All that stuff is leaving but not DS9?

Looks nice, but also too good to be true. There must be a catch to it. Hope it won't release as console-only first. /edit: just saw it releases on all platforms. Nice.

The only news site I follow is this one.

That show was running in TV late at night back in the days when I chose my very first internet nick. Using it ever since.

I don't know what the point of life-action adaptions is. Did anyone ever made an actually good one?

Exactly. This is just pure mexicans = evil propaganda in a hilariously bad form. It gets even worse because in order to not look racist, they gave Rambo a mexican girlfriend and daugther (see, not all mexicans are bad! Some are fleeing from the bad people into the land of the free!).

I just watched Rambo 5: Brown People Bad. First let me say that this movie is much more entertaining than Rambo 4, which had horrible cuts, super bad pacing and was just generally really boring. Now to Rambo 5... This movie is hilarious. It tries to be serious, but it made me laugh hard in multiple occasions. There is so much dumb **** in it. The prologue is clearly a homage to Rambo 1, but with a twist to it. So far so good. Then it's all about mexico = bad. Of course the worst things happen right away. And then in the end Rambo is just insta-gibbing (brown) people. His ending dialogue was so cringe, it felt like a completely different movie again. I have no idea how many he killed, but it was more than they could have realistically fit into the cartel cars. It's also hilarious how the mexicans cross the border. Only thing missing was a red carpet in their tunnel. Now that I'm thinking about it, why are they using a tunnel anyways? Rambo is just driving through a small wire fence to get back into america. All in all, this whole movie is a jerk-off fantasy for maga doomsday preppers. Especially when considering the release date and the political crap about mexico at the time of its release... it's just hilarious.

Visuals yes, but the animations are ugh. And that Succubus game really pissed me off when I played that demo thingy. It was just so stupid random. Ducks flaying around, some scene with babies and the worst offender was cutting open a pregnant woman to get to the fetus -- not because you were cutting open a pregnant woman, but because the whole scene was setup in such a stupid and lazy way, it only existed to make people talk about the game and nothing else. Like, you just walk down a corridor, get into some lazy mob/wave combat scene, continue the corridor and then in the middle of it in front of your next gate, there is this scene. It's just so pointless, no meaning behind it at all.

Sure, but as I said, it kills the lifetime of a post. If you make a new thread and everyone only likes it, it'll be on page 2 of the index very soon and thus potential other opinions will never show up. I'm noticing this a lot when releasing my small mod projects -- everyone just likes the thread, and then it's time for the abyss, never to be seen again.

I hate "like" buttons on a forum, as they kill conversation. 10 years ago, you'd post something and people would respond to it, which makes other people respond, which makes people respond, and in the end, the topic might stay active for a long time .... Now you post something and people "like" it, but nobody replies, which means the post will disappear in a few hours and that's the end of it. The only way to make most folks care is to write something stupid or controversial which forces them to respond. Maybe this could be circumvented a bit if "liking" a post would have the same effect on the thread as a normal reply (pushing it up again). Then at least it would stay active for a bit longer. However, I still think the topic dies faster if nobody actually responds.

I also wanted to buy it since day 1 but then never managed to actually do it ...

Is this some sort of open world dark souls?
-
I only had 1 episode left and figured it wouldn't get any more exciting at this point.

Your Lie in April was great. Didn't finish Girl's Last Tour, because I found it boring as hell and really couldn't get into that snooze fest.
-
I really like his Dredd movie. Wouldn't mind another one.
-
You are right, which makes me roll my eyes even harder. That person could have just not written that, but instead had to jeopardize their whole point with this.
-
Yeah, that part was stupid and unnecessary.

An air leak, again?? Do they try to kill everyone on the ISS or why does that keep happening?

IMO the film came out too late. The time of end time movies was ... ending. Same with Postman, which is actually a pretty good movie (except for the last chapter, which is just terrible american patriotism that makes me want to vomit). Nowadays these movies have gained in popularity again. The old hate seems to be forgotten and now people see them as the movies they are. At least worth a watch. I'm curious about a waterworld tv show, but I fear they would throw in too much useless drama and half the story will be set on land in a small forest, because everything else would be too expensive.

It's not just the US anymore. I know a czech person who is strongly anti-union with one of the arguments being that unions make his job worse and stuff like that.
-
Damn, they aren't doing it anymore? This was the only way I could experience the Picard ending and the other seasons of STD.
-
I'm curious why they are releasing this as "part 1" - maybe they were unsure if people would like it and thus released just a bit at first instead of a whole season? Or maybe part 2 would have needed so much time that they didn't want to wait for it any longer?

Watched the new He-Man. Not bad, but sadly a bit too short.

Well, the crew fighting with each other isn't really what is putting me off of the new Trek. It's all the dumb schlock and non-sci-fi and quickly ****ted out storylines that make me question my sanity.
-
Why do they allow Kurtzman to rape Star Trek so much. I don't understand this ... is ... is the problem actually us? Does everyone like the new Star Trek and it's just us few who hate it?
