  3. I think they're both talented, but I'm not much for star wars or sci-fi audio. I like the classic medieval fantasy tunes. Though, Jeremy Soule's IWD soundtrack was flippin' amazing.
  4. New parts came in the other day - Shadow Conspiracy Interlock Chain 02 - SNAFU C-Lever brake lever - SNAFU Lower Astroglide dual cable I can finally finish my gyro setup and have dialed in brakes; after five years riding brakeless I'm surprised I learned fufanus, abubucas, and relearned all my tailtap variations so quickly. Took about two riding sessions to learn them fairly consistantly. Hopefully I can get out riding more. My riding friend is back in town today, so hopefully he still rides and we can get back to progressing instead of increasing our fat cell count. The interlock chain is flippin' awesome. Instead of having the inner and outter plates on a chain and having to remove two links to size a chain, shadow used their heads. It uses half-links, or links that taper out and act like two links in one. Oh... and it's one of the strongest chains on the market.
  5. L1nVx: try playing online with your friend via Gamespy. That eliminates a lot of issues, especially if you're new to IE mutliplayer. Also, are you behind a router or firewall that you know of?
  6. Oh... I thought that was the "who do I want to ban" vote... no wonder why there wasn't a "all of the above" option. :-p
  7. Yes, what SamuraiGaijin said. That's what I had to do.
  8. Aye, thanks for taking the initative. I'll be installing these once it's 100% complete so I don't have to start over 89324792374023840123848213749827 times.
  9. I'm doing this off the top of my head, so I may be off a bit. 1) Make sure you have the nodes(?) the same in the config program as well as anything else needed for mutliplayer enabled. Also make sure you're running the EXACT same version and mods. 2) Get your IP address and share it with the person(s) you are going to play with. 3) Launch IWD and select multiplayer & host it. - The joining players will select join and put in your IP address. 4) Create your character(s) whilst waiting patiently for the players to join and they make their characters. 5) Launch game. When I get home I'll review this to make sure it's correct, and if you have any problems; my contact information is right here.
  10. I reinstalled it to try a forum members MOD. I suppose I should actually go through the game this time.
  11. I don't really consider WoW in the same way as a single player game. It's a social experience for me, simply a nice looking place where I can chat with my friends. Also, when I complete a quest, or get a cool item, or reach a new level in a MMORPG there is a different sense of accomplishment. It's hard to explain, but I think it's because I can socially share those accomplishments within the actual game world. In a single player game I don't get that same feeling when I level or get a cool item. I only get that sense of accomplishment when I push the story forward, but if I feel like the story has stalled or it's just taking too long, I have the habit of giving up. I also don't have many friends to discuss these games with except online, and my wife definitely is tired of hearing about my quests to save the universe, so the story really needs to absorb me to keep me interested. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fair enough, and excellent answer. I am un-confused.
  12. Coming from someone who has his XFIRE logged with many many WoW hours; please explain. I'm confused.
  13. As impressive the IE engine was for 2D of its time, and a huge fan of 2D I am, I'd probably not buy it if it was 2D... IE or not. I'd like to purchase a game that has a very magnetic storyline. Yet, after that, I'd like to log online, download some mods and hit up a persistant world server. Either that, or the 2D engine would need more sprites. I don't want my halfling to be the dwarf and gnome sprite without the beard, multiple animations for everything. It may take a lot of time, but your level one party will actually look like they're progressing as they roll low on the first group of rats or goblins.
  14. Rapekissing Jesus by Remembering Never Off of "She Looks So Good In Red" I will never sleep again until I rest in pieces I place the blame solely on your hands for no reason or a purpose I'm plagued with endless callousness just one sacrifice can't justify the raping of my life you've cut my wrists you've done the dirty work for me you've taken it all you've taken everything my tears have burned clean dry and sear holes in my flesh I want to leave this place I have nothing left cut my throat one thousand times to be with her once more when all was said and done you killed two birds with one stone no more perfect memories no more f***ing tears no more memories my own tears will be thoughts of you and your perfection the sound of her voice is comfort to my ears I've got one bullet and the barrel aimed at your heart I'm killing you like you've killed me cut my throat one thousand times empty salt through your hands to make you feel like me my last wish to see your dead f***ing body
  15. I agree. Though, if you guys are counting on an official patch... it's right behind the Media patch. I'd help a MOD team as much as I could for an unofficial patch.
  16. 1) I haven't heard of or experienced it myself. Have you tried starting a new game and seeing of that helps. Or save your game and back up the save and reinstall? it's tedious, but often works with many may games.
  17. As I Lay Dying - Control is Dead ... just switched to Darkest Hour - Accessible Losses
  18. Not a fan at all of the Post-Apocalyptic setting. Unless I'm watching the movie "Six String Samurai." Though, I have played the FA series. I'm more of a swords and dragons kind of guy.
  19. I like to limit myself by putting descriptions infront of it. I am simply less than your average Joe. I may be less than, but I'm not desperate for cash.
