  1. http://www.gametrailers.com/user-movie/ris...gameplay/360030 Polish cam of Risen 2.. But it does show a lot of in-game action. Character models look funny as usual, but the game looks good!
  2. So why the **** are you responding?
  3. Yes. At first it may make you feel a bit stupid, but if you stick to it, it's very addictive. Also, I recommend getting driblets of info from a wiki or something because you may end up not knowing what to do at certain times: http://wiki.terrariaonline.com/Terraria_Wiki A huuuge tip (that I managed to miss for the first 20 hours or so) is to use the crafting hints you can get from talking to the guide. There's a small slot in his dialogue where you can put different material and see the recipes connected to that material. It helps immensely. Much better than to fill your inventory with random material and run between the different crafting stations and hope for pure luck
  4. Not likely. Intel's graphics cards aren't really graphics cards at all. It's more like.. a chip for the bare necessities for showing graphics. They do not support the more advanced 3D graphics instruction sets or standards, the kinds that most advanced computer games demand. What you should be asking is: when will Intel start manufacturing real graphics cards that support the standard 3D graphics libraries?
  5. Yeah, I had to put up a picture of the house too. It's a work in progress :D
  6. So.. this is the furthest down I've gotten: I have no clue what to do there. All I do is cheese my way slowly forward by building these tunnels.. The enemies kill you very fast if they get a hold of you, the lava is obviously lethal, and even the red buildings hurt you if you walk on/in them! So basically I dig my way down for an hour, look at the dangerous things and then teleport my way back to my safe house. I did break down slightly, however. I looked up some recipes (on http://wiki.terrariaonline.com/ ) and how to build a house. The depth meter is new. It definitely helps to have a house. I can't get the game to recognize my new house as my spawn point (despite following the instructions on the Wiki), but other than that it's a success. Ugly as hell too.
  7. Yeah. Stupid game made me feel stupid. But then I gave it another chance and now I feel clever again. How do you build a house? I built a wooden box with a door. That's it. I wish there was a way to see the 'recipes' for what you can do in the game. So far I've only managed to make the simplest of things.
  8. A new trailer: http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/a-rousing-risen-2-video It looks OK. I must say I like the size and design of the ships. But I am starting to worry that Piranha Bytes aren't Piranha Bytes anymore. So many (important) team members have left over the years that I'm not sure I would still call them the makers of the Gothic series. It kind of shows in Risen too.. They've divided the world map into zones (islands), you are playing a "chosen one" (the plot instrument I hate the most), the game is more and more aimed at consoles, and so on. Still interested, but I'm not as excited as I used to be over a new Piranha Bytes game.
  9. Terraria. My god what an addictive little game!
  10. Awesome Rage trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/uprising...ler-rage/718591 Finally some of that iD magic is showing again. Ruthless!
  11. I bought Terraria from Steam because someone recommended it. I built an ugly house, killed some.. puddles of slime (?) and quit. Why did you recommend this to meeee?! Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  12. Help, my armour keeps asking me if I like it!
  13. So.. first you're mocking Morgoth for wanting/predicting a single console future, because you like variation, and then you go on to say you like exclusives because you enjoy focusing on specific hardware? Do you need a minute to think this through, Nightshape?
  14. Them's fighting words
  15. In that case, Stalker & CoD: Modern Warfare must be RPGs, and more complex ones at that. The funny thing is.. Playing Stalker has always felt like playing a RPG for me. Instead of advancing my character's stats, I am advancing my character's equipment. I'm solving quests and I can move freely in this strange world and converse with people. Not so far from a RPG if you ask me!

That's the best jersey I've ever seen.
  17. Have you ever heard of a game called Sins of a Solar Empire? One of the first patches for that game was a camera fix. I'm not saying it has never happened or never will. But I think Obsidian had a good reason for not including separate cameras for everyone in co-op in the first place, and it wasn't to screw with the multiplayer fans.
  18. I've actually been playing a free-to-play MMO for a while: http://www.realmofthemadgod.com/ You play it in a browser, it has.. almost 8-bit graphics, but it doesn't suck! It's actually fun! I'm still unlocking the character classes because I suck..
  19. I played this game to death on my Commodore 64. It came on 8 floppy discs so I'm not even kidding. I think it's still loading in my parents basement. It will be finished 20 years after my death.
  20. Ok, the keybinding makes me curious about this game again (I am left handed). But.. you guys hoping for a new camera in multiplayer.. I can bet my left nut on it being a too huge undertaking for a patch. Maybe in an expansion?
  21. Good luck! Huge undertaking, but the world really needs another BGDA so I am keeping my thumbs!
  22. I got Torchlight.. I will probably not play it, but.. uh.. STUPID STEAM

Omg, Tim Connolly.. I've never liked the guy and he has to go sign a lucrative contract with my stupid club! Really Toronto, Tim Connolly is what we were missing?! ****.
  24. For anyone interested in that Star Wars MMORPG: http://betacake.blogspot.com/2011/06/star-...creenshots.html Lots and lots of screenshots from the closed beta. To me it looks like a reskinned WoW.
  25. I would actually love an Alpha Protocol 2.. if they opened it up a bit. Imagine if you had your own HQ and you were free to choose which countries to go to, which cities to explore and which missions to undertake. Sort of like, build-your-own spy game story. I mean, you are a super spy.. why are there no side missions where I can abuse all my gadgets and spy powers?! I want to rob banks to finance my next world saving mission :D
