Playing Buy a 4k monitor for use with Ps4 Pro mainly and don't spent a fortune on it. It includes the search for holy PIP/PBP, massive battles between IPS and TN dragons, a 60 hz mode challenge and of course the battle between Inches, 27 vs 32 with secret characters like 28 and others. It stars ASUS, BENQ, AOC, SAMSUNG, LG, ACER, Dell,... It's the most difficult game i've played so far.

Shadow Warrior Special Edition is FREE for limited time on humble store. If anyone would want it for some reason.
-
Did you enjoy the first game? I'm still well on the fence about this one and solo play content. Yes i did. Bungie can create proper gunplay even if it's at 30 fps. And i had a big enough group of friends for all the activities so i could play for years. We did stop a few months ago though because it felt played out. But with Destiny 2 we might just all come back again. At least they say so, even after playing the beta. :D

Tried out Destiny 2 beta. It's ok, but i wish there were other PVP modes to play instead of Control and that Plant charges/protect stations mode. That way i would have spent more time in it. Now i'll just play it if anyone invites me back in. Still buying the retail of course, that'll have the content i want.
-
You forgot to say why it's free. To celebrate the release of Sundered, the newest game from the developer Thunder Lotus.

See i'd never do that if i wanted someone to play a Souls game after only hearing about it before. I'd wait for them to try it first. Who knows, maybe they'd like if from the get go like i did and i had no idea what i was getting into with Demon's souls ( i still have my first build, it was completely broken but after 500 hours it got better. =D). Hmm i'd probably do this for all the games.

uuu snide remarks. And yeah it can, but so can everything else. It always depends on how you manage to play the game. For some people going under the graveyard at Firelink at the start was utter nightmare, while others just breezed through. Then there were many kind of people that took Master key as the gift, for some that ruined the game because it opened almost every door and they couldn't figure out where to go to not be massacred. For some it was alredy the gargolyes that made quit the game. But in the end i'll stand with my opinion that sorcery is not the best for a newcomer. But these are all just opinions at best suggestions, if they're considered or not is all up to player.

Yes yes and it's not even the unpatched encounter when it was even more aggressive. I guess these people would never make to Anor londo anyway. No, but the best sorcery builds were glass cannons, those around SL 100 even more so. Anyone using the ring of dusk would be. And before NG+ thats the only way to get a lot of best soul spells, since there's almost no item to replenish spell uses around. And to me sorcery builds are only focusing on spells ( (INT up to 50+ and ATT at 34+), so not much use of weapons or buffs. Hybrid builds that invest in DEX or STR and INT are not sorcery builds to me. What was your build anyway? And yes, if that was fine for your, you certainly did it wrong. I'd say that only in Demon's magic makes everything trivial (since you've got plenty of fast mana regen gear and of course consumables as well. Oh well. Maybe next time. There's more of them around. :D

Heh the first month Hollow Soldier Shield was the best shield in game, it was nerfed after that. But as you can see it's also 1.5 heavier than Heater and it's stability is not that much higher. Have you killed the Black Knight in the Undead burg? What did it drop ( if anything)? As for killing the merchant ... well some people actually do it because that's the fastest way to get an Uchigatana. They don't need firebombs, throwing knives or Reinforced clubs i guess, other stuff he sells can be obtained by other means i believe. Maybe not the armor, but other than me, i hadn't seen many people with chain armor. I like the headpiece. It goes very well with Knight armors.

Ugh lots of text. And pretty much yes, you can go anyway you want and still use pyromancies in DS1. But if you want easy mode then you just pump Vitality and End like i said and you'll be fine. 50 vitality gives 1500 hp so you cna take quite a lot of punishment and 40 endurance maxes out your stamina and gives you enough Maximum equip load to allow you great armor combinations even without helpful rings. And with a lot of stamina you can dodge and dodge or use a shield. So Kathphood at level 7 you really don't need to worry about messing up your character. The most action in DS happened at level 120 anyway, give or take 5 levels. And at that point you can have 50 vitality, 23 attunement, 40 endurance and 50 strength which is describing a walking tank. You don't even need magic and just use resins and pure pyromancer build. If you add the most helpful rings at that point you'll have even more HP, stamina and all that giving you an even better tank, making stuff much easier. :D Or if you really want weapon buffs you only need to level your INT up to 25 and find the right catalyst and cut everything to pieces that way. 2h Falchion was my favorite that way... but that's a DEX build weapon. So plenty of options by for the first time i wholeheartedly recommend pumping VIT and END and everything will work itself out. Just pick a stat ( or in your case stick with it) and choose weapons based on that stat, so for STR that usually means that the best benefit only from STR ( since unlike Demon's or DS3 you cannot infuse a weapon to 1 stat only ) And before i forget, don't kill the first trader :D but apart from Reinforced club ( remember to 2h it because you get 1.5STR bonus when you 2h things. That way you can use weapons that require high str much earlier and/or do more damage)you should also buy a Heater shield from him. It's my favorite shield, because it has high stats , low weight and best of all you don't have to farm anyone to get it. Of course there are more specialized shields in the game but it'll take a while to get them. As for the infamous capra demon, it's difficulty has been as much overblown as for Dark Souls itself. The point is to dodge the first blow then you can do whatever you want. Oh also try to cut tails from dragonlike enemies or gargoyles. Bow works too hint hint red wyvern on the wall hint hint. :D :D PS yes i'm saying melee is better than magic. Glass cannon builds are not for beginners anyway . edit: Oh boy, will you ever! Ever so simple to deal with as soon as you know what to do, it may be a highly frustrating experience when you meet them for the first time. I actually ran straight past them the first time I met them, but on a subsequent playthrough was not so lucky, and died way too many times. Oh come on. At that point in the game you should have your timing down. And by the second time you should have figured out the tricks anyway. And running is the best solution. ... if we're all thinking about the silver menaces and not something else entirely.

Demon's souls is a whole different game compared to Dark Souls when talking about magic and faith. So it's best to forget what you learned in Demon's and learn everything from the start. So while spells are still awesome in Dark souls, weapons with magic damage are crap because of the new resistance system that especially affected split damage weapons with magic attribute. Other than everything is similar, especially combat. So yes maces and other hammer like weapons always smashed skeletons,... They just improved/changed animations. As for pyro, yes Kathphood you're doing it wrong. You don't need INT when playing Pyro, as only thing important for pyromancies is the level of the flame. And if you're playing STR build of any kind then your best bet is not the mace but reinforced club. Better scaling, does bleed and poisebreaks everything. My favorite STR only weapons in Dark Souls was Man Serpent Greatsword ( you'll know it when you see it). Also whatever you do, do not make infuse any weapons Magic or Enchanted just use Magic Weapon type sorceries to add extra magic damage to your normal damage. If you go full STR you don't need any DEX, it's just a waste of stat points that you should invest in either Vitality ( 50 is nice to have) , Endurance ( don't ever go over 40) or Attunement ( for how many spell slots do you need). Resistance is a useless stat that you don't need to pay attention to. What else ... I recommend farming the ugliest leg armor available. Hollow Soldier Waistcloth. Very light but awesome defense for that weight. Basically all you have to do is build up poise high enough ( you'll have to find the value yourself) and then you can take tank as you will. Hmm i suppose you could also find some weapons you really like and make them Fire/Chaos ( Humanity influences damage, so you need to have 10) and Lightning.

I didn't realize you were part of that conversation. Why bother joining it when all you do is post spam? It's not like any of your posts will endear you to anyone yet you somehow feel obligated to post in EVERY thread, even if it means following your own post.

I find that a much better way to increase difficulty than the much more often used alternative of more enemies and/or enemies that have much more health (which only adds tedium, IMHO). Making combat more immediately lethal, in both directions, and making supplies harder to come by keeps tension super high as every bullet counts and you're always just a slip up or a stray bullet or two away from death. Well i want to hit what i am at. Wasn't the case many times in Stalker because of it's design. No wonder so many mods were made to try to improve the original games ...

Care to name examples? Most good shooters means nothing.
-
You think wrong. If anything is responsible for damagesponge enemies it's RPGs of all sorts. And Division wanted to be Diablo with guns not shooter and that was obvious from all the material before the release. And there was greater damage on headshots anyway, with proper weapons enemies died with one shot. Controller has absolutely nothing to do with it.

I think maybe the NOD mission where i have to steal the Orca might give me more problems. That's a sentence you'll regret in later missions :-P If i could do it at 11 i can do it at 33. :D :D Besides i still remember the important things like Engineer is the king of the battlefield. Capture and sell major enemy buildings and you'll always have enough tiberium. Enemies can't deal with walls so making choke points where hell awaits them is more than enough. Especially NOD have it easy, walls , 2 turrets and 2 flame tanks and nothing gets by. And so on.
-
Is there even a game out there that wasn't designed with damagesponge enemies?

Had an urge to play C&C and C&C Red Alert. So i booted up an old XP machine and started playing. Might be one of the few games i actually finish these days. o:)

Uncharted 4 was 2016 too, i've been playing it's mp mode since release. And Division was there was well. It shone brightly for a little while and that shouldn't be forgotten. It just had trouble staying around. If it had as much content as right now i bet it would have stayed more memorable.

Eh Elex. Awkward movement, no shoulder switcher when shooting ... Not my type of game.
-
Starting hollow knight, Hyper light drifter and Battlezone 98 redux. I wonder if i'll need a gamepad to better play the first two and if the last one is as i remember it.

Pro-Tip: Don't read youtube comments, they're almost as awful as Twitter and Tumblr. Almost. It's not like forums posts are that much of an improvement over them.

Official E3 Thread (I forged the paperwork)
Majek replied to Malcador's topic in Computer and Console
Not really my type of game, so I don't care either way, but the scuttlebutt seems to be that Destiny 2 very much got overshadowed by Anthem. Really? Because Anthem looked liked wasted resources to me. And Sony didn't even show everything they could if others had been more impressive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eirObauHR94#t=10m25s -
heh if they put all the resources from Anthem into ME:A instead, who knows how amazing it could have been.
