Despite it being a pretty horrible console port, I kinda liked the first Darksiders, but that level in the giant cathedral near the end nearly killed the game for me. The protagonist is also an acquired taste, but much more palatable than other action game heroes like, say, Kratos or Geralt of Rivia. Kinda torn on Darksiders 2. It tried to do a lot of new things compared to the first game, which is commendable, but didn't really succeed at most of them.

KOTOR 2 > NWN2 > MotB > FO:NV > Dungeon Siege 3 > SoZ > Alpha Protocol.

Demon Stone has the best dragon fight in any D&D related game, ever.

I think you are in the parts that get better again. I found the game fun in the first part, getting stale when you got to the generic fantasy elf and human stuff and with the siege it becomes fun again as you mess with the winter court and how the court jester became king. Did you enjoy the DLC? Liked them both, but in the pirate DLC the neverending Keep sidequests that net ~4,000 XP each time for almost zero effort are pretty cheap. I probably gained five levels there before I stopped.

Alamur keeps delivering. The Siege of Tel Menshir (or however that's spelled) makes the Battle of Ostagar in Dragon Age look like a schoolyard fight. The game is great fun in a sort of Saints Row 3-esque way.
