Actually that planet with the rift was caused by a glancing shot from some uber railgun, think that shot also killed the reaper in ME2. Still though, Reapers have some odd strategies.

Heh, throwing out papers and assorted junk got me recalling the procedure we went through when leaving home for Canada. Just got all private papers, assorted wooden furniture and other stuff and piled it up on the big asphalt area in front of the house, lit a torch and just burned it all up. Finished cleaning up, now off to a friends for dinner, will get an authentic lasagna, woo.
