What I see, people are demanding that democrats will obstruct Trump with every conceivable way like republicans did for Obama (according to them). Any sort cooperation or suggestion of cooperation is seen as betrayal. So next four years are probably at least as entertaining as previous eight. Republicans will have to get rid of the filibuster if they expect to get anything done. Reid already got rid of part of it, and no doubt the Dems would get rid of the rest if that benefited them. Edit: As a citizen of course I am expected to follow all the rules and pay all my taxes, and if I don't the feds will come down on me like a ton of bricks. Those 4Bn in tax credits mostly are given for children of immigrants who actually are US citizens. Also, illegal immigrants still pay 12 billion a year in payroll taxes without getting any benefits. You're an expert on US tax system now? How do they know their children are citizens? How do they know they have children at all, or who the person with the fake Social Security number is? This is all a criminal enterprise, and a fraud perpetrated on the American taxpayer.

As others pointed out, right to protest is not a right to riot. Rioting, vandalism, etc. are crimes and those who participate in those crimes should be punished according to law. But denying people right to protest because some protesters break the law is just same rhetoric where people demand that all guns should be banned because some gun owners us their guns to murder other people. No one's denying their right to protest peacefully. Meh, that's just the huge margin she got in California, and probably half of those were illegal aliens voting.

Considering how close Pennsylvania was, and how razor thin other Trump winning alternatives turned out, I'd say this was more an act of God than of man. But a lot of people certainly were revolting against the direction the country was moving, just not enough to win on their own. Edit: Actually I just realized Trump didn't need Pennsylvania to win, he won enough Western states anyway. I got the wrong impression on election night, so it wasn't as close as I thought. Edit2: Oh, I see, he got the one electoral vote from Maine, so that would've put him over the top. But even if he tied, he'd be elected by the House. I was the best in my class for your information. GD already pointed out there were no riots after Obola won twice. I also didn't notice any Trump supporters rioting or beating up Hillary supporters during the campaign. Also it's known organized leftist groups like nazi collaborator Soros' Moveon.org are behind these protests. American people are now treating their media the way Soviet people used to treat theirs. Whatever the media says, the truth is probably the opposite. Poor gun companies, they just lost their star salesman eight years running. You hit on a big point here. The US system of government does not lend itself to major changes in direction. After right years of Obama there are many changes but only taken collectively are they noticeable aside from the ACA. And it is collapsing under it's own flaws. After 4 years of Trump things will be different that they would be after four years of Clinton but not radically. Folks who don't understand large ships down't change direction on a dime might not understand that. At the least he would have to appoint a good Supreme Court justice and let the Border Patrol and ICE agents do their jobs. Being a Marxist rag is a terminal condition. Most of it sounds good. We can't afford any tax cuts though, but a lot can be done on tax reform now that Republicans hold everything. I'm afraid they'll fritter it all away because of their ideological blinders and the evil Chamber of Commerce influence. They're not voting restrictions, they are the same security measures every country has. It may have helped Trump if fewer aliens and felons were able to vote and people were more wary of the usual Democrat fraud.
