please no. the tv series sound interesting though, if properly made. episodes 1-3 were so horrible that i wish that lucas would never be allowed to direct or write a movie again. then again the tv show will be directed and written by lucas. so we'll see. but i say no for the movies.

It's a pretty combat intensive game. Once the world goes to war, it pretty much doesn't stop until one side is defeated. Though it's not 100% combat all the time. Not much fighting happens up north during the winter (because attackers get huge penalties). A huge bulk of the management is managing your industry, as well as research. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sounds cool. i may have to play as finland, just to see if we ever had any chace of world domination how is the learning curve? i'm struggling with CIV at the moment, and i might have to put it on hold if this is addictive enough.

is the game mainly combat? or is it like 50/50 in combat and management?

Then why play CRPGs? Your bestest CRPG game ever has piss poor character visuals. Even today with amazing 3D graphics, there's still rather restrictive limits on how character can look. Is it even really possible to have a character "be yours" in a CRPG anyways? IMO there's waaaaaay to finite avenues to explore in any CRPG, excepting maybe a game like Morrowind. In Fallout I have to be THE vault dweller, and in Fallout 2, I have to be the vault dweller's decendant. Baldur's Gate => Bhaalspawn. Morrowind's pretty open, in that you're just a prisoner being put on an island. Gothic series is a bit more open as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> why do you even bother with him?
