  1. Old news, we already knew last year that Brian is going to be the Lead Designer on PNJ. Remember that PNJ started development in March 2005 or so (remember the forums and the UE3 rumors?), now I'm just curious when it gets announced.
  2. He's a pimple faced programmer, what do you expect? Id Soft = Old school design at it's worst.
  3. Sure, I'll bring Neeshka with me so that I don't step in one of your greedy traps. When that is done done, Kelghar will "fix" the rest. And so ends the story of the greedy Wizard Sand. Justice is done, Morgoth got the money and Kelghar tastes some of the potions....oh no!
  4. Aye, no doubt Gothic 3 has it's qualities, but with a 1-2 sec loading lag it just doesn't make fun. Piranha is a small and very ambitious team, but they seriously overstepped their resources and skills. Kinda like Troika, much talent, but not properly used.
  5. Seriously, forget it. G3 is a hopeless case. Even not the fastest loading algorithm would make it faster. The Piranhas already admitted that they f**** up the production pipeline. Making that game running at adequate framerates would require probabyl 6 months or more time to rewrite large parts of the engine, and I don't think this is ever going to happen. I myself sold my copy already at Ebay for 30
  6. Yeah, HAHA..Ha. So funny. But you still owe me 10 billions!
  7. Of course Sand. Now would you sell me a Greed-Potion please? Thanks. *gulp* Hey-heh....Hey you! You monkey you! Get the blue armor and....45 and yikes!!!!! Oh damn, I just broke my TV! Now that will cost you something Sand! 10 billions in Cash! Aber Dalli!
  8. What's wrong? 5 things got fixed, 2829103054 remain. That's still progression, so you should show some gratitude at least... Tsk tsk.
  9. I totally trust you that you'd never show any greed. ) But other people do. You never know who sues you. Period.
  10. Sounds rational and agreeable, but in reality this hardly works. Usually it's more like that the manufactorer has to pay billions to the poor and deeply injured subject.
  11. Just say NO. Somebody can speak of a faulty product if that would happen to the majority of customers....Like a few million Wii owners throw their remote into the TV. Not happening. It's just a stupid accident from the users side. Period. You lose.
  12. They're admitting the fault because otherwise they'd just have to face another stupidly and outrageous lawsuit. But that's not an excuse for the users stupidity to just use the strap properly like anyone else does. Edit: LOL, now I read some posts above and I see somebody already filed a lawsuit against Nintendo.
  13. People throwing their Wii remote straight into the TV have no less knowledge than people putting their cats or little babies into microwaves.... I mean how should they know if there's no note in the manual at all? I say burn the manufacturer! It's all their fault!
  14. It seems like a new Gothic3 Patch (v1.12) was just released! http://download.piranha-bytes.com/gothic3/...c3_patch112.exe
  15. Having a story that keeps up it's tension but also talking about non-linearity at the same time kinda eliminates both qualities. NWN2 for example felt incredibly linear in Act2 and 3, since your journey was just dedicated to prepare your castle and find the King of Shadws. While that keeps the plot's tension straight, it totally killed the pace of the game.
  16. You're up for a good brawl or what? Ah, regarding the MSI 3.0: Explore the NWN2 disc, go into Prereq/WindowsInstaller-blalabla.exe and install it. Might as well need a restart. Maybe that's why NWN2 refused to install.
  17. Whatever. Kelghar beats all other dwarves.
  18. Aye, I concur! Even if Kelghar was always itchy for a good brawl, he goes beyond the "farting and grumbling" dwarf bias I always had. His fighting with Neshkaa was most amusing as well! :D
  19. Then you must be deaf, because if you pay attention, there're also new musical pieces and sounds as well. Overall, I like the new music more than Soul's old NWN pieces. It's just so overused. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To the game's defence, I only played about an hour, until I met the Dwarf. The only music I heard was from NWN1, same sounds. I was dissapointed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I couldn't care less if they re-use things like crickets, birds, wind and that stuff. Doesn't make a difference to me. New musical themes however are in, and show up more frequently when you enter Neverwinter.
  20. Well, just in case it might help: Install the MSI 3.0 from the NWN2 disc.

  22. The story was somewhat lame in NWN2. A thought the first chapter did a good job to build up some tension and some curiosity, but then when all the "King of the Shadow" drama starts, the game loses it's edge. Most of Act2 and the whole Act3 was just dedicated to prepare the castle and finding the villains, like I'm a stupid lackey of Nasher. Pfft. Nonetheless, the NPCs were indeed awesome. Quara was just such an arragant prick, you just had to love her. Kelghar wins the "first dwarf who I actually like" price, and Sand and Neshkaa were awesome as well. Didn't really traveled too long with the others though.
  23. And it's even more human than gas, injection or the chair.
  24. Eh? We don't have such laws. You can buy and play Uncut Versions everywhere here, as long as your age fits the USK. But yeah, change is always a great deal for countries that still have Nazi brainwashed old dinosaurs sitting in the parliament...
  25. Yeah I know about that incident. Still, that was pure overreaction. That angry guy who accused Crytek using warez must have worked for "Stoiber SMG Goons & Indusdries" I tell ya!
