Heh. So I'm monitoring the ps4 pro + RDR2 bundle on Amazon right now and suddenly there's lots of third party sellers offering the bundle for €550+. There are already three new offers since I checked yesterday evening. Wouldn't be surprised if some folks bought it cheap, knowingly how the price would increase once it goes out of stock.

This is the first time in my entire life that I had such issues, so I guess all in all it isn't too bad. By now I've already came down a bit and due to this experience, the RDR2 hype has died as well, so maybe in the end it was for the better. I'll keep an eye on the shop for a little longer, maybe the bundle will be available again for the reduced price. If not... tough luck.

Called the postal service about my package. Dude couldn't tell me much, but filled a complaint because it's way over time. My biggest fear now is to finally get the box and then it looks all trashed or something, because nobody in the warehouse gave a sheet about it for a full week. /edit: Wow, tracking says the package now left the hub. That was about 2 hours after I've called. So I guess it's going to arrive tomorrow. I'm tensed. /edit: LOL nevermind. Status now says "return initiated." I'm seriously getting pissed right now. Called the postal service again and they tell me I have to contact the sender... which is Amazon, and Amazon says I have to contact the postal service. What the **** is wrong with these people? /edit: Story continues, now it says "The consignment was delivered to the consignee via simplified company delivery from the parcel center." :D /edit: Final verdict: Package gets returned AND Amazon is out of stock AND the PS4 Pro with RDR2 now costs over 500€. I'm getting a refund of 322€. **** these people, seriously. I'm so incredibly pissed right now. /edit: This is me now:

Not yet. Think I'll wait one or so days more to see if it sorts itself. After that I'm very likely going to call 'em. Only problem with that is that it's a really crappy hotline and I do not have much hope to get through with anything. Welp, praying to the gods of delivery for now.

lol, I just checked the package tracking website again and now it suddenly says "We expect the package data shortly. Please be aware that we can't give information about the mailing until the dispatcher transmitted the data to us". The heck is going on with my ****.

I don't hate D3. It just didn't capture me at all. I've played through it and then saw no point in it anymore. The way the loot worked, etc. made it so there was no reason to keep playing. Heard they changed / fixed this years later, but now it's too late for me.

If it goes on like this, my hype will be gone once the package arrives. Madness.

To be honest, I don't even want a Diablo 4. :D The experience with Diablo 3 left me so cold, I still feel completely out-diablo'd.

My package was supposed to arrive today between 8 and 11 o clock... Of course didn't worked out. It's the second time they gave me a date and then failed to deliver on it. Getting a bit annoyed at this point.

And fetch-quests have always been crappy, no matter since when they existed. It's the laziest quests possible, and if a game offers me more than one or two of 'em, I will feel highly offended and insulted. They just aren't fun, and if developers are using them as a filler for their games world, it is even worse. Yes, I'm looking at you, Fallout 4.

Most open world games are pretty crappy. By now, always when I read open world, I'm all like, ugh, not again... IMO there's rarely any open world game that does the open world part good. Just giving me a crapton of repetitive collectible "quests" is not good gameplay. Random fetch-quests is not good gameplay, watching pretty landscapes is not good gameplay, and fighting random mobs every 10 meters is not good gameplay either.

I just watched Mandy and it was awesome. Starts rather slow, but the colors and everything is just perfect. Best Nic Cage movie in years.

Ugh, my PS4 still ain't here. Amazon first said friday, but the postal service said tuesday. Based on tracking, the package really did land at the hub nearby on the night of monday to tuesday, but for some reason they didn't delivered it yet. 4 days later and the status hasn't changed. Amazon now says delivery between 2. and 7.11. ... Sucks, especially because the hub is barely 1.5km away from me. Now I'm not sure if something happened to the package, or if they are already overloaded due to christmas next month. If it's the later, then it will be impossible to order anything big next month and expecting it to arrive in time.

Well, simulation games are a thing, I don't see a problem here. It's just that not every game needs to go this way.

Wow, I thought this stopped, but apparently it still goes on. I have to head back to the codex and see what I've missed in the past weeks / months! Bit funny how MCA tried to stir up stuff for a while but then absolutely nothing came out of any of this, because - I guess - in the end, everyone feels like this is just drunk rambling.
