It's out already? I wonder if the Android version is out already? Edit: Looks like I have another week to wait for the Android version. Hopefully my phone can handle it. How does it play with touch controls? The controls are decent enough, though I do miss having analog sticks, and driving motorcycles is very chaotic on a touch screen lol I bought a MOGA Pocket (I think) and it's excellent. Great build quality and it works with most games (not counting the ones with official MOGA support). Works with iPhone too. I highly recommend it. Both GTA Vice City and San Andreas support the MOGA.

I'm also playing Path of Exile.. on and off. Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. I beat Dominus on Merciless and since then I've mostly been kicking Piety's sexy ass over and over. I did try a few maps, but.. they were neither fun nor rewarding. The game really dies after level 70.

Went to the annual Christmas party at my company this Friday. Started with lunch at a really nice restaurant/conference place (idyllically placed near a beautiful lake), followed up by a 4 hour conference that was strangely amusing. It ended with our CEO opening a bottle of beer in front of everyone in the Swedish company (around 120 or so people) and, speaking very slowly, saying "I'll just sip on this for a bit" and then downing the beer. Everyone cheered. Then it was two hours free time before obligatory dinner. I spent my two hours in the lakeside sauna and diving into the ice covered lake, while the ice-cold storm winds whipped snow all over my semi-naked body (unisex sauna so we had to wear bathing shorts). It was awesome to dive into the raging black waters with the wind howling and only the stars in the sky as a light! Scary too. And cold. Then we had dinner. Everyone were randomly placed at different tables. I ended up sharing my table with the CEO and three women, none of them particularly cute. Which was annoying since we have a lot of seriously cute ladies in our company. But the food was nice, there was a.. show (if you can call it that) by some of my colleagues and me and the CEO were drinking shots like mad men. By the time dinner was done, I was already drunk. Then they cleared the middle of the huge room and opened the bar. The bar was maybe 20 meters long all in all and opposite it was a wall made of 5 meter (or so) high windows and a little stage. A live band entered the stage and started playing and after that the party was on full blast! I danced for nearly 5 hours, drank a lot of unidentified drinks/beer/whisky, took some blurry pics, and generally had a lot of fun. I also finally got to dance with the cutest girl in the company (according to me) that I've been lusting over for a year or so. Lots of weird things happened and everyone was just so happy! It was awesome! When the bar finally wanted to close, our CEO didn't like it and took the bartender into an adjacent room. After a few minutes he came back out with a champagne bottle in his hands and said, "It's all taken care of" and then the bar stayed open for another couple of hours. Pretty cool. We had gotten drink tickets from the company that we could use up until then, but after this we didn't need them anymore. When the band finally gave up, I somehow got back to my room and fell asleep with my clothes still on. Even my shoes. 3 hours later my alarm went off and we had to get on the bus for the airport and the plane to take us back home. I was not Tarzan at that point. In fact, I think I was sick until Sunday.. Worth it.

So basically we could just rename this thread IMGUR.com, put a link to that site and lock the thread.

The horrible thing is that I love that movie.

Don't you love when nerds want to discuss the definition of things? It's so refreshing because in the history of the internet, this has never happened before.

Why do I get an urge for a new Piranha Bytes game every time I read, hear or see anything about The Witcher 3?

I'm 8 hours into Skyrim now and not a single bug so far. I have no idea why you guys call this game buggy. To me it looks very polished. The game is much smoother and prettier than I had imagined. I have no idea how they make it look so good, yet run so flawlessly (I don't think I ever go under 60 fps). I've killed my first dragon, but I failed to report back to the jarl yet. Too much to see and do everywhere! Oh, and the game sure as hell isn't too easy for me. I've been wandering around exploring and some of the enemies have kicked my butt. Brutally. Not at all like Oblivion. Having fun so far and it's been much better than expected.

Far Cry 3 is awesome, if a bit repetitive in the later stages. I paid day-one money for it and thought it was well worth that price.

Finally bought Skyrim so I can join you guys in whining about how bad it is and still waste 300 hours playing it.

When will people stop confusing game length with game quality? Do you honestly think you would have enjoyed Dragon Age 2 if it was shorter? A short crap game is still crap. Or the other side of the coin: if you were playing the best game you had ever played, do you think you would complain that it was too long? If a game becomes boring after a while, it's not because it is too long. It is because it's not good enough.
-
Perhaps. But it was Piranha Bytes who made Risen 2, not CD Projekt (they made the Witcher).
-
Because idiots keep buying them. And then they go on game boards and whine about how bad these games are and wonder how they make millions. Next year they do it again.

I DRIVE AN AUDI It's our official company car, so I've spent a lot of hours and miles in them. It's actually a surprisingly good car, so.. good choice. This seemed appropriate: http://imgur.com/gallery/bsgzm Mean Volvo

Bought Wasteland. Again. 25 years later. Omg, I am old. Damn, user interfaces have evolved since 1988. FOR THE BETTER.

You need to buy the new and improved Wasteland and have sex with one of the prostitutes in that game..

You're surprised that they chose to not punish their legit customers with DRM and instead went after the pirates?

What is it that makes the Oilers so crappy? The talent they have on-board does not reflect itself in the standings.

GoG will sell the updated version of Wasteland, starting November 12. http://www.gog.com/game/wasteland_the_classic_original I love this game so much. Unfortunately I've played it too much so I remember all the passwords and riddles by heart. Makes it a bit too easy.. I WILL STILL BUY IT AND PLAY THE **** OUT OF IT

Look, I'm healthy as a fiddle and I smoke! (gets cancer, dies a horrible death 2 years later) Look, I'm healthy as a fiddle and I don't exercise! (gets a heart attack and dies age 37) Look, I'm healthy as a fiddle and thin as a stick to boot! (drains the body's natural supplies of minerals/nutrients/vitamins, gets all sorts of deficiency problems) Being healthy is temporary, exercise is a way of staying healthy in the long run.

Ok, let me rephrase: when it has mouse and keyboard controls that are not getting flak from random users. If there's something that can really kill a game for me it's flawed controls (comes from the guy who loved the firest Gothic.. oh well).
