  1. Seems like same old. News was characterized it as "concerning" though. Not sure why, would be a glorious and easy victory for NATO.
  2. https://www.gamepressure.com/newsroom/blizzard-reveals-how-much-money-players-spent-on-microtransaction/z1726b D4 made more than a billion, about 150MM in MTX.
  3. Therein lies the answer to the question at hand.
  4. I still wonder who Trump thinks Abdul was. As always, it is fun to read a transcript of Trump
  5. Just surreal seeing something like this in a US Presidential debate, even after the third time around
  6. Amused that WoW is having a lot of things for solo players to do. Eventually we'll be able to do raids with AI raid members, honestly might be an improvement over LFG. The amusement is mostly due to people moaning about that existing in parallel with the "normal" way. Nice for me, as I get interrupted by family routinely
  7. Seems to be true this time, looks like the US may allow Ukraine to use ATACMS in Russia. The missiles they are supposedly getting don't seem all that scary, Iranian GMLRS it seems.
  8. You know there's a lull in the war when how an F-16 got destroyed is in focus. Also,Iran finally sent their ballistic missiles apparently https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-09-06/iran-sends-russia-ballistic-missiles-despite-us-eu-warnings
  9. I have been using them since 2005 or so, so I also agree. Maybe tonight I'll dream I make the exciting journey to Circle K to get a Sprite.
  10. New WoW expansion is fun, finished the campaign. No one ever really dies for shame. The side quests are pretty good though, decent world building in them. Will do some activities to grind, mainly the dragon races and I guess will finish the storylines. Will be nice to level a DPS alt though, being able to kill stuff is always nice, heh.
  11. My dreams have hit a low point, was trying to take some 16:10 monitors some company was throwing out as they went out of business. But the janitor beat me to it.
  12. Well, again was a facetious remark. Oh well. I suppose it could have a chilling effect so to speak on speech, but from your other article seems Brazilians are adapting and using the multitude of other social media apps, including some not run by a manchild.
  13. Sympathies Was in that boat 6 years ago almost with one of ours.
  14. Putting aside a facetious remark, it's also because the site is just garbage and cancerous to thought. And isn't the sole representation of free speech.
  15. Might have sacked him for a lot of other things and this was the last straw, or at least I hope so and they're not so knee jerk. Maybe he was the guy that called the Australian Hornets "flying trash". Guess we'll never know though, doubt anyone will bother to ask anything.
  16. https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/aug/30/ukraine-russian-advances-pokrovsk-kursk Tatarigami back on the rage path, hah.
  17. Getting rid of Twitter would make the world nicer.
  18. Looks very clean at least, the idea makes me uncomfortable
  19. Annual air show starting, always tempted to go but then I realize it's the same ****ing jets every year and crowded like literally everything else in this city. At least I'll get to amuse myself reading the annual debates - air shows are bad as they traumatize pets, refugees versus the pro arguments of it's fun, appreciate engineering (this one is hilarious) or the brave aerospace companies that defend our freedom (even funnier). Sadly they practice on other side of city, our first year in the new house saw the Blue Angels go over our house, a formation of 5 going slow and remarkably low - must have been maybe 2000 ft
  20. Well at least he realized war is traumatic, imagine that.
