Well he's like 80+ years old and apparently still has mommy issues, so.... I really dunno. Watched First Contact again last weekend, and man, it's so much better than the new garbage.

The animations look rough, but other than that it seems interesting. Not sure if I'm a fan of the third person camera, though. Also shame it's no *actual* gameplay outside of a little dialog.

I don't think it would have been fine. Might have just taken longer for russia to get into it, or they would have invaded anyways if their political shenanigan obviously failed.

I finally dominated Starscourge Radahn, my currently No1 worst bossfight in all of Elden Ring. Cheesed him, because I couldn't be arsed anymore. Punched some levels into Arcane, equipped my arcane-boosting ring, and then used the Dragon Breath whatever spell. Summon the party members, let them melee the boss, use dragon breath to give him rot, then run away and wait for phase 2. Dodge the stupid meteor, try to get close to him without getting hit, use dragon breath again, then run away as far as possible and wait. Even with this it took me 4 attempts, because his stupid attacks are such insta-killing bullcrap.

Generic person here in germany doesn't even know about this stuff. Saying "yes, cut it off!" is easy -- but it comes from people who don't even know how much we import from russia. Also I still find it funny how planned this crap was. Russia delivered less gas over the past couple months, because "issues", and once the ukraine invasion started, magically the german gas reserves were low ... They deliberately tried to take us hostage via gas deliveries. Our state failed with diversification. Not that this is news... People were talking about that already for years, but I guess our gov simply didn't thought it would ever get into a situation like this now. In hindsight, quite naive.

Wasn't stuff like this always in their games? Kinda want to replay Gothic 1 again. Still the best one they made, imo.

Nah, shooters and tactical / strategy games are the only ones I'm still playing with M&K. But if a game was primarily made with gamepad in mind, then I usually take that.

Did I say that? I never played any of the ME games with gamepad. I wanted to at some point (so I can play them from the couch on my big ass tv), but if I remember right, the PC port flat out didn't have gamepad support, so it wasn't working.
