I keep forgetting that you're playing EU1, not EU4. Whoops! Sorry!

You can take their capital...but you have to have taken all surrounding provinces first (including territories separated by land unit-crossable straits)...at least, that's how it worked in previous patches (I've been off the game for a little now). I absolutely hate that: I'd rather that you simply have to pay a higher warscore cost for capitals. Waiting for a particular mod to get updated for the latest patch before I start a new campaign.

A few posts back, friend: ...yours did have slightly more info in just the text, though.

I'm watching the Patriots-Panthers game. Good lord, I hate the Patriots announcers: absolutely terrible in the Packers-Patriots game, and absolutely terrible in this game. Worst local announcers I've heard out of the pre-season. Vikings had the best I've heard thus far.

Uh...that's not quite true. You can combine image pages like this: https://imgur.com/dQpy1CY,h99aFTj (note the comma in the link) You can also upload an album of images, which will all render on the same page, but I've never done it...but I know it can be done. Keep in mind that you can't delete the images unless you have an account (...or save the deletion links that only appear the very first time you upload). (edit): Hey, there's a neat little option right there for my own images: https://imgur.com/a/7Rkpa (edit): I forgot: yes, you can add new images to an already existing album. But Keyrock may be right in that you have you be signed in.

I just host images with puush and imgur. *shrug*

Scrubs just perpetually fell flat for me. Something about its sense of humor just didn't work. Plus, it always seemed more adult content-oriented than Seinfeld usually was, and Seinfeld was just about the most I could take/stomach in that regard. Most of Seinfeld's humor didn't come from that area, whereas it felt like Scrubs and Always Sunny were/are constantly trying to force it in...Always Sunny especially, which, as I've said in the past, is like Seinfeld on steroids and/or amphetamines. I actually like Always Sunny more than Scrubs, because it actually has a lot of parts I do find funny...but I have such a disdain for the parts that I don't that I find it difficult to watch.

I only will take free games if I really feel like I'll play them. Seems like everyone around here has the same mindset.- 487 replies

I have not watched Curb Your Enthusiasm yet, but I am a huge fan of Seinfeld, so maybe I should get on trying it someday. Someday...

More like "the wonderful judgement of young people who lack the context to understand most of the humor same sense of humor and/or taste in entertainment as you". Though I definitely do not like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia or Scrubs, I'm sure I dislike just about everything else Kaine or anyone else would use a "counter"-example.

So...what happened?

13/16. Not too bad, given I don't really know who Ron Burgundy is besides some sort of TV/movie character, and I've never heard any of these quotes by either of them and was just going what I felt was a little *too* ridiculous and/or off agenda for Trump...which failed me three times, but out of sixteen times, again, not bad.

The Great Game Giveaway: Tuesday Edition

You get a free copy of Portal 2 for pre-ordering the Steam Controller. You should also receive Rocket League at some point (if you haven't already: might already be applied to your Steam account if you didn't pre-own it before pre-ordering the Steam Controller).- 487 replies

Trump's insult game really was pretty weak there...other candidates really seem to be his forte, not normal (...relatively) people.

Funny...whereas people from Pixar movies are the ones that look weird and inhuman to me, and the designs of characters from Tangled and Frozen seem much more agreeable. That Disney Infinity shot of Anna is extra special weird, though, I'll agree with you that much.

I would think that'd be the reason you would click on it, Keyrock.

Sure. Given that you've reformatted at least once already, it almost certainly has to be a hardware problem, anyhow. You can try switching SATA ports, but you should also try a memtest with memtest86, as well. However, given what you said about needing to boot into safe mode first before being able to boot back into non-safe mode, it does sound like the problem(s) may lean towards other things, such as your hard drive. Switching SATA ports can't hurt.

That's an unusual faulting application, I think. The faulting module isn't of much use, either. Only thing I can really find that may help is if you open up a command prompt (if you don't know what that is, open up a run prompt via Windows Key + R, type in cmd and then run it), typing sfc /scannow, which should correct corrupt files relevant to that error...but I'm not really expecting that to work, and after that it seems like a wash. There's nothing else?

Look in Windows Logs, in both Application and System. Check the entries during the time you were not using the computer (i.e. when the system hanged), particularly for the error level events, and see if any of it illuminates you on what the problem might be.

The only reason I played that video is because (a little freaky-looking) Anna from Frozen was in the thumbnail image. They got me.

It is, actually...since the question is coming from you, someone who clearly doesn't have much interest in the civilized discourse that most of us take part of for our own enjoyment in our free time. There's more to communication (and whether or not it's worth bothering continuing with) than just the one factor: one only has to look at the other pariahs of our little community to determine that.
