Never played Peggle, its supposed to be a platformer or something? Nothing wrong with those.

I'm trying to play tactical but all my mercs have only handguns (except for the MP5 on my PC) so my options are limited. I also dont understand how an enemy 11/12 tiles away can hit me with the same handgun, when my merc is lying on the ground in full (green) cover, while on the other hand my mercs cant hit them (5% chance or something). And they all have around 80 marksmanship.

Fun is completely subjective, someone might be entertained by twiddling his thumbs and watching the clouds go by. For me, watching people play FPS games on a console is like seeing a cripple, its just sad. I can't get any fun out of it since my long cultivated skill (such as it is) in FPS games, is rendered meaningless with a poor control interface. If someone can, yay for them.

One can also have fun driving a car that's lacking a wheel but that's sadly not the idea behind it.

Says the man with the magic save-load buttons. Combat is boring if its not challenging, which turns it into an irritating interlude between story events like in KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, NWN and NWN2 which in turn drags down the whole experience significantly.

I have and its downright stupid. It beats the whole point of an FPS game, which is reflex based precise mouse shooting. If that setup was any good everyone would bring a gamepad to Quake 3 and CS tournaments.

I'm also playing Jagged Alliance 2, and the game is kicking my ass.

The multiplayer of the Myth series was fantastic.

If you have a good PC I suggest you buy the PS3, since you've pretty much covered the XBOX360. Wii is junk. Give someone a motion sensing d!ldo and you can suddenly sell games that look 10 years behind the times. And make a fortune. How Nintendo pulls a size 7 rabbit out of a size 3 hat every time is beyond me.

Do not play Tragic the Bothering. i did and its a huge waste of money - to get to a deck that can kick ass you'll squander your college fees, three paychecks in advance and a piggy bank. And then they'll release the next edition. Get the new Tragic pc game, and get your fix there.

And Fable 1/2 turned out to be complete sh!t, so you essentially shot yourself in the foot since it shows that character customization has nothing to do with making a great game. For the thousandth time: developers are not obliged to follow anyone's personal likes and dislikes except their own. If you dont agree with it then dont buy their game. Choices are always limited, such an irrelevant thing as gender makes no impact on the game at all. Half of the games I played and Ive played hundreds featured female main characters, and you never heard me complain about it.

Also I should probably do a Rambo on Core/Crystal Dynamics because the ungrateful gits wont make a male Lara Croft. They have been successfully discriminating me for over a decade, and really it has to stop AND I WONT BUY ANOTHER TOMB RAIDER, EVER!

1. An NPC doesnt have to give you his sad childhood story to be compelling. 2. So what if there is a badass mercenary chick with a strong sexuality. We've been playing Tomb Raider and watching Lara's t!ts get bigger with each installment. And no one complains, they even made a movie out of it. Obsidian has made it clear what AP is from the start, an homage to semi-serious spy thrillers to which genre conventions it adheres. Anyone expecting anything else is suffering from a severe case of misplaced expectations. Which is not the fault of Obsidian.

To the OP: I recommend the Sims to you. It sounds like your type of game.

Painkiller and Fallout tactics. Painkiller is really good. Fallout Tactics is better than I remember it, the combat is quite enjoyable.

And he does it well for third person action games, shooters, and other various stuff. But as far as RPG's go he's clueless.
