  1. A very good question. But fair enough, just curious as usually 'foreign' fans (to the country of the league) back successful clubs. Still don't know why the morons in this city keep forking out cash to watch an ineffective product. "Leafs nation", *snort*.
  2. Don't they pay YOU to play Alpha Protocol yet ?
  3. Wait, why in the name of all that is holy do you root for Toronto, mkreku ?
  4. So inconclusive then. Still that whole trick worked and they got sales. Did also find it funny that a group cracked it 2 hours after they put that up. The Scene provides I guess
  5. Watching a lot of bitter fans celebrating Barcelona losing (mainly teams they've beaten in the past and Chelsea pansies still sore about 2009 )
  6. One of the reasons I never became particularly good at Civ was that I tended to do that kind of thing out of spite rather than through strategic thinking. But still satisfying nonetheless. If I didn't have the world under my thumb I'd be charged with war crimes. ALL the war crimes. It's something I occasionally forget to do. I seem to have broken the AI though, I have two giant armies of Chinese bottled up in two cities, which means I have to keep three of mine there to watch them. But they're not moving against me, weird. So much easier with gunships, although easily countered directly.
  7. Maybe that ?
  8. Picked up an old Civ 4 game. Apparently I left off with the East pretty much burning, rather impressed what good a job I did destroying enemy farms, roads, windmills and mines.
  9. Well, he has part one down - post photos. As for community, well he posted. Not his fault you can't guess the place Also, I think it is Massandra Palace http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massandra
  10. Hmm, good point. I just assumed there'd be a fair amount of writing. Do wonder how suitable blood is for ink though. Probably someone has wrote about this online, will have to track that down.
  11. Well only needs all that new stuff if it's not making money, no ? And they're still making a good amount of that with things as they are, unless I'm mistaken. I'm not disagreeing with you on the ideal of people being creative and trying new kinds of games (even stuff like Journey). I might be jaded in assuming with more memory and CPU that developers will be lazier in their approach and just pump up the polish. Regardless, not exactly sure we're in the Kickstarter promised land or whatever BruceVC is predicting.
  12. You are needlessly optimistic. It's an industry, after all.
  13. Meh, they'll just make it look shinier.
  14. Reddited so probably dead due to the load. The game does seem to call home and "you can use it on up to three of your computers for your own use", hmm. Looking at the screenshots he put of the torrent, he also did a pretty crap job of dressing it up as a scene release
  15. I'm sure his apology really counted for much, heh.
  16. Sob stories work! Hope it's worth that price for you, though.
  17. Read that on PCGamer, that site is down at the moment - http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/04/29/indie-development-sim-game-dev-tycoon-gives-pirates-a-taste-of-their-own-torrenting/ Not really going to work if the people actually crack the game though. But makes for good PR, I suppose. Mirror of the dev's posting
  18. Wasn't he missing since Mar 15 ? Probably unrelated to Reddit's wannabe SIGINT people
  19. Or you could have woken up to stuff written on the wall with your blood. But then you'd be dead in that case so you wouldn't wake up.
  20. Strange, strange people.
  21. Trailer from the fanfest this year.
  22. I'd expect that of you.
  23. Doubt they really care, I'd imagine. Bunch of people that sneer anyway, sneer again. Wonder how much of a 'thing' it is, anyway, like the parachutes for workers after 9/11 - I don't believe that really went widespread. But Guardian needs ammo.
  24. Pet elk ? I doubt they would care all that much. I just find outrage online amusing most of the time.
  25. Ah, there was the indignation I was seeking.
