  1. Hard for an adventure game to age poorly, I guess the text parser ones may be more so than others but that's just the users being lazy even some 3D ones have aged ok for me. Actually, no, forgot games that can get into an unwinnable state, those have not aged well.
  2. True, when I read unite I had pictured voluntarily joining the nation rather than the US deciding to become the Third Rome
  3. Well Russia is getting it done, bit of a surprise to see Egypt buckle like this.
  4. Well true, but regardless of the outcome had always thought it was the case of evil corporate types robbing him of his baby rather than him more or less dying by the sword he wielded. Was funny to read EA being born as a dev focused company, too
  5. Reading Hackers, realizing Ken Williams was a bit of a ****, don't feel as badly for Sierra being taken from him. Also RMS is as extreme as I thought
  6. https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/evk7ak/game-developers-dump-redshell-tracking-program-after-privacy-backlash Seems like something people shouldn't be too surprised at.
  7. Sounds like he had a good tour . https://www.armytimes.com/news/your-army/2018/06/19/commie-cadet-sends-vulgar-message-on-his-way-out-of-the-army/
  8. Almost Arsenal-esque play there
  9. https://www.gog.com/news/release_escape_from_monkey_island Escape from Monkey Island is added. Not sure who asked for this...
  10. Should have been more subtle about it. Wonder what enemies Rubio is referring to, Cuba I am guessing.
  11. Sorry if I am coming across as rude. It being funny is one thing aside from the rest...
  12. Well, as you said aggression is a term, and plenty of people are aggressive without being violent, didn't say I was refuting anyting you linked. And was trying to explain TN's joke to you a second time, thought it was pretty clear what he was getting at, so not much more to it.
  13. Thought he was referencing people who bring up masculinity and violence when there's a school shooting and people respond with "well, not all men.." as a parry. But really, women can enjoy killing as much as men, so a female marine being the Doom protagonist still works. And again, the basis is some marine taking on Hell solo for some reason, so realism's out the window and on fire at this point,no ?
  14. I dunno, they seemed pretty even with Japan for most of the match.
  15. Well, that was the joke, people bring it up when some dude lights up his school, etc. Aggression isn't violence necessarily, anyway, people certainly need to find healthier outlets for it based on commuters' behaviour
  16. Wonder what government system it would have, I guess we'd probably stick with the US system and end up with the US portion dominating the rest of the country. One good thing, you can send all the wannabe soldier cops down to Mexico to fight the cartels
  17. Colombia with a sneaky free kick there. Well also some dodgy refereeing there.
  18. Sisters of Battle prove that isn't a solely a masculine trait though. Chainsaw weapons are for everyone
  19. That too, I mainly get frustrated with ER Lasers as Kamea mounts two of them I have to turn off in almost all cases so is a frustration. Not as much as the BS I had in the last mission I played where I have to walk into a zone with my lance only to be surrounded by 6 mechs that come ex nihilo.
  20. I guess people will identify with any game protagonist.
  21. Well good I might actually use the damn things then.
  22. Trump. Funnily enough Landon Donovan is in some drama as he's in some ad to back Mexico and many Americans feel he's not taking the Rivalry seriously. More proof sports fans are ****ing idiots some times, I guess.
  23. All of this makes me want to see a Deus Ex movie, so I can enjoy the raging over it.
  24. Also - http://www.thefalse9.com/2016/04/dinamo-red-star-boban-riot.html - though probably not as primary a cause as made out
