Any chance of pure turn-based combat?
There are few cRPGs with combat better than in Temple of Elemental Evil, so a big resounding YES! It's just more tactically complex.

Will Project Eternity raise 10M?
I'd say that 5-6 millions are entierly within the real of possibilty. They just need to figure out more enticing stretch goals and present them properly. They need to keep the momentum going.

Armour and weapon designs - a plea.
Yeah, but there plenty of ways to make the designs both satisfying and practical. Could be more ornamental, or exotic etc. etc.

Armour and weapon designs - a plea.
That's another thing I forgot to mention - please limit particle effects on weapons to a minimum (or better yet, offer a toggle). It isn't a surprise most games that use those end up having user mods removing them soon after... By the way, edited post, added one more image.

Armour and weapon designs - a plea.
Indeed, I'm not advocating absolute realism - for an instance, Lord of the Rings movies do this right most of the time I feel. But it still retained that fantasy feel.

Morale system
This could work, I like it. It could even depend on the companions themselves? Some would be more likely to panic, some would fight it to the end, others would go berserk.

Armour and weapon designs - a plea.
Yeah, simplicity is beautiful most of the time.

Armour and weapon designs - a plea.
One thing that I highly dislike about modern RPGs are the outlandish and outright ugly armour and designs. If you'd allow me some examples (incoming hyperbole and large images) : This Certainly looks better than this : Second example : In the examples, I've juxtaposed somewhat ornamental and a bit fantasy looking pieces of equipment with ones that look more like toys (which I consider to be a general tendency in fantasy cRPGS). Is the continuing urge for so called "epicness" really worth it? I think there's plenty of historical (and not so historical) arms and armour to draw inspiration from. Non-practical equipment is a real eye sore most of the time, IMHO. And yes, I realize that the game is isometric, and we won't see arms and armour in great detail - but that'll only make the task that much easier. While we're at it, please consider using something similar for item descriptions :

Was any internet petition successful, really?

Kotaku article!
Sure, but in both on those games both male-female and female-male relationships suffered from that. That's why I agree with CrashGirl: Video games aren't a platform suitable to explore human relationships, as simple as that. When they do tackle such complex subjects it ultimately has to come off as shallow (yes, shallow, not misogynistic, misantrophic, misandric or whatever). But video game developers have no pretense of trying to potray such subjects accurately. We're talking about a form of entertainment here.

Edit your posts more, take your time. Making superfluous posts doesn't quite prove your claim though. But there's some humour shining through your last post, so I'll let it slide.

Looks like you're very upset about video games.

Can we go around without holding guns.
I was really surprised that Bioshock didn't scare me at all. It started off so well, with that splicer trying to reach you while you're cowering in the bathysphere. But in the end, it failed to convey a creepy atmosphere. At least for me. Could be because splicers aren't that scary, SS2 hybrids were much better. System Shock 2 however, was genuinely scary. It wasn't about the closet monsters, but the atmosphere - it was very heavy.

Nice preview mate, thanks.

Can we go around without holding guns.
System Shock 2 is the most scary game there is, trust me. It's also more complex than Deus Ex, but both titles are very enjoyable. I'd still rate SS2 higher though.

Are there any anarco-syndicalist communes in this game?
No, but there will be Anarcho-capitalism in the game. Hope you enjoy.

Obsidian's another unannounced title?
Hopefully they'll spill the beans once AP is released.

Star Wars the Old Republic
Yeah, you're right, but looking at Wikipedia I've found this: A lot of space to continue the KotOR storyline. Hell, if they were smart they would've released a single player RPG with a story that would directly segue to MMO's plot.

Fair enough. Thanks.

Star Wars the Old Republic
KotOR III made by Obsidian would be ace. If they would be given enough time. I don't see how this could be considered a competition. Hell, it could increase the MMO sales.

If the game will be as good as I think it'll be I really hope it sells well. By well I mean about 2 million copies.

Interview/Q&A on Gamespot
One question Mat, this has been bugging me for a while: After you complete someone's dossier won't the dialogue become boring? Let's take Sie : once you figure out that you should be aggressive when dealing with her won't the dialogue be reduced to choosing "aggressive" all the time?

Interview/Q&A on Gamespot
Thanks mate. Well, there's nothing new in the interview, but worth a read. I'm surprised how well the game is received by the gamers. A lot of positive comments. This game might sell pretty good after all - if Sega will decide to promote it more.
