  1. Pretty much just went through unplayed things in my library Surviving Mars - this was great fun, although I have a game breaking bug they've supposedly fixed. Even playing as lazy I was was rewarding, there's more micro to do to squeeze efficiency out. Arma 3 - enjoyed the SP campaign, although got lazy and cheated my way to resolve the story. Probably a much better experience than people who played on release given the amount of years and patches. Offworld Trading Company - Another one I enjoyed but didn't hold my time too well, but might just be me. Economic warfare is a nice idea and change though. Deponia series - This was so so, hateful protagonist but the story was not too stupid, didn't laugh once in all the three games I played but the puzzles were acceptable. Disco Elysium - Maybe game I had the most fun in all year, didn't think it would catch me but was a happy surprise. Planet Coaster - Not much to say on this, I guess I just find it okay. I have no eye for designing pretty parks so I end up making stuff that meets mission requirements Cyberpunk 2077 - Only new game I've played I believe, found this enjoyable, at least enough to hit an acceptable dollars spent to hours played ratio. Do feel the draw to play it after I've done the story, so the game can't be too bad. Either that or WoW has trained me to like Skinner boxes... Shadowlands - This has been enjoyable, Cyberpunk's sort of jarred my progress through the story so I am a bit behind the curve which is a bit annoying. Torghast was not a good idea on their part, most chore like experience in the whole expansion or the entire game recently.
  2. https://www.gog.com/game/brigador_deluxe_edition Brigador Deluxe giveaway, not a terrible game is sort of fun to blow stuff up but gets old quickly, so well worth nothing.
  3. Not necessarily, your work is not your company's and projects are massive. Way late on this and speaking of people working at "bad" companies in the 90s but the creator of DirectX died - https://venturebeat.com/2020/12/07/friends-remember-microsoft-renegade-eric-engstrom-who-suggested-a-directx-console/
  4. Still struggling to get up on time for work, new year's resolution will be that. Guess I need to start shifting alarms around to surprise myself.
  5. Felt sort of silly to see him not dead though, 3 guys blasting at him from near point blank. Well at least I can get the hateful Devil ending.
  6. Saved Takemura, huzzah, Now to re-finish the game.
  7. Parody metal is better than metal these days
  8. Misread Riots as Rotis. Thought we were dealing with a food snob here.
  9. Try as I might I can't not have one in my PC. I guess I will really need to access that DVD of DBZ episodes I burned in 2009. Some day. Sound card as well, but that is more defensible.
  10. Actually, they'll probably make a series about it. Looks like everyone else is getting one anyway.
  11. Well, yes, assuming they've not been laid off, they are actively trying to leave their "bad" company. But as for why people would seek a job at a company with a "bad" reputation - people need money and experience so often you have to take what you can get rather than waiting for an ideal post. Wouldn't think it would mean they are stupid or anything. In any case the CDPR complaints seem pretty typical for software companies, management rushing things, etc. . Always interesting to note how large the scope of projects are, that people can be deceived by management as to the state of them. At least compared to one old workplace management is not run under omerta, so they have that going for them
  12. Okay, odd hiring practice to me to hold that against a worker especially as if they're interviewing with you odds are they are trying to leave anyway.
  13. I guess, a lot of what makes their employer is out of their hands though.
  14. For the rank workers though, would their reputation really be hurt by this ?
  15. People still work at Bethesda and EA right ?
  16. Nah, always get more down during Christmas, not sure. Maybe I miss the mental trauma of exams at school
  17. Ahh ok. Hm, ok, 60€ is too much to reward a company for shipping a janky product. Who does CDPR think they are, JoWood ?!
  18. Well if you're buying it for spite, does it really matter if you can play it? Just give CDPR your money Eh, it's how it goes. Everyone's very binary in their approach or seems to be - the game is a moving masterpiece, etc. or it's total dreck that does not work. Well, at least one good thing from this is maybe people will tone their affection for CDPR down to realistic levels. Also, you are blocked for disrespecting Blade Runner.
  19. Did the Arasaka ending, that was pretty grim. Didn't get the achievement for it, strange. EDIT - Ah, it is linked to Takemura 53 hours spent on it. Feels like I have done everything I would have wanted to, the gigs seem repetitive to do and only side jobs I have left are the boxing ones. I did like the one that has you chasing routers of someone spewing philosophical BS
  20. Ah ok, could have sworn I chose properly there. Guess I have a whole lot of stuff to replay, hah.
  21. Cyberpunk is down, I still feel drawn to knock off the side jobs. My friend is still playing, so that keeps it in my mind. Should go finish Secret Files, am in Ireland now, trying to get some dude out of a well. Odd puzzles here
  22. Usual Christmas blues starting up, so that is fun. Christmas week is always an interesting week at work, either has disasters or whole lot of nothing. Hoping is latter, but hope is the first step towards disappointment
  23. Well, city is not fully realized, there are a lot of people who've complained about it. But it's serviceable. Oddly enough one thing I was disappointed with was the soundtrack, only the credits song and V's theme caught me. That Pain song on the radio though was great I understand people being upset as they were told it would run on their console and it not actually doing so. But eh, it's people hating on a corporation, should not bother anyone Was hoping to get the secret ending but looks like I didn't bond with Keanu enough. Probably too low level anyway, my mage would struggle in the Matrix Lobby shootout, anyway.
