Probably a few, but I'd like to keep it to 2 or 3. If it becomes a bit popular, perhaps it could be a weekly thing, or even go to a different game and have Obsidian WAN parties.
I was curious if anyone would want to run through DooM 3 and/or Resurrection of Evil in cooperative mode. The only requirements are you own a legal copy, you have one or both patched to 1.3, you have Last Man Standing. I know it's not a favored game but, I work with what I've got.

That's what I'm running right now. A lot of people are saying games don't run faster on Linux. Some people they do, some they don't I guess. It's kind of hard not to notice a smooth 60 fps in DooM 3 compared to XP's 25-60 choppiness. NWN is a bit random just because of the engine, though.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the newer UT games DX based? They all have native Linux clients from what I've been reading.
Anyway, thank you for the signs. Even just pointing out that people have an interest in mutliplatform support these days is a step forward. I'd like to seen Microsoft at least have a run for their money in PC gaming. I like the XBOX and all, but when it comes to PCs - Meh.

I'll make it short and sweet: Post there to express interest (if you're even interested) in Neverwinter Nights 2 Mac/Unix/Linux ports.
Why is this important? A lot of the current NWN servers are run on Linux. I, myself, and transitioning to pure Linux for personal reasons and would like to see it.
How about you?
[insert begging here with promise of asexual favors]
Note: From what I understand the OE guys are fancying the idea but it's Atari's call. Even some of the Atari staff are putting their support in for it.
It was a bad install. One of the main GUI buttons didn't install right. That's what I get for multitasking.
Edit: Funny, the 1.06 patch corrupts my game no matter where I download it from.
Deciding I wanted to make some Obsidian Ent. backgrounds for my computer, I emulated the origianl ObsEnt logo and decided I would share it with others that wished it. It's pretty big in size and is a transparent PNG so it should accomadate all your needs.
Patched, yes. My stats are in my sig. I uninstalled / reinstalled and it works fine w/ just the core game. Edit: Except I'm in Windows XP until I get my Linux harddrive replaced (fried: Good ol' Texas lightnin')
I liked all of the D&D IE games. I could play them and liked it. Something the community had to do for me for NWN. -.-
Edit: Ack! Icewind Dale is only playable in 640x480?
I lost my OST CD so I decided to use the TeamBG tool that extracts the audio files into .wavs. The problem is, the songs are broken up to about fifty (literally) files. Some songs have mutiple starts and ends for randomness in the game.
I quick found a program that I had that enabled mass selection and import. It doesn't always have them in alpha-numeric order either. So I get to play with it. Then I get to save it to 320kbps Vorbis. All in all this takes about 15-20 minutes per track.
At this point in time I wish three things:
1) I didn't lose my OST disc.
2) The Interplay site w/ the tracks to download was still up.
3) It was legally aquirable by other simple means via P2P. (I checked, it's impossible to find anyway)
This is really starting to piss me off.
Ooo, I should install IWD. I've yet to make it through that one. Same with BG & BGII... Heh, odd.
Edit: Why in Hell don't we have the DVD collectors edition in the US?!
Must be the Texas stupidity wearing off on me.
Anyway, What Amazon.com advertises and what other stores sell are fairly accurate. But their actually stock is highly more expanded than a standard retail store. That includes the retail store's online site as well. They may have a little more but it's not something I'd count on - ever.
It held my interest. Only because I was bored at the time, though. Never did beat the game. I think I spent more time playing the Minigames when I unlocked them.
Gauntlet, DooM, Fatal Fury. After Fatal Fury I got into Street Fighter, Samurai Showdown, King of Fighters. Wasn't until Gauntlet: Dark Legacy taht I played Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance. Then got into The PC series and worked backwards.
