldn't be as good as a shield, but it would give dazzling riposte.
  16. I have so much extra armor from Burg.L quests. I wish i could destroy them to get some stuff back.
  17. i like the idea of using an environment puzzle set up to defeat a boss. But the difference in size is actually dependent on diet and gender. We could be fighting malnourished males.
  18. And you know what else? water fleas are too big, they're barely bigger than an aphid in real life.
  19. Ok, ok, hear me out. This would have the same color scheme as the Marksman's cap and be made using the same material (Crow Feather, Berry leather, Spiderweb/silk) However it's not just more bow damage. Instead the set would focus on stealth, that decreases your aggro range. The design of the armor is as followed, a vest with feather parts around its shoulders that kind of resemble fur, leather shins with the spider silk holding it together and feathers popping out from underneath, and a hood similar to the spider hood but with berry leather instead. The set bonus would be Sniper (far shots do more damage/crit) And here's the kicker, the Marksman's cap would also count towards the set bonus, meaning you can choose between the hood or the cap to still get the bonus! That brings up my second idea: having more sets that work in tandem with each other for the bonuses, giving you some freedom of playstyle.
  20. It's tough to tell with the bar they use, so I print screen and count pixels, dividing the bar into 20 (5% each) sections. I've found that each armor piece for the ladybug set covers 40% of the bar. Meaning it's 120% total. I'm happy the pieces are all the same, because I don't have to print screen each piece to figure out the value of the set now.
  21. If you love the clinging sound when you get a perfect block, then it's great, as it supports your ability to perfect block, and gives you a damage bonus if you do. If you prefer a war of attrition and would rather swing on something in the hopes it dies first, then it's useless. It's also not tough to get as you don't need to kill anything for it.
  22. I think the bird could be used to fast travel by grabbing on to its leg while it takes you across the map, but it would be oblivious that you are there, not like a taming thing. Maybe even to a part of the map that is accessible otherwise. (Story related?) As far as armor goes, I wouldn't mind more berry leather and crow feather stuff to match the Marksman's cap. Maybe it would have a Night's Watch look from Game of Thrones, but instead of fur around the shoulders it's feathers.
  23. The Koi, Spider, and Acorn all have the same defense when I checked. I honestly don't know what keeps Acorn from being tier 2 at this point. Anyway, you are correct that they changed, but there are still different stats for other armor like ant and grub, so it's probably not a bug. This certainly makes it easier for me to calculate how much each armor is. The ladybug used to be +8, but it's now a whopping +12 armor.
  24. Alright guys, since the Crow and Koi Fish are immortal, I think it's safe to say they are gods. The Crow is Lawful Neutral, constantly judging from atop his perch. The Koi Fish is the destroyer of worlds wishing to eat all in it's path. Chaotic Evil for the Koi Fish. Anyway I'm just trying to start a religion and convince people to make shrines for the new deities.
