The voice actors for Maya and Selina were also in Summoner. That game (and its sequel) can probably also be considered (western) jRPGs.

If it weren't possible to one-shot 99% of mobs with one card combination halfway through the game, I think I would've quit that game. The dungeons are ridiculously big and all you do is run around pulling switches. At least Anachronox had interesting dungeons and a lot of interesting sidestuff to do. Characters were a lot more likable as well.

That had to be one of the worst design decisions ever in a video game. No matter how badly you wiped the floor with him, as soon as the cutscene plays it's as if he was kicking your butt. Talk about immersion breaking. Cutscene nonsense was way worse in Twitcher 2 and Desu Ex.

Would make more sense for Inquisiton to go after Black Templars. They are uncontrolled.

Mars War Logs setting is a bit remindful of Cowboy Bebop, only it doesn't span the entire solar system. Pity, it would make the game much more interesting. Of course, limited budget, etc. For a 20 € game it was servicable.
