Cleveland is ideal if FO4 will be set in Chicago (which it will probably be). It's a bit too far off from NV. Fallout New Vegas: the Top, set in Topeka, Kansas; now that would be ideal. Or hell, just take the setting to Mexico.

Since FO3's first DLC was in Pittsburgh, may I suggest Cleveland as the setting for the first DLC to NV?

Both laser rifles & plasma rifles should have a way higher DAM than they currently have in the game. Consider that in real life, Nd-YAG lasers are used to cut metals, and the beam of a laser rifle in FO is more powerful than the Nd-YAG. And plasma just burns through everything, that's why it is encapsulated into a very high magnetic field in tokamaks. In my opinion, energy weapons should be way more powerful, but also much more difficult to find (I got attacked by Powder gangers in the NCRCF wielding plasma pistols, for instance).

It seems to me you temporarily lose your disguise if you repair it with another one. This happened to me in the beginning of the game with the Powder gang.

I doubt the WOT game(s) will be book conversions, but will just make use of the setting, like the 2000 WOT videogame did (which was a pretty good fantasy FPS).

Nothing beats this so far: Both ED-E (carrying all my junk) & Mr Assassin fighting inside a rock. I almost didn't get ED-E out again.

It seems picking low INT was worth it after all. For some reason, the funny dialogue only seems to trigger when speaking with scientists and the like. Whoever wrote this, thank you for making me laugh out loud.

In my game, the sky is green around Searchlight at night. I don't get it, since radiation isn't supposed to be visible. Also, I find it a bit dubious how the NCR could drive the Brotherhood from Helios One. Even if they outnumbered the Brotherhood 20 to 1, what would they do against power armour with their puny service rifles? It must've been a meat grinder.

Before I set him to passive, I've had ED-E proudly charging into groups of golden geckos & young cazadores, and somehow winning (with a little bit of help). If he dies, I'm in big trouble since he carries around all my loot.

I don't get some of the quest design in this game. During a fetch quest for Camp Forlorn Hope, I was attacked by some Legion clowns and obviously defended myself which made my Legion standing plummeting from 'neutral' to 'hated' immediately. Then somehow not even 30 seconds later, several Legion Assassins spawned and attacked me because "Caesar himself had ordered it". But then not much later it became completely mind-boggling that a Legion clown took me right into Camp Nelson to speak with the Denarus there... who didn't seem to care about my bad reputation at all, and just rattled off some lines and left me alone afterwards, allowing me to go outside and take out the entire camp. Afterwards, when I returned to the Denarus, he and his bodyguards were not even hostile. Maybe it's a bug, or the game wants to force me to deal with the Legion in a peaceful way, but it doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

ED-E is a good companion for his perk and he lets you target invisible creatures in VATS. Just tell him to wait in front of a dungeon while you clear out everything and he should be OK. Also, I finally encountered some low INT dialogue:

Play the Underdark section of BG2 and you've played 50% of HotU. Or maybe 75%, considering you can sleep with a drow if you're male and there's some romance drama as well.

I'm very happy so far with the Ratslayer. Anything unarmored goes down with one long-range headshot.
