Well, that goes both ways. Those who can't prove God's existance but still believe in Him don't generally use their logic to believe in Global Warming. At least I'm consistent. I believe in both.

You could say that about anything that doesn't have proof. You don't have proof that God doesn't exist and I don't have proof that He does. By your logic He both exists and is nonexistant.

Now, that's just irrational. Saying China will always be the enemy, is like saying we'll always be in this solar system. Just because that's the way it is now doesn't make it the way it will always be.

Just because there was no consideration for it, doesn't make it Communist. Communism equals terrible. Terrible does not equal Communism.

Like China's government is even Communist. Not that I'm agreeing with what they did, but saying it's because of Communism is silly.

Incorrect. Greed and progress benefit a privileged minority. Tell the impoverished of Africa, Latin America and Asia that greed is good. Tell the people rotting in urban ghettos, in prisons, tell those who have lost fingers or limbs to the unstoppable machine of institutional greed, that their sacrifices were necessary. I would rather have stagnation than to leave the world as unequal a place (or moreso) as I entered it. Perhaps you didn't read that whole "can be better" part. It's not always and not for everybody. Unfortunately, I can't solve poverty and world hunger. Perhaps you don't understand, but neither can communism. There are limited amounts of resources and money. Even if you could allocate the resources evenly (which you can't) nobody would have enough to live on.

I edited it because going past necessity isn't greed. It's when you go to the point of needing more when you're grandchildren are already set for life that it gets greedy.

I wouldn't say that the pursuit of individual needs is greed. It's just making sure you're taken care of. It can go to the point of greed, but it doesn't have to. Greed is the wanting of more past the point of neccesity and luxury.

It's been said before and it will be said again. Greed is NOT necessarily evil. It can be better to have greed and progress than generosity and stagnation. It's when greed and stagnation occur at the same time that problems come about.

I recently tried to play the Witcher but my laptop isn't cool enough for it, and my desktop is 10 years old.

It seems to me that it's not so much guaranteeing it to everyone, as it's forcing the expenses on those who either don't want it or can't afford it.

The bill that's in the Senate right now, doesn't socialize anything as far as I can tell. It just forces people to buy private insurance.

That's why we need to have more power for state government and less at the federal level. The states would be able to do things the federal government can only screw up.

Generational wealth is literally the Worst Thing. No. Hell no. I'm an inheritor; my grandfather left me an obscene sum, and my grandmother will leave me even more. That doesn't make me any less motivated to contribute; if anything, it makes me more motivated, because I feel obligated to increase the family fortune. Why is that bad? So wait, getting money given to me makes me less motivated but if it's given to you it makes you more motivated?

We got some new kitties and they've been playing like kitties do. I like to use keys and lasers to amuse them.
