I thought we were on about people who like playing older games as they see them as better, not people complaining about games not being optimized for hardware from 2000. Latter isn't nostalgia at all. They aren't holding anyone back, not even themselves if a modern game isn't engaging enough to compel them to spend money on upgrading. It's entertainment, not essential.
