Deus Ex 3
Fair point, my mistake. So I guess he does have something to be all angsty about, course he could just go with the hate and destroy those that took his arms with those sweet mechanical arms they gave him. It's like irony, man.

Deus Ex 3
True enough, emotions are a silly thing sometimes, heh, guess looking at it too rationally. Hopefully he doesn't end up whining too much about it though.

Deus Ex 3
At the point he has no arms, so that sucks yes but getting mechanical prostheses is still a good thing as it's better than the only alternative. Also Caliban's point seemed to be more along the lines of being able to dispense death easily in CQC and punch through walls is kind of a cool thing to have.

Deus Ex 3
It's not ideal, but it's still pretty good as at that point it's binary.

What you did today
No addons, and my machine 'appears' to be clean. My password really was a joke, any disappointment I have over my stuff is tempered by my anger at my idiocy. 4 character dictionary word ?! Grah!

What you did today
Well I got the ISK back, but guy sold off all my BS's. While annoying, still have the funds to replace the two I need for mission running. And besides, it'll be fun to work my way up again. Put a query in about getting my ships back - sans equipment - (the transaction log pretty shows what he/she sold), but doubt they will. Serves me right for using such a weak password though.

Deus Ex 3
That's the tragic aspect, duh.

What you did today
EVE Online account got hacked, so rather than working I'm trying to figure out how I can log on from here to see what damage was done. Looks like he sold most of my ships, hmph.

BioWare's New Game
Wasn't that ME2 ?

Deus Ex 3
See, man, that's hardcore.

Where's the downside ?

Deus Ex 3
What's wrong with being bitter?

Deus Ex 3
That's some deep symbology, man. Maybe Jensen's last line will be "Welcome to the human race". Funnily enough, I must be dull as all I took from the Icarus story was "RTFM".

FO: NV (General Discussion)
Eh doubt they'll win, against SC2 and ME2. Feel sorry for Sawyer et al. though, having to show up for the thing.

Deus Ex 3
The CamelBak folk will make a killing. The, uh, transhumanist stuff in the game should be pretty amusing.

The Wikileaks debate continues
I really can't see them doing that, other than tightening everything up ridiculously, hopefully where some emo Pfc can't grab it all. As for Wikileaks having an axe to grind against the US, maybe, Daniel Domscheit-Berg left Wikileaks in September 2010 after a spat with Assange over the seeming focus on the US. I wonder how the Russians will respond to any leaks about them.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
Well that's so cheesy it must be real. Woo, free Zerg. Hm, so now that they're getting the Horde treatment, maybe WoS ? Heh.

Deus Ex 3
Aww, he just wants to feel again. "I shoot/stab/slice people, because it's the only thing that makes me feel alive." Drama confirmed. Shame it's not Christian Bale doing the character, then.

What are you playing now
Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. Nothing like fighting with a high unit count on a huge map, get a proper sense of scale in an RTS finally. Dig the music too, but TA's still seems superior to it.

Deus Ex 3
By that time he's outside UNATCO, they seem to use him for Advanced kicking in doors, mostly. I did agree that this is just power creep for playing's sake, but is just amusing to look at. The world does make sense though, apparently this is some pre-(insert bad stuff) Golden Age. Actually, easy way is just to have them lose the tech to make them like Jensen.

The Cataclysm is coming!
Heh, well sucks for you.

The Cataclysm is coming!
Wait, maybe until January or so. Things will smooth out, the game will be better as levelling zones won't be crowded (gankers around but eh) and instances will be well documented. Also, could just go get a physical copy.

The Wikileaks debate continues
Hmm, I dunno about that to be honest with you. This isn't going to hail some utopian era where diplomacy is all done out in the open and deals aren't made with bad people. It may agitate people a lot, but eventually I can see governments just marking more stuff as Top Secret.

The Wikileaks debate continues
Pretty much, this guy might end up like Gerald Bull at this rate, heh.
