Red Dead Redemption 2
I love Desperados. Keep replaying them every 2 years or so. Anyway. Yep, i'm going to spend the first 20 hours just riding around and enjoying the nature.

Wasteland 3?
They've given me 5$ off code and STASIS, so i didn't really pledge all that much. Probably as much as i'd be willing to pay for the game once it's released.

What's on the idiot box?
I called them up to cancel and they dropped me to about 100 bucks to stay I think I lost Starz in the deal so nothing of real value was lost Ash vs Evil dead ;_; hehehe, but yeah it's not worth 100$ extra.

At least Naughty dog gives you the option to change camera angle from one shoulder to the other ... and not like 95% of other games where right turn are your biggest enemy.

Woah, am i reading that right? You haven't played destiny since 2014? There should be plenty of content for you then. And before you know it you'll be using DIM or Ishtar Commander to sort out loot on 3 different characters. xD

You must be thinking of games like Ninja Gaiden series on xbox or ps 3. ps3 versions are especially time wasting with their forcefully added levels that break the flow. Dark Souls only wastes your time if you're stupid. And it doesn't require grinding at all. Just by playing normally you can collect enough souls to level up high enough to defeat any boss in the game. I mean in DS1 you can level up at every bonfire, so there really isn't any excuse to carry around a bazillions souls when you don't need to. Leave that to players who know the game by heart already. And yes Dark Souls difficult was inflated, especially by ignorant and incompetent gaming journalists/reviewers. Also DMC 3 wasn't that difficult either on normal, it was still fun on hard. Very hard and other were meant for good players anyway.

I hate FF8, hated it when it was released and i always will. PC port was utter garbage as well. FF7 i like but i couldn't replay it today. Same with FF6 or FF9, both of which i like even more. The only other FF game and the last i'd played was FF13, i didn't even bother to finish it. So as far as FF games go, only some nice memories remain but the interest in playing any is gone.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Yeah, as far as most other settings are concerned i wouldn't go for " standard" open world games. But RDR was special with it's wild west setting and amazing world they put together. I spent hours just wandering around New Austin , enjoying the beautiful scenery, just killing those random bandits, hunting, catching new horses, replaying the same events over and over. Also blackjack and poker all over the map. Then i repeated that on a lesser scale in Nuevo paraiso. Only New Elisabeth didn't quite capture my imagination. The forested areas were great ,but plains, the farm and blackwater were more meh than anything else. I had plenty of fun online as well, mostly doing coop stuff. I'll always remember the fun we had with a group of friends when we found a stagecoach and 6 of us took it for a ride around New Austin. We ran into a group of wanted players and we chased them around the map until they ended up in the fort in Nuevo Paraiso, where they started shooting at us with the cannons and all that. We prevailed in the end of course. :D The free coop missions were another great experience. Oh right, the mexican standoff to start a PVP match is the greatest thing ever, even when the actual matches were crazily unbalanced.

Ni no kuni. I liked that game so much that i put in ridiculous hours to upgrade the rarest familiar to max level, so i could trounce every challenger.
