But-but... why would you go through K2 and not use the restoration mod? I understand the quality of some of the stuff added by mods is uneven (M4-78), but TSLRCM is pretty much a must. Otherwise, from the moment you step on Malachor, it's placeholder-quality content. You doing some sort of penance? Installed it out of boredom and due to a friend talking about Kreia, I remembered there was a restoration mod about half way through the game so decided to just wade on. Maybe will try it with the mod in another run. Only played this through twice in all these years, anyway.

Into KOTOR 2's jarring as hell ending. Probably should have gone with the restoration mod, I suppose. Oh well, will force myself to grind through that. My build still sucks, Nihilus wrecked me - all my shields and boosts were wiped by the cutscene - having him shot to death by Canderous was funny though.

Or that's just what you want to think. Still have to replay D2 to see this amazing story people are telling me it had. Found it about the same level of interesting as D3's, at least from memory.

Even after all these years, I never learned the proper use of most of those Force powers. It's why even when I played as a super good Lightside character, I still spammed Force lightning. In my defense I have never read the manual, maybe that'll help explain things. Game is way more buggy than the last time I played, have had at least 10 instances that force me to kill the .exe

But people are different. Ive grinded for an item in WoW longer than RDR2 has been released. In my case I didn't mind, in the RDR2 case there are already complainers. I do not think its possible to strike a perfect balance as someone, somewhere, will always be butthurt over any matter. It definitely is, but as some others have said, you see naked examples of the developer incentivizing you to take the shortcut. GTA Online is like that, sure you get 750k free as a gift but you can't afford things to get content as you need a high level apartment, bunker, nightclub, etc. and those all need large amounts of money - and you do a heist likely with 3 monkeys to get 150 k or some relative pittance. Though really, nothing wrong with it in any case, just trying to explain the distinction in my mind.
