That's what I did, I saw the days go by until day 26 and I didn't see the gloves, maybe I got the gloves after that day? I don't know, but I always got the gloves on day 4 and 5 (two different places in the castle, 2 different days), it's clear that the days have changed, the earliest I can get to the castle is day 3, I don't have time before, I would have to wait a whole month to be there on day one, check and recharge, but from day 3 to 26 I haven't got the gloves, at least in my case.

The same thing happens to me, I commented it just above, I no longer receive the items in the inventory with new games. Not only that, there are magic icons that get "blocked" (visually), it doesn't always happen, but it happens very often, that is, imagine that you cast a magic, and then another, when you cast the new magic, it has the icon of the previous magic on the mouse arrow, this had never happened to me before. And for God's sake, what about the loot? the gloves don't even appear in the castle, I can't even get them anymore, not even if I wait a whole month there xD -
Seriously, I can't find the damn gloves, if anyone knows on what day they come out now please tell me, I have arrived on day 3 at Raedric's castle, and I have looked day after day until day 26 and the gloves don't appear. The loot has changed with the beta patch, there are items that did not appear before, it has changed a lot, I'm starting to think that the gloves are no longer there, I do not know xD
-
It's strange, but I'm 100% sure that with the current beta patch, the loot from Raedric's castle has changed. I no longer get the manipulation gloves; I always used to get them by day 4. Now, the 'famous loot table' that's floating around is completely off. I don't like having to intentionally sleep to get the gloves; I simply knew that by day 4 or 5, I'd get these gloves. Then I'd go to the castle when that day was near and arrive (with the journey) just in time to get them, so I didn't have to resort to the sleeping trick, which feels like cheating to me. Now, I don't know which day the gloves appear. And not only that, I no longer receive the ring and the piglet pet with a new game. Before, I would receive them, but now they don't appear in my inventory. That ring used to be sold in the caravan; the vendor there pays the best in the entire game. I used to leave the initial map with almost 2000 money, but that has also changed.

The thing is, I've played a lot with priest lately, my usual build is usually: 19/3/19/16/18/3 (min/max, bonuses already included for race, background, etc). But this build is literally hell to climb, the first 5 levels, until you get decent magics, anything will kill you, even a group of xaurips is a problem, the bear in the cave with her 2 children looks like a boss if we take into account the extreme weakness of this build in the first levels. I was thinking (I'd like to remember it's for POTD on SOLO) of a build in this style: 14/8/10/19/19/8 But I have doubts whether the POD will be too little, and especially, the DEX, it may be too slow, opinions?

Text error in the Spanish language (there are actually many, but this is one of the most relevant ones), the dialog options of Ponamu Bird-Scorned, option number 1, which says "Who are you?", does not appear, you can choose option 1 blindly without knowing what it says, but no text appears. There are other issues, but they are numerous. They consist of dialogue texts spoken by the "narrator" that get mixed up with the texts of the NPC. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well. When the text is from the "narrator," it has a "dark gray" tone, whereas when the text is spoken by the NPC you're interacting with, it's of a "whiter" tone. This problem exists in both the base game and the expansions. Sometimes it's difficult to follow the narrative thread when you're unsure if what you're reading is said by the narrator or by the NPC you're speaking to. However, I have made text corrections myself, with dozens and dozens of dialogues corrected for different issues. We're talking about problems where the gender of your character is confused, to issues involving "internal commands" being visible that shouldn't be seen. I have all of this corrected in a small mod that I share on a Spanish-speaking forum. If you (the developers) are interested and want to fix these text issues, I can provide you with a link to the corrections. It's very difficult to catch all the errors because you need to play all the classes and see all the possible dialogue options. Nevertheless, I have corrected hundreds of lines, in case you're interested. ___________________________________________________________ Separate issue, this is more of a request and I would understand if it's complicated to carry out. This request concerns the "NPC Backers" that we can see in the game. Have you ever stopped to search on Google "Pillars of Eternity NPC backers"? You'll notice that many people complain about "seeing these NPCs everywhere," and there are several valid reasons for these complaints: 1 - The Godlike race: According to the game's lore, this race is supposed to be extremely rare to see. There are few NPCs in the game who are of this race, one being a companion. However, the NPC Backers have made this no longer make sense because many backers chose the Godlike race for their NPCs. The consequence? The entire game is filled with Godlikes everywhere when supposedly it's a very rare race to see in its lore. 2 - The stories of the NPC backers take you out of context. There are stories that literally describe Marvel or DC superheroes, and many others don't fit with the game's lore. 3 - There are people who "don't know what NPC backers are." The consequence? Those people "read everything about all the NPCs." The second consequence? They get lost in the narrative thread, not knowing if what they're reading is part of the game's story. As a result, they get lost, overwhelmed, and frustrated (when you tell them that those NPCs aren't actually part of the game, that their stories have nothing to do with it, they feel relieved and return to the game with enthusiasm (Relieved not to have to read something that was only confusing them.), poors...) What's my request? A button in the game options to "disable NPC backers," which would replace the NPC backers with generic NPCs when that option is activated. This solves the problem. As I mentioned, if you look on Google, many people complain about the NPC backers, even many backers complain about them, which is quite ironic xD If this is possible, thank you, if not, well, no worries, we'll continue to ignore and/or kill backers, some of them have good loot xD -

Actually it's not a bug of that class specifically, it's a general game bug, I mean, I've seen that with enemies, shadows can get stuck on the map, and moving to another map doesn't fix it, they appear on other maps, they don't do anything, it's just an image that's stuck, but this happens constantly, in all the games I've played it's always happened to me several times. -

Yes, 2 more points: - Sometimes, when you want to learn a spell from a book, the "accept" window simply has no accept button, the button has disappeared, this also prevents to "cancel" the action, it is solved by hitting the "ESC" button and return to the book to learn the spell normally. - Sometimes, when you move the mouse wheel to see something in your character's tab, the scroll bar goes crazy and goes all the way down, trying to raise the bar up doesn't solve it, it still wants to go down, there is no efficient solution, just press the ESC key and raise and lower the bar until it solves itself. PS: I have to add that I find it strange that @Boeroer and @MaxQuest don't seem to be around here, when they are 2 people very knowledgeable about the game and who have fixed bugs in the game with patches -

Anything is better than your current state, it turns a triple crown challenge into child's play, you are a passive boss killer, in POE2 it works well, how useful it is is up to each individual. Stunning a boss once is better than none, and certainly keeping it stunned constantly because of a bug is not ideal, it kills the challenge, Cipher is broken because of this bug. -

I'd also like to mention an exploit that can be easily abused. We're talking about the "Chanter" class; the issue here isn't whether to exploit it or not, it's about triggering it unintentionally, often due to a quick change in skill usage. This video demonstrates how it works: I've set the time to the exact moment the exploit is used (a few seconds after it begins). This exploit can be used with various Chanter abilities, such as: "White Worms Writhed in the Bellies of the Dead" or "Thrice Was She Wronged, and Thrice Justly Avenged" Specifically, it seems the exploit is triggered with those Chanter summons. Using either of these summons like that can be deadly. One might think to avoid using the exploit if you don't want to, but, as mentioned earlier, this exploit is often unintentionally triggered. Thanks! PS: It would be possible to decrease a little the time it takes to drink a potion? a little more time to drink them and anyone would think that you are eating in a restaurant, taking your time and not rushing -

Thank you for the update. There are some significant issues that it seems you haven't addressed. In this forum link, some problems are highlighted: Points 1, 2, and 3, especially the issues with Damage over Time (DoT) (points 2 and 3), or is the DoT functioning as intended? In that case, it might not be a bug. However, the usefulness of talents related to those DoTs doesn't seem to be significant in most cases. ________________________________________________ This is probably one of the most severe bugs in the game. We're talking about this bug that turns 'any enemy, including major bosses (most of them),' into punching bags—something to hit that won't respond. The 'Cipher' class and the talents: [Psychic Backlash] and [Brutal Backlash] The issue -> The talent 'Psychic Backlash' causes any enemy attacking your 'will' defense to be 'Stunned.' So far, so good. The serious problem is that this effect is 'permanent.' It doesn't function just once, as expected, until it reactivates as it should (as in POE2). It's always active. The issue with this is that bosses are 'permanently Stunned.' They can't even attack; they become sitting ducks waiting for you to destroy them. Many enemies attack your will defense, and the problem worsens when we use the enhancement of this talent, 'Brutal Backlash.' Enemies literally kill themselves thanks to the permanent effect. I understand some people might enjoy exploiting these issues, but for others, including myself, it's a significant problem. This bug simply made me stop using my favorite class, the Cipher. -
Wildstrike Shock is necessary if your druid is not focused on shapeshifting? for example, I usually wear it as I said in the previous post, druid focused with tanking talents and fast casting, I choose "Heart of the Storm" to increase the damage of returning storm, Relentless Storm, etc, but wildstrike shock increases the damage of Relentless Storm? or it only affects shapeshifting? the description tells me it's only the latter, but I'm not sure.

Druid is one of my favorite solo classes, my build is this one: MIG - 10 CON - 8 DEX - 19 (18 +1 Elf bonus) PER - 16 (15 + 1 Elf bonus) INT - 19 (18 +1 for Old Vailia culture) RES - 6 I want 6 RES specifically (minimum, more is better, but that's what I need) because I'm looking to use the "Company Captain's Cap" hat, and it requires 20 RES for its last upgrade, I have to add 14 RES to get those 20, which I get as follows: Dragon food -> +3 RES Bonus rest Caed Nua -> +3 of RES Enchanting armor -> +2 of RES With the ring "Gathbin Family Signet" -> This offers the magic "Lord's Authority", which gives +5 might and +7 RES (the wiki says it gives +5 RES, but it gives +7, same as the priest magic which does the same, the wiki info is wrong on some things). So I can get the 20 of RES for the hat hehe. This build works very well in SOLO in POTD, I focus the talents on tanking, that is, "Weapon and Shield Style", "Cautious Attack" and "Superior Deflection", and I add some of the talents that increase some of the defenses that most need to go up (usually fortitude"), the talent "Heart of the Storm" is essential, the rest of talents is a bit of a choice, "Deep Pockets" I always put it. Here the issue is that the druid has a lot of deflection, we want to be as much tank as possible without sacrificing casting speed, that's why the DEX is so high, the low MIG is compensated with faster throws and your ability to dodge hits thanks to the high deflection, bosses like Adra's dragon quickly fall to a level no higher than 13, which was how I killed her with this build. Ok, some paralysis scroll you need, moon well (The druid has this magic, but if I use parchment, I can spend the uses on other more necessary magics) and confusion sometime, I'm not a user of many consumables of that type, but some you need, I have restricted the use of these but it is inevitable to use some, but usually, I was enough with the druid's own magics. For me it is a very versatile class, taken as a tanke with high casting (sacrificing MIG), it can handle everything, and its deflection becomes very high, right now I don't remember numbers, but I easily reached more than 120 deflection and I wasn't even level 16 hehe, i recognize that having 16 of PER sometime has brought me some displeasure, it would be better to increase to 18, if we lower those 19 of DEX and INT to 18, we can increase to 18 of PER, perfectly viable. Edit: It should be noted that the attributes are intended to be used "specifically" (but not exclusively) with the items "Company Captain's Cap" and "Belt of the Royal Deadfire Cannoneer", and this is so to "balance attributes", combined with Berath boon talent, the final talents with those 2 items and that blessing would look like this: MIG - 13 (10 base + 3 "Belt of royal") CON - 10 (8 base + 2 "company cap") DEX - 22 (18 +1 Elf bonus + 3 "Belt of royal") PER - 19/20 (15 + 1 Elf bonus + "Lilith's Shawl" to be acquired early for 19 PER, and "Mantle of the Excavator" for late game for 20 PER) INT - 21 (18 +1 for Old Vailia culture + 2 "Belt of royal") RES - 10 (6 base + 3 "company cap" + 1 "Berath boon") I wanted this so as to have a base with equipment of 10 for CON and RES, to not have reduced defenses for being at less than 10, increase that MIG a bit (a nice increase) and increase DEX and INT significantly, these attributes can be achieved in act 3, which I consider "mid game" if we take into account the DLCs and the last act, honestly, with my exp with this build, it's an all-rounder PS: If the text is a bit confusing I am sorry, English is not my mother tongue and it is a bit basic T_T

Video game companies turn many of their games into real "gruyere cheese", because of the holes they leave, I mean Do you have a complete gameplay of your video with your character "I like cheese"? I like to watch gameplays, to see how people play, you also learn Every time I see the video of MaxQ with cipher, naked against the alpine dragon... you have to see it to believe it, personally I find it a feat
-
Omg, now I understand why in 3 or 4 occasions I could cast 2 invocations of that type in a row, I thought "I did something that allowed me to use it 2 times, I don't know what it is but it was good for me" Well, we'll see how it goes without those few points of deviation, as a preference I prefer not to use it, but it's good to know how it works hehe, out of curiosity, why do you call these little bugs "cheese"?
-
Ooook, understand, well, I don't usually do respec, so the attributes I put at the beginning, will be the definitive ones, I think I'll do another run with chanter leaving resolve out, DEX and RES to the minimum, everything else to MIG, CON, PER and INT, maybe I won't throw away all RES, but at least 4 or 5 points to give them to CON. Thanks for the advice, I think this game will be more interesting, the lack of fortitude defense and the lack of life in some long fights (like Brynlod especially) made some fights complicated, not many, but I had a few attempts in those few fights that were complicated, the lack of life was a handicap in the longest ones, those extra points in CON will come in handy for that and for the fortitude defense. I'm definitely not ready for the Triple Crown challenge yet, but I will be when I get a solo and no deaths
-
But resolve brings to increase the deflection, I thought that the deflection was something vital for this type of chanter in which you play alone and you want to avoid as many hits as possible no? If it is not so vital, then it is worth taking some points away from resolve to give them to CON and leave the PER maximized, which is what I consider ideal, maybe 6 or 7 points less of resolve are not so relevant, it would be like 6 or 7 points less of deflection, I think I could live without that, even though I also lose more defense at will.
-
And as for my doubt about perception and accuracy? if with 24/5 perception (counting equipment and buffs) my hit chance on some enemies is less than 15% even (in advanced game), is it feasible to put 14 or 15 perception instead of 18 base? as I see it, it would lower more my chance to hit the enemies, it would be as not recommended to lower perception. Using Blacsonn is an option, but I don't like the negative part of using it, my biggest problem with enemies in the advanced game is that my hit probability to hit enemies is very low having 24 or 25 perception and using potion and parchment to increase precision, something doesn't work for me (This is in the case of chanter, although with wizard it was quite similar).
-
What really bothers me, in this case I'm talking about the chanter, is that in the advanced game, you find enemies that even using potion and/or scrolls to increase your accuracy, you find that some enemies you have a 9, 12, 15% chance of hitting them, even after having used potion and scroll to boost your accuracy... In my run with only chanter in POTD that I did recently, I had a really hard time with some fights, actually there were 2 fights that for me, were the 2 hardest fights of the whole game (base game and DLCs), it was the fight against Llegranth and the Brynlod bounty hunter fight, specially the Brynlod fight, that fight was the real green hell of Rambo for me hahaha The problem was that despite having 18 base perception, plus equipment and bonus, which put me with 24 or 25 perception, and taking potion and parchment to enhance my accuracy, and without being flanked, I could still see how my probability of success was less than 10%, rarely above 10%, I missed too much, the fight was too long in time and my life bar decreased to limits incompatible with life, basically xD (I had to make 4 or 5 attempts, maybe 6, until I managed to defeat the whole Brynlod group.) I had thought about doing another build for chanter that would consist of lowering perception more and increasing CON, something like this: As preference - Pale elf - Old vailia MIG 18 CON 14 DEX 4 (the minimum for Pale Elf) PER 14 INT 18 RES 10 Basically, take 4 points off PER (in my other game it was PER 18 and CON 10) to give it to CON and have a little more survival(Essentially to increase fortitude, but also to increase stamina and life for long fights), but here is where I see the problem, if with 18 PER I had such a low % chance to hit, with 14 this is impossible then? am I missing something? the chants and summons (like Seven Nights) of a chanter also depend on your accuracy no? if 18 of perception already meant me to see a 15% or less chance to hit some enemies, I don't see feasible to lower the perception to 14, however there are people who do it playing SOLO, there is something that escapes me here hehe
-
Not necessarily, I restrict the breaks as much as I can, and with the wizard for example I have learned to make the most of the uses of the magics and the health bar, I have gotten into combats having the health bar in red, if I have run out of uses to use Infuse With Vital Essence, I have used its equivalent in potions, this has made me dispense with abusing the breaks and use a potion instead of its equivalent in magic, and give that use to another magic to cause damage, and if I had to attack melee I have done it and I have endured as I could, taking the wizard to the limit. I give you an example, the map where are the mercenaries that have besieged Concelhaut, in that map there are many groups of mercenaries, any of those groups, only one of them, is able to make you spend all your magic uses if you go early (with level too fair), I have gone there with level 12 with my wizard (SOLO, POTD of course), and I have cleaned the entire map with only 3 rests, the 2 that I had and another one that was in the area, all that map, clean with 3 rests, I have seen gameplays of people even going to buy more rests and use many more xD Everything is a matter of efficiency, to squeeze the most out of what each class offers, with Chanter I have done exactly the same, no more than 3 breaks on that map, or 2 breaks to clean the map of Caed Nua, exterior and interior, then have to go for another break to face Maerwal, but all the exterior and interior map, I have cleaned them with only 2 breaks, with chanter, with the wizard I needed 1 or 2 more breaks in that example hehe
-
Ok, game finished, at last, after... about 1000 hours playing this game, I finished it in SOLO and POTD, who was going to tell me xD it was a real challenge, I chose Declamator at the end, and it's my new favorite class, in case I didn't say it hehe. My ending I think it's been pretty good, there have been a couple of things that I think have ended "half right" due to a couple of decisions I made, in the texts of the end, of what happens in the cities, but in general I liked how it all ended. A masterpiece this game, one of the best purchases I've made hehe now, I have 2 games in the recamara, POE2 or Pathfinder Kingmaker, this last one looks at me and gives me eyes I appreciate the help that some of you have given me, I'm a bit heavy, and I have a pretty bad English, so thanks for your patience too Sorry for the triple post, I hope the occasion will forgive me hehe PS: One question, is it necessary to have POE1 installed for POE2 to use your saved game? or is it enough to have the save files where it leaves them by default?
-
I like the chanter a lot more than the wizard, ok, the chanter depends a bit on potions and scrolls, the advantage of the wizard is that it has magics that you can only get through consumables, so the chanter is dependent on those consumables, but you don't need to abuse it either. There is a potion that I have used especially a lot, the vital essential, thanks to that potion I have used very few breaks so far in the game, I'm close to finish the DLC2 and I'm missing the last act of the base game, I have died very few times, with overconfidence or some mistake of mine, but very few times, with the wizard, I died many more xD The alpine dragon fell very fast (with the wizard I couldn't kill it, it would have fallen after more attempts, that's for sure xD), Concelhaut was very very easy, that combat didn't last me more than 1 minute, and I only used 1 Scroll of Maelstrom and 1 moonwell scroll, nothing else, I'm very surprised with the chanter, it's my new favorite class in POE hahaha
