What's so bad about that dialogue, really? I am not a native English speaker, I'd like to know. Sounded like normal colloquial speech to me; keep in mind that the Lone Wanderer is a 19-year old kid.

It's funny how the complexity/difficulty of games has changed... the ancient Wizardry RPGs had some fights that could take up to an hour. Veterans of 80s RPG games probably considered RPGs like Baldur's Gate pathetically easy, just like now we are lauding Baldur's Gate as the 'pinnacle' of complexity and scoff at Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect, et al. But it seems this decline in complexity is true for pretty much every game genre - compare 'ancient' adventure games from Sierra like King's Quest or Quest for Glory to modern ones --- if you missed to pick up a certain object in King's Quest, it could be impossible to finish the game; if you solved a puzzle the wrong way, you could die in gruesome fashion. Can you imagine something like this in a modern adventure game? Compare the old Tomb Raider games to the modern ones - nowadays Lara practically moves herself around the screen, with the player having to push one or two buttons... in the original ones one had to mess around with all possible arcane keyboard combinations to get the job done. I shudder to think that the so-called 'console kiddies' will scoff at games 10-20 years from now and brag that 'in their day' games were much more complex and difficult...

Bethesda should've attributed a certain amount of AP to accessing your inventory during combat, and a certain amount of AP to using a stimpack during combat. Simple & elegant. Incomprehensibly not included. As for the Witcher, there was a potion that immediately restored an amount of health, but this was balanced by the fact that the toxicity of the potion was very high.

Boosting sales at the risk of alienating their loyal fanbase. EA strikes again. On another note, did that mentioned ME trailer feature Eiffel 65 music? I forget.

Err, Asajj Ventress above Galen Marek or Exar Kun?? Keep in mind that Exar Kun used to be Dark Lord of the Sith, & Marek defeated both Vader & Darth Sidious... Ventress was just a lowly apprentice.

Lucasarts, Activision & Atari are not game developers, they're publishers. For instance, both KOTOR 1 & 2 were published by LucasArts, but developed by respectively BioWare & Obsidian Entertainment. Anyway, I'll vote for Obsidian.

Would Windu have beaten Grievous with his aggressive Vaapad? Doubtful. The Council sent Obi-Wan specifically because he was the master of Soresu. His defenses were impenetrable.

Sounds good, as long as they keep the variety in gameplay. That was what compensated for the simplicity.

Maybe you'll have to visit various planets in the sequel, and the particular planet in the trailer has humans as dominant population? Hillys could be the 'home turf' then, where you return after each planet mission and buy starkos & k-bups, upgrades, etc. Heck, I definitely want to see those rhinos and the orphaned kids again. Considering Pey'j's 'affliction', I think +n years later is impossible - the affliction seemed rather urgent on Double H. Hopefully we'll get at least a token of information on the plot in the near future..

As long as they still include the mini-games and racing... that pallet game with the shark drove me insane. Spent hours trying to win just to get his pearl.

The perks didn't bother me that much, I still chose more conventional perks at level 22 & 23 (didn't even get to 24). The perk at level 30 may seem overpowered, but getting to level 30 takes so long now that I see it more as a reward. Not to mention, a lot of people seem to complain that SPECIAL doesn't matter, so then if that is so - who cares if all stats are put to 9?

As long as they don't release the game together with say Assassin's Creed 2, it should be fine. BG&E was released at about the same time as Sands of Time - madness. The fact alone that Ubisoft allowed this sequel to be made was already a huge surprise for me. Ancel must've done some serious lobbying.

I finished it in around 7 hours to finish it but kinda rushed through it. I'll have to go through it again to see if and how all the different 'endings' of FO3 influence the BS beginning & ending. But really, Bethesda should've put this content in from the very beginning, even if they only started working on BS reacting to customer feedback regarding the ending.

I agree that Mace Windu is the greatest in the movies. Though Dooku is no slouch either.

It's actually possible to die in this DLC, too. The new enemies aren't exactly cupcakes. I had to lay off my leather armor and switch over to some of the power armor for the first time.

Jade was a stealthy reporter but she was also acrobatic and used martial arts. In fact, I'd say she did more stick-fu than stealthing. The original Beyond Good and Evil used almost the same engine as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Yes, but nonetheless if you botched the stealth in the missions featuring the bucket-head enemies with their hammers it was quite hard to stay alive. In these cases the only option was spamming that whirlwind power attack and hoping to be lucky. I hope the sequel will feature some of the co-op of the first game, "Jet-Boots Attack!!" and "Carlson & Peeters!!!" was simply awesome. one thing is already certain: the music is going to be top-notch as Christophe H

The stealthy reporter seems to have turned into Lara Croft or the girl from Mirror's Edge overnight. That video doesn't seem to take place in Hillys either. I really wonder what the story will be, considering the way the game ended with that huge cliffhanger.

Getting to level 30 requires nothing less than a World of Warcraft-like grindfest. I started Broken steel at level 20, did everything (at least I think I did) and finished at level 24.
