  1. WOD I never know when you joking, would you really be okay with California leaving the USA in some sort of alternative universe? Wouldn't you feel a sense of loss because California is considered one of the iconic US states for foreigners...Texas is also by the way May be to foreigners. Calisodom no longer cares about US citizenship, Calisodom is dragging us all to hell with them. Do you know what "non sequitur" means?
  2. Irreconcilable differences. Edit: Edit2: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/california-717421-road-state.html
  3. Why would anyone fight to stop California from leaving? Good riddance to them and their pension liabilities.
  4. The end of the Soviet media: http://www.dailywire.com/news/11281/how-trump-turned-national-media-impotent-hecklers-john-nolte
  5. I'm pretty sure she'd burn both, except that she's no longer with us.
  6. And I'm sure you know everything there is to know about war and that 'meat grinder'... I drew that conclusion from the cavalier attitude towards it Hurlshot was displaying. I read a lot about it although obviously that's not the same as experiencing it for yourself.
  7. OK, then let the ones who want to be *really* equal go, and leave the rest alone.
  8. Would you send your wife to war while you stayed home with the kids? She's a much better shot than me. I'm also a great father. The reality is we would both be willing to sacrifice our lives to save the other and protect our kids. The idea that the government needs to decide who is the better fit for that is silly. OK, so if she's drafted and your daughter is drafted, and you stay home in safety that's fine with you? Edit: And I doubt you have imagination enough to understand what kind of meat grinder you'd be sending them into.
  9. Because what you see as drivel I see as part of the human condition.
  10. Anyone who's serving could potentially be in a combat situation. If you're not ever going to have a draft, there's no point of registering. Once they're registered, what's to stop an SJW president from sending them into combat?
  11. Would you send your wife to war while you stayed home with the kids?
  12. They're not incapable but most of them aren't killers either. And it's men's duty to protect their country and the women, before it's the women's duty.
  13. And who's going to take care of those children after you send the mother into combat to be killed? This absolutist equality crap has completely perverted the concept of humanity.
  14. I wouldn't force women to fight in the first place. There's no equality on this issue, men are natural killers, women are not. If they volunteer, that's a different story.
  15. I know he's held in high esteem by certain Marines in this forum, and reports indicate he's competent, very intelligent, and nuanced --but like a separation of powers between the Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary bodies of governmrnt, there should be an explicit chain of command of clear civilian leadership over the military at the Pentagon. That's why the 8 (formerly 10) year rule between military service and DoD leadership is in effect. It's a good and prudent law. You're telling me you'd be upset if the military overthrew Trump?
  16. I'm with Bork on this, not Scalia. Preventing someone from desecrating the flag does not prevent them from expressing their opinion, no matter how unpopular.
  17. I meant the question in my later post, about what you think his concrete proposal is.
  18. I got it all along, but you still haven't answered my question.
  19. I never claimed that. Edit: So KP, what do you think he's calling on Castro to do specifically to get people to work the fields, except for "the radical self-critique".
  20. So is he saying Cuban government is too soft, and could use some more Stalinism?
  21. Strawman. Trump should've appointed Romney (or even Bloomberg, but that could never happen) to HHS, instead of an idealogue.
  22. Nothing wrong with that, children who want and can learn shouldn't be dragged down by those who don't. Edit: Feds shouldn't have anything to do with education, that's a local concern. The Department of Education should be abolished, I don't know of any good it's ever done. Edit2: Well, at least Trump accomplished one thing already: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/29/business/trump-to-announce-carrier-plant-will-keep-jobs-in-us.html?_r=0
