Yeah but the Germans were the first to deploy lethal chlorine gas. It was so haphazard and prototypical at the time that the first attacks actually caused large amounts of friendly casualties when the wind shifted backwards. And I have a hunch that if half of these Republicans actually knew what Communism was, they might be a bit more interested than constantly throwing the accusation at aging aging old fart Democrats. It reminds me of someone calling everyone gay all the time, it comes to a point where it says more about them than the target...

https://eng.belta.by/society/view/russian-communist-party-condemns-polands-policy-towards-refugees-145206-2021/ Very interesting, and contrasts heavily with Die Linke (German communists). Last I checked Die Linke actually took a more tougher stance against immigration, in an effort to curb the rise of right wing extremism. Yet interestingly enough, Die Linke isn't doing so well in the German elections recently, yet the KPRF seems to be gaining steam so who knows. Bad time to be a European all-around I guess xD

What You've Done Today - But you… have elected… the way of… pain!

Yes China has done away with it completely and some European countries are considering it as well. The U.S. appears indifferent at this point and some countries like Brazil want to actually expand on it and make it more widespread. If the Brazilian government loves it and China hates it, I'm naturally inclined to believe it's probably bad and am probably leaving myself open to hackers on my desktop (despite having a VPN and top notch browser security)) because my anti-virus software will not tolerate it on my machine should I leave it on, but eh, I'm kind of hard up for a bit of cash and my 3090 was just kinda sitting there so I figured I'd let it run through the winter to keep my room warn and to collect a little cash to get me by. Hard times, you know. -

Ok so I got my mining rig setup and I make a whopping....10 USD per day, on a 3090, maxed out OC at 122 mh/s ... perhaps there's better mining software out there than Ethermine, and It's some gas money, but it appears all these rumors that you could made at least $35/d were a bit unfounded. It is kind of addicting though watching the hashrate grinding and accumualted Ether go up, albeit slowly so perhaps I'll keep tinkering with different software and see if there's better options. As long as you're having fun, the sky's the limit. -
Yes....I know this. However, the outrage generated by the Epic situation exposed a huge malfunction of rational thought so I'm taking it upon myself to kindly remind the "Gaming" community that exclusivity is not going to just be a blip in the Matrix, without coming off sounding like a stuck up A-hole.

If you thought blatant exclusivity was gonna stop at Epic...

I am an extremely white and an extremely independent anarchist 'thinker', bow before my Druid and non-violent, non-hierarchical logic, for the white man clearly sets the spiritual tone for mankind. That's really all I can gather from this, but I guess that makes me a simpleton cucking to my non-existent superiors, eh?

In America you can get life in prison for possession of marijuana or 15 years in federal prison for possession of a .22LR bullet under the proper circumstances, and federal forces trying to enforce a 'nanny' state while at the same time calling out the CPC for human rights infringement. I'm sorry but you're gonna call people out for 'violations' you might want to clean up your own back yard first, especially as China has a +20 higher average IQ than the average American and a much lower crime rate per capita.

I'm sorry but this just strikes me as white supremacist and pro-western propaganda. It's kind of hard to imagine that Tibet will rise up against the CCP when it looks like Taiwan will fall to the PLA at the first fart. Yes, Eastern society is...strange by Western standards, but their current trajectory shows very few contradictions (AKA they clearly know what they want, unlike the West where the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing) and seem to be formulating a semblance of vision for the future.

Yes, @Gorth Conservative vs. Alt Right, welcome to U.S. politics. I am, however, getting the impression that the general populace is more socially liberal now than just a decade or two ago, fiscal conservatism remains defacto, though. Europe seems to be in a political no mans land at the moment, just kinda observing the situation. Business as usual. Russia's government under Putin remains quite right wing, however at least they have a growing Communist opposition, that is far more effective than the whole ultra pro-West Navalny situation. KPRF supports Navalny's stance against government corruption but is very much against his pro-Western views. CCP reigns supreme and is in the midst of the 3rd great "transformative" period, where society undergoes radical reforms. The first was Mao, then Deng, now it's Xi. They are gearing up for the 4th industrial revolution and are trying to fix social "extremes" (extreme poverty vs. extreme wealth, etc).

Yes being able to do everything digital on one device from gaming, to banking, to surfing strange corners of the net, is quite efficient, and with laptops you get to lug it everywhere with relative ease. Sure, you don't get the massive screen but with a laptop 1080p is just as flashy as a 4k or even an 8k if it's small enough, lol. I know it's un-American not to be obsessed with huge ass screens but eh, I'm a professional discreet fancy-pants at heart I think. I just found out I can make $35/d with this 3090 mining Ethereum so that desktop over there can mine while I do everything else over here where its more comfortable and fun.

Funny how a simple tube with baffles in it that's easy as Hell to make yourself can actually land you in prison for up to 11 years should you lack the proper paperwork and long arduous and financially destroying process of obtaining it. I'm talking about suppressors of course. In order to obtain one you have to actually go to your local sheriffs department (Who the Hell trusts law enforcement these days???), they take your fingerprints, you pay a hefty fee, and you have to wait up to TWO years to get the go-ahead. On top of that, suppressor manufacturers take full advantage of their legal status and charge a ridiculous amount of money for each one, sometimes in the thousands which is ridiculous because they are not complicated or high tech devices. That's it, that's all they are, a tube with sound baffles inside of it, simple as Hell, you can make one with a $40 car fuel filter, 11 years in prison w/o authorization, uhg. Do not mess with Uncle Sam though in any case, he will f your s up. If you want one, you gotta bite the bullet (no pun intended) dish out the fingerprints and the money and go through the "scanning" process. That, or get a good at crossbow, if you want to target shoot more "silently". Crossbows are so high tech these days that they have some that fire bolts up to 450 feet per second, imagine a long bolt traveling 1.5x a football field in one second! (For comparative purposes, the slowest 9mm round travels about 850 feet per second as advertised, should give you a good perspective on just how fast bullets are compared to bolts, when the slowest bullet travels twice fast as the fastest crossbow bolt).

China has done away with crypto-mining, not sure if/when the West will do the same. I mean it's all these high powered GPU's are good for really, 3090 does wonders with Ethereum mining especially if you live in an apartment where you don't have to pay for power. Exchange it for Bitcoin and you're good to go...to wherever shady .onion website that's totally NOT infested with law enforcement and cyber criminals, lol.

I knew full well these hybrid chips would be solid performers, and it doesn't look like AMD will achieve hybrid status until Zen 5, giving Intel (As well as Apple) a solid head start there. Zen 4 will have to beat out Alder Lake by the slimmest of margins to stay ahead of the game until they start churning out their versions of hybrid chips, though AMD seems to be clever enough to implement their architecture to do so. Edit: It looks like 'Raptor Lake' is their next years line-up. It was supposed to be 'Meteor Lake' but I guess they're not ready for the 7nm process yet. I called it about a year ago and I'll call it again and you can quote me later if I'm wrong: Meteor Lake will be their real killers and personally would hold off upgrading until Meteor Lake and whatever Ryzen competition comes out then. Personally, I'm peeved as Hell with desktop hardware and all the bits you have to buy to upgrade and am quite happy with more modest, smaller, yet surprisingly efficient laptop variants that are being released lately. Intel is trying to master the art of the increasingly faster and more efficient discrete GPU's, ensuring that Nvidia and AMD will be on their toes in that department as well.

My two biggest things are security and gaming. Security I don't have the nitpicky details but I do like how my software is efficiently tabbed right where I like it and even has checkmarks letting me know that it's active. Gaming is certainly better because it now has built in software to reduce hardware usage freeing up resources to improve gameplay. Noticed a small but apparent increase in fps and functionality in that regard and it does not mess with security software to improve gaming performance, which is all I care about really. It was a free download so no shills attached to these 1st impressions.

Yes. Am a growing a thing for laptops and discrete GPU's nowawdays and a controller is a must for a portable device. These micro pieces of hardware are getting better with each iteration, and now with Intel in the game for discrete GPU's expect them to get even better and more efficient, plus I can cart it around to my local wifi center now that I have a VPN and really good browser security and do literally anything I want on the net, within reason and caution of course Am flipping around between World of Assassination trilogy, Evil Within 2, and Grim Dawn however something tells me a new game of Real Life may be in the star charts in the near future. -
Yes working quite well actually. I got it today and it actually is better than 10 but that's not unexpected because if you look at Windows track record, it's always the odd number that's the best version Win 95: good Win 98: Bad WinXP: Good WinME: Bad Win7: Good and so on and so forth. No added security risks to your device as far as I can tell, all VPN's and security extensions work just as well as before, if not better. Someone with more knowledge on such matters might be able to give a more accurate analysis on that though.

Yes Shinji Mikami is known as the founder/father/creator of Resident Evil. The reality is a bit more complex behind the development of the original RE1, I've read an entire book on it, but people like a face for things they really like and Mikami would be the closest thing to that so.... -
makes sense

The Evil Within 2 It's OK but honestly why do they keep making survival horror games more abstract and ethereal like Silent Hill these days? I mean sure, the premise is based off of science fiction but they seem to believe that science and the supernatural go hand in hand. There's only one game I played where that kind of formula works, and that's Parasite Eve. Why is Parasite Eve an exception to the norm? Because the factors of science and weapon customization are predominant in the game, along with good character arcs, whilst the supernatural ethereal Eve character is complimentary to that, and it's done quite well, sort of like the FPS game F.E.A.R., but with much more depth. I kinda digress though, despite that bad flaw TEW2 does narrative and character building quite well, the monsters are a bit repetitive but finding clever ammo saving new ways to bring them down is fun in its own right. The world, despite it's bad supernatural moments, does have a certain degree of openness to it, but jumps back to linearity soon after and vice versa, keeping it both open and claustrophobic at the same time. You really have to go out of your way to look for supplies or you risk running completely dry on ammo or health. Plot is almost a carbon copy of Silent Hill "man looking for his very young daughter" but its interlaced with psychological elements like psychopathy and sociopathy, which white collar law enforcement enthusiasts seem to love. "Let's understand the POS before we blow his brains out" seems in line with federal law enforcement types, and this certainly contains those kinds of elements. So far not bad, but I kinda miss survival horror of yore, where it was all about science fiction, weapons, and simple but colorful and memorable characters that keep it interesting and far less nuance. -
I'd say it's possible with Microsoft's acquisition but nothing is announced yet. Perhaps after Avowed releases and it gets pretty good marks and sales they'll look into it. Fair warning, MMO's don't really have a great lifespan and aren't viewed well in retrospect so from a market perspective, there is a high probability that Microsoft will not greenlight and MMO, and would require a combination of good luck and a successful formula.
