Oh, come on. Even if there intent was to be disruptive, it shouldn't have been an issue. FFS, how can anyone be offended by an american flag in america? This is thoroughly ridiculous. And 200 people marched with mexican flags in response? Honestly, it's not like the two nations are at war. Grow up.

Then have them remove the bandannas. That doesn't involve turning your t-shirt inside out.

People don't see what they don't want to. Come on! They are obviously not the same, people can say that an elephant looks like a rabbit all they want but it doesn't make it so. But association with ME can garner the support of ME fans. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad one, I mean can you imagine a massive migration from the Bioboards. All of them fans bitching about romances and how they expected it to go this or that way, or asking why Sis wasn't romanceable. :ugh: To be fair, a quick search of "Alpha Protocol" (read first page of first thread that popped up) on the BioWare forums returned pretty much nothing but positive posts. And not a single "DURR HURR GRAPHICS LOOK BAD" comment. I'd rather the forum become flooded by ME fanboys than average mainstream gamers, to be honest, though personally I rather like the small forum community we have now.

Yet again, website has been redesigned. http://www.sega.com/alphaprotocol/us/main.php It plays some of the game's music on the various pages, which sounds really good. Oh, and apparently they already have some reviews:

Just saw an ad for AP while watching Zero Punctuation. Finally, some advertising!

This wasn't an exclusive Cinco de Mayo celebration, this was a school.
-
I HIGHLY doubt that. And anyone who did would be excoriated in the press. Showing contept, disrespect, hatred to the US and it's history and culture is cool and hip. Asking someone to not do it on a day of celebration is racist and intolerant. Or so they say. Wearing a Mexican flag on Veteran's day isn't disrespecting the US. Nor is wearing an American flag on the 5th of May disrespecting Mexico. Grow up, people, this is (or should be) such a ****ing nonissue.
-
Even if they wore it to be confrontational, if they weren't actively harassing Mexican students then there is no reason to do anything about it. It's an American flag. So what? People really are too easily offended.
-
Probably more of a counterpoint to the Fourth of July. I suppose in theory the reasoning behind it is that white americans would celebrate the 4th and talk down to the minorities. So different minorities started to make their own holidays with cinco de mayo etc starting to be celebrated. IIRC Cinco De Mayo is celebrating the ability of the Mexican Army beating the bejesus out of a spanish invasion fleet. Honestly this whole situation sounds almost like a group of kids at a catholic school decided to walk in wearing the star of david and talking in yiddish. No, because that's implying that the norm at the school is for an American flag to be offensive. I still don't see how it's that offensive even in the context of a Mexican holiday, though. They're not really doing anything to ruin your celebration. I see no reason why any reasonable person would be offended.
-
Sure, the kids may have done it for the purpose of getting a reaction, but honestly it's such a small thing that they shouldn't have gotten a reaction. Anyone who gives them a reaction is actively looking for things at which to be offended.
-
Look, this is ridiculous. If people are thin-skinned enough to take offense at someone wearing an American flag at a school in America simply because it's on a Mexican holiday, something is wrong. Being proud of your heritage is one thing, and this is something quite different. It's not as if they were wearing shirts that said "**** Mexicans." And this is equally ridiculous.

Gamesradar too is having a 'AP week'

Subject Zero is a woman who grew up being tortured as part of a science experiment. She's a complete psychopath. The voice acting for her is superb. She's the tatooed one, right? I don't remember if I ever heard her voice acting though. I'll buy ME2 sooner or later (I'm not totally convinced by their 'streamlining' but the consensus seems to be that the combat is fun and that the missions are varied enough..), though it's not exactly a priority right now. I enjoyed the first one, even with all its flaws. Go ahead and buy it. Yeah, the inventory and character building systems were gutted, but it's still a fun shooter with a great story and a few RPG mechanics. -

Oh boy. Subject Zero as a news reporter? This'll be interesting. Regardless, she's a talented voice actor. -
Something i need from the developers.

The ranges at which you'd be using it make an assault rifle a much more practical choice. -

Cyborgs don't have blood. He didn't say it was his blood he sacrificed... Ah, I hadn't thought of that. -

That's still pretty freaking sad. Why? Sniper rifles as a main weapon would just be silly. What kind of spy infiltrates an enemy compound running around with a giant rifle on his back? Assault rifles are pushing it, to be honest. You really lose the feeling of being a badass sniper when you're using it like a slow-firing assault rifle at 100 yards, anyway, which is what you'd end up doing if it were a main weapon. -
http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseact...logId=533784770 Bruce Hall left Agent Steel. The replacement, however, is looking like it'll be none other than John Cyriis. ****, this will be awesome. And if you don't know about either Agent Steel or John Cyriis, you need to hear this. Now.

I'll pay for all the music I listen to when it doesn't cost such a ridiculous amount of money. $10 for 40 minutes of music is a scam.

I cannot get enough of Randy Coven.

No one has played the game yet, how would we know?

What a load of crap.

Holy ****, what?
