  1. Impossible to kill Raedric at level 5 with my Wizard, I've tried every possible way, I exhaust my magics, potions, scrolls, I've tried doing a funnel in a door, going straight ahead too, but straight ahead is worse, they surround you, flank you and then kill you in seconds xD Level 5 is low level for Raedric in POTD with wizard? it's impossible for me, I've been trying to kill him for 5 hours and I can't do it xD 5 HOURS OMG And I haven't seen any solo with wizard on youtube where they kill Raedric at level 5 in POTD, all of them are 7 minimum, from there up.
  2. I wanted to take ideas from the builds here, but they are too old, the game after the patches had many changes and they don't seem very feasible. I have never used a wizard, just once to test, and in group, the idea is to make a solo in POTD with him, but I have not very clear the stats, I had thought something like this: POD - 17 CON - 10 DEX - 10 PER - 19 INT - 19 RES - 3 Old Vailia - Vagabond It would be with Pale Elf, but I'm not sure if it will be too slow to cast magics and attacks with summoned staff, opinions? Another build I had thought of would be like this: POD - 14 CON - 6 DEX - 18 PER - 16 INT - 18 RES - 6 Pale Elf - Old Vailia - Vagabond But I have doubts as to whether it will be low CON and low PER, especially CON. The idea is not to skip fights, do all the fights I find, I don't like to skip fights and leave them for later, I don't use stealth to get equipment, I kill what I see in front of me, and I understand that the best classes to do this are Wizard, chanter and priest, that's why I chose wizard. PS: Another option I was considering is a full min/max, CON and RES at minimum, but with such a low CON I don't know if it is feasible, at least not without avoiding combats, which is precisely what I don't want to do. Edit: Ok, in the end I decided on these stats: POD - 17 CON - 10 DEX - 4 PER - 18 INT - 19 RES - 10 Moon Godlike - Living Lands So far it's going pretty well, I've been able to kill the bears in the cave of the second map and the group of wolves in level 2 without much problem (ok, the bears killed me 2 times xD but nothing else). The Wizard is pretty strong, even though the attacks are slow with 4 dex only, this looks good hehe
  3. And the druid? would he be one of those strong classes for a solo in POTD without skipping combats? or would he have to skip combats at the beginning like other classes?
  4. A friend of mine just did a solo with a monk, even though she did it on "hard", not POTD, it seems to have been quite easy according to what she told me. https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/shiisuii/video/127664978 https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/shiisuii/video/127539363 Adra dragon and alpine, ok, she's on hard difficulty, not POTD, but according to her it's turning out to be a cakewalk, nothing kills her, is the monk that strong? it seems like he's both tanke and DPS at the same time xD __________________________________ One thing that bothers me, is that in POTD, in a solo, you can't play normal, that is, you have to avoid many fights, it makes you feel like a coward, I love the challenge, and playing avoiding fights is not something that excites me, I guess there is no choice, otherwise it's impossible no? I always played on hard, now I was playing on POTD with a group of 6, this difficulty is new to me, it has nothing to do with hard, even the dumbest enemies can give you problems xD If in a group of 6 I'm giving my all, to do a SOLO I would have no choice but to avoid combat, look for equipment by going stealth and do missions that give experience without too much danger, and discover areas, which also gives experience. On the other hand, a solo on hard seems more fun, you don't need to avoid so much combat, if you go up 3 or 4 levels it is possible to do the fights that you find, with the help of summons (figurines) of course.
  5. The min/max in build I avoid them? I have experience in "hard" difficulty, and I usually use min/max buidls, but in POTD I know that everything changes a lot. Thanks!
  6. Hi, first of all, forgive my English, it's a little basic and I may not be understood well at all xD Currently there are no current builds post patch, I was having doubts with a SOLO build in POTD, but also with missions. For example, the random missions in Caed Nua require companions to be able to do them, if you are doing a SOLO, would it be legal to take companions for those missions, or does doing a SOLO imply not doing those random missions? And the guards you can hire in Caed Nua (8 in total), do people playing a SOLO hire guards to get help in the random fights in Caed Nua? or doing a SOLO legally you should not hire guard help for those random fights? ------------------------ On the subject of the builds, is it viable nowadays with the last patches that were released some time ago, a solo build for example with rogue? cipher? druid? or would it be better to choose stronger classes like paladin, fighter, etc? I don't use other people's builds, but I like to get ideas, so I don't know if I could get some advice from an expert in the game who knows well how it currently works in its latest version, to make a decent build.
  7. Eder doesn't have the best attributes for a tank, but he does his job very well with the right equipment and some buffs, at level 7 and early equipment he gets to 90 deflection easily, a weapon with engaged and the necessary talents for a good tank and I personally don't get knocked down, he can handle anything and he can take whatever they throw at him. Personally I never use a tank as a main character because they bore me, I like classes that require a lot of micro management, it's how I have more fun, however, in a group of 6, at least 3 I take them in this plan, 1 pure tanke (more or less, Eder xD) and 2 off-tanks, Kana and my main character in the case of taking druid, I use my druid with that role, and reached level 7 and 9 is able to withstand many beatings while caste his magic. Kana is essential in my group, even by team she practically equals (in some games she has even surpassed him) in deflection to Eder, but she is not able to tanky the same because I don't give her the right tank talents, evidently, If I take Pallegina they are practically 1 tanke and 3 off-tanks xD is a very resistant group, Durador and Aloth would be the others that I always take, and these I take them very soft, they are the target of many enemies, a fampyr the first thing he does is try to disable them (I hate the damn fampyrs xD). In short, for my fighter is the tanke par excellence, and Eder despite not having the best attributes, does his job very well. PS: Sorry for my English.
  8. Personally and after trying several builds of cipher melee and ranged, I'm left with ranged, the build number 4 that I mentioned in my previous post works very well. You have too much focus that you accumulate at low levels, I'm just in love with the cipher ranged, I like the melee a lot, it's very fun, with two hands and heavy armor, if you know how to handle it you can do anything, even though at low levels it's quite weak, it starts to shine from level 8 I think I remember, but as the cipher ranged none, for me hehe Also it is very versatile, CC and very harmful attacks while you are in the security of the second row away, even that there are enemies that will go for you the first, like the Vampyrs, I hate the vampyrs... if you don't make the vampyrs "plug (block them with other characters so they don't reach your cipher)", your cipher ranged is dead xD so you have to be careful with that. PS: I've never used blunderbuss as a primary weapon, I'd like to try it, but I think it requires quick changes to be effective, I don't mind using a lot of micro management, but that continuous change of weapon specifically is something that makes me uncomfortable, if I haven't tried blunderbuss it's because of that xD (or arquebuses?))
  9. Here's some MaxQ builds on cipher -> https://gist.github.com/v1ld/fd89b6092ec840e1cce87900fb0aaa85 I have tried 2 builds, based on my experience and on those builds I made my own builds, more to my taste, but from those, very similar in the end. I have tried cipher with a 2 hand weapon, this one has to use plate armor, the heavier ones, which makes you slower, but it is necessary because you are soft melee xD the slowness of slow attacks with heavy armor is counteracted with the good damage of two hand weapons, two hand swords. Use two-handed swords that you find until you can get the BoEP (blade of the endless paths), even though this is already in late game, the swords you get will have to be upgraded and enchanted with something corrosive or even have another one with fire enchantment for spirit type enemies, etc. My experience with the build number 3 of that link I gave you has been very good, but I used a forest elf instead of a dward, and I put 1 point more of str and one less of constitution in its place, I can say that it is very funny, the first levels are a little difficult but from level 6 begins to shine. Heavy armor for more protection and 2-handed swords, either great sword or stoc, I used stoc, because BoEP is stoc type so I put the talent to improve that type of sword, your damage will be good and you will have good focus, do not neglect, love enemies to put them on your side, Whisper of Treason lasts a little but is fast and makes enemies weak. _____________________________________ Now, I also tried another build, specifically the number 4, this is "remote", and of course is my favorite build, in my case I made another small change, also minimal, I removed 1 point of str to put it to intelligence, the build is practically the same. To use with bows, I don't want to talk about time parasite because it's a skill that you acquire very late, but we must mention that the attack speed with that skill and the bow The Rain of Godagh Field (https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/The_Rain_of_Godagh_Field) is so brutal that you generate focus to the beast xD There are a couple of bows you can buy early on, they are the "cloudpiercer" (https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Cloudpiercer) and the "Persistence" (https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Persistence), which is on level 4 of endless paths in Caed Nua, you can also buy Borresaine (https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Borresaine) in defiance bay, but it is worth 10k, at the beginning that is quite a lot of money xD This build is to be in the back row, but you can't neglect it, there are certain enemies that will go after you because of your weaknesses, the fampyr are a good example, but also the spirit, ghost and those type of enemies, even if you stay behind the fampyr will go after you as moved by the attraction of a magnet xD My experience with this build is the best, in fact it's my favorite build, MaxQ knows how to make things hehe good focus generation thanks to your good dex to shoot fast, acceptable damage and compensated by your high dex and good crowd control thanks to your high intelligence, one of your best assets is precisely the crowd control, and the use of figurines to plug the enemies that can go for you, you will learn which are playing, which I told you are good examples. Your armor, as it says in the link that I gave you the builds, steal / hide / padded, as preference I use more hide armor and padded armor, I have 2 or 3 on top for depending on the situation hehe PS: I hope you understand, my English is very basic and sometimes I have to help myself as a translator, sorry xD
  10. It almost hurts to use it, it hurts for the bosses , when I came to adra dragon with this talent, which is the first time I use it, I was speechless, literally the whole fight was stuned, I did not get to throw any breath and I think it did not even arrive to attack, he might attack once or twice with his head, but that's it, it was very easy to beat her, this talent is a lot of talent xD
  11. Aa ok, thanks, then I can use it without fear, if it were the case that it is broken/bug, I would not use it hehe
  12. https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Psychic_Backlash (Psychic Backlash) This talent is broken? says one per encounter, but I kept Adra Dragon constantly stunned, it was quite funny because he didn't give it time or to take a breath, he was stunned all the time, I just had to deal with the mob while 2 other characters were dedicated to giving the Dragona, it fell quite quickly, in less than 1 minute xD (I have broken my own record, with a lot of haha)
  13. Yes, sorry for the confusion, my doubts are directed at talents, not skills hehe If two-handed talent does not affect the bows, does it not affect other weapons at a distance? Arquebuses, etc.
  14. I want to recycle this thread, since the title really encompasses the cipher, even if the initial question is for melee hehe My doubts come with cipher but this time for ranged, the build is basically one of MaxQ (https://gist.github.com/v1ld/fd89b6092ec840e1cce87900fb0aaa85 ) 4. ranged cc/dps - robe/hide/padded armor (early game), durganized robe (late game), Borresaine/Sabra Marie Warbow; wood elf; 15/7/18/18/17/3 (ok I only make one change, 1 point less than MIG to give 1 more point to INT, just that.). My doubts come in that I am not sure what skills to put to this cipher, I already made a game with the one of enough hours, in fact I arrived at Stalwart of the first DLC, with “everything done” up to that point, that is, I did all the missions, including the bounty hunter, just leaving for the last part of the base game in the Burial Isle, that means I arrived at Stalwart with level 14, Adra dragon, the dragon of the sky and Concenlhault were already dead. I was not clear at any time what skills to give this cipher (at each level up), I was putting what seemed right to me, if I followed the skills recommended by MaxQ in that build guide, even though I made a couple of changes by preference staff, but I had doubts about what to put: - "Two-handed weapons" goes well when using a two-handed arc, right? - "It's worth using weapon focus" for war bows (in this case, because I use that type of bow as indicated by the guide and it seemed brutal to me xD) to gain that precision, knowing that I play in difficulty "difficult"?, the prior to POTD. - "Apprentice's Sneak Attack", how does it work exactly? When does your damage come into play? is it ok for this cipher? - "Psychic Backlash" is recommended? I think it's a good skill, but I have NEVER taken it because somewhere I read that it was not worth it, however I can watch videos on google where this skill leaves the boss stuned constantly xD - "Any specific recommendations for armor?" Angio's and Blaidh Golan according to the situation is going well at play early / half right? I do not dare with light armor, the enemies go for me first, at the slightest carelessness I die xD even later there are light armor with good DR, so I end up using some. In general I am not sure what skills to give the cipher, I like to put the one that increases the slots, because in the end between potions, scrolls and figurines I use all many item slots, my group consists of game characters, I like to follow his stories, even if he already knows them, are: Eder -> It may not be a pure tank, but with the right equipment I have perfectly endured anything, it is a fierce xD Aloth -> I am very used to it, it has CC magic especially at higher levels that help me a lot, and it does good damage, I always wear it with plate armor, but I use it at a distance, it would be better with plate and 1h + shield ? Any recommended combination of weapon and shield in that case? Durance -> It is another essential for me, I endure a while with his initial armor, but then I put plates, and I always carry it with "Arquebuses", Durance is always next to my remote cipher for that reason, do you see it well? Would it be better to take it with a plate and 1h + shield? It seems to me that it performs quite well, but I need an opinion. Hiravias -> Not long ago I tried the druid, and now it's another essential, in fact, Druid and Cipher are now my favorite classes hehe so Hiravias enters my group for its usefulness for both CC and area damage (as you call it ? DoA?) Kana -> My off-tank, badge, 1h + shield and tank-focused skills in general (defenses, deflection, etc etc), dragon thrashed, just love the chanter, and Kana with the right equipment and skills practically endures me same as Eder, in fact it is curious how his deflection is placed above that of Eder reached a point xD Ok that would be the group, plus my remote cipher, any recommendation regarding the skills (not cipher, of the others like the ones I set an example above) will be welcome, and any advice also, weapons on the partners, if better 1h + shield or other combination, etc. Thank you!
  15. Yes, I suppose that the price is very fat on the console, the BGs is another case, it is disproportionate, even more those, which have more years yet, many xD that does not help sales of course, and this genre is not for Everybody, there is a very specific public, if you make it difficult (with high prices) they don't even bother watching the game. And it is a shame, I would like it to have good sales, because that means more possibilities to see a POE3, I hope that at least they have enough sales so that this idea continues around their heads xD
  16. 60€ the console game version? (Euro zone) is too much for a game that is 2 years old, it will not benefit sales, it will not improve the sales it had on PC, for that price it will not improve at all. 10€ make a difference, you can read forums that are willing to pay 50€, but not 60€, to me particularly this is indifferent, I have it on PC, but as a user who used to play console, it seems an excessive price, good luck. I understand that there are some expenses to cover, I also understand that in some countries of Europe we pay an over price, it is the fault of taxes, but the end user does not have to deal with these problems, he wants a powerful price, and more when we talk about a game that already has time. It is better to sell 10 games at 20 than 5 to 30, this is already an old acquaintance.
  17. The first time I came to it with level 11, without having played the expansions, only with the equipment that you can cope with in the base game, my main was a cipher (cipher and druid are now my favorite classes) melee two-handed (complicated to wear, but once you get used to it, it's amazing). Eder, Pallegina, Durador, Kana, Aloth and my cipher. I do not exaggerate anything when I say that I was hours and hours, many hours, many attempts and always dying, in fact I created a thread here asking how I could kill this dragon xD For me the key is in the buffs for the group and the debuffs for the dragon, once I got into the head that I had to use buffs, it took me less than 2 minutes to kill her, 2 minutes counting that more than half of that time they were buffs / debuffs, the remaining time is what it took to kill her hahaha PS: Not all the fighting comes out the same, other times I have reached it with level 14, after killing Concenhault (even though I didn't use the hammer or anything, I just had more level) and throw myself 9 minutes to kill her xD I hope it is understood, my English is a bit basic :S
  18. Hi Boeroer, I didn't want to make a new thread for this question. Do you see this build viable today? MIG 10 CON 10 DEX 8 PER 16 INT 18 RES 16 This would be for "difficult" difficulty with game party: Eder - tank Pallegina - offtank @ buffer Aloth - debuffer / AOE damage Durance - buffer @ debuffer Kana - damage / buffer Another variant of the build I had in mind are: MIG 14 CON 12 DEX 4 PER 14 INT 18 RES 16 DEX to the minimum, I had thought that this construction endures a lot and that I would have time to throw my things without too much trouble xD I particularly like this last option with DEX at the minimum, but I would also change 12 CON to 10 and put 16 PER instead of 14. Edit: Another variant (no tanky) xD: MIG 10 CON 10 DEX 17 PER 17 INT 18 RES 6 Tips with all variants? focused more on magic (storm), but I have a certain preference for physical endurance also hehe thanks! PS: focused on storm magics! Edit: Ok it doesn't matter, in the end I decided on these stats: MIG 10 CON 8 DEX 19 PER 16 INT 19 RES 6 Even though he still wants an opinion about it hehe
  19. Any help would be appreciated, I can not find that address in the archives, I have 2 days with this xD (yes, 2 days, I am not very fluent with these things hehe)
  20. I'm looking for a folder that seems to be compressed in some file of the game, but I can't find it, the folder is in this address: Assets/Data/Prefabs/Characters/Character_TEMPLATES/ I don't understand much, but as I think, that folder should be in some file of the "assetbundles" folder, or not? I am using the UABE program to look at each file, but I can't find that folder, could someone tell me?
  21. One question, is this applicable to PoE 1? And another question xD is it possible with the programs in this tutorial to "disable" the NPC backers of PoE?
  22. Omg, I have a lot to learn, but I'm slowly seeing how this goes Ok, I'm going to try the things you tell me, Aloth I like a lot, and Pallegina too, I usually take them in my group, but I think it would be interesting to put Hiravias as you have said instead of Aloth, and for that last position, or Grieving Mother or Pallegina. Eder I like, in general I see good tanke, I see that meets and endures quite well, with Pallegina supporting him makes good team I think. Well, I'm going to try based on the things you've told me and have such, at the moment my challenge is to kill the Adra Dragon, I have not managed to kill him xD after another challenge, I do not know which haha Thanks guys!
  23. Ok, thanks guys, I've been traveling and I have not been able to play either, so I'm going back to the game hehe One question for you MaxQuest, in the video that you put, you use 2 ciphers, one is frontline melee CC, the stats that you use, maximize dex, per and int? is that I see in the video that you have little MIG, little CON and RES seems that you have lowered it a lot. I suppose the potions, the meals, the armor, etc. have changed your stats, but I guess you've left MIG at 10? RES in in 5 or 6, CON in 8 or 10 and everything else you have raised DEX to the maximum, INT to the maximum and the rest to PER? Edit: Definitely I will try this build of a guide of yours, it is frontline CC with BotEP, but in your guide you say Dwarf with 9/9/18/17/17/8, I will use Pale Elf with 10-8-18-18-16 - 8, so far my build has always been 17-8-19-10-16-8, but even on "difficult" difficulty, which is where I play, I find little perception, in other games I have varied to 16-8-18 -12-16-8, with similar results. The team could be: Eder Aloth Durador Kana My cipher ??? (Grieving Mother for ranged and additional support? Mm)
  24. My God, I am not capable of killing the Adra Dragon, I have asked for the count of the hours I have tried, I have tried all kinds of tactics, different approaches, as soon as he sends me his dragon breath, he leaves almost the whole group dead ¬¬ My group is: My cipher, you are right up there, I'm beginning to think that maybe I should change my stats, instead of 17-8-19-10-16-8, put 10-8-18-18-16- 8, melee equal with BotEP and plate senguine, Eder as tanke, Pallegina as off and buffs, Durance with buffs and debuffs, Aloth for damage and other aids and Sagani, which equal the change for Kana?. I realize that with my cipher I fail with stronger enemies, maybe I'm not using enough my paralysis spells and others, because with that I would not fail, but I miss having more perception, they interrupt me a lot too, that's why I had thought about changing the stats, I play on "difficult" difficulty, the one before PoTD. I do not know, I do something wrong, but I've tried many hours, I've come to leave the dragon with 2 points of life, it's the maximum I've achieved, but it always kills me, it's frustrating, I never had anything like this in any game hahaha
