I mean I kid you not the beast of winter dragon almost always makes me want to quit the game. I have such trouble with her. Maybe because I can't play any healer but priest and their resources disappear mid fight. Maybe I need a 2nd semi healer. I don't know. I just want to bloody destroy that beast. I feel like I suck a bit at this game because I'm unable to play a bunch of the OP stuff I see on these forums unless I get a detailed description of the build and spells to use. Tried Lifegiver Druid a couple of times and it just goes wrong everytime. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I usually have one Paladin single or multi as a tank, one fighter offtank single or multi, one ranged multiclass, one wizard or druid multiclass and a priest often multiclassed with a chanter. I am even trying single classes and i can't beat that damn dragon.

Is there a subclass that is viable for both Melee, Caster and Ranged? Like it could be good with both healers and tanks as well? Doesn't have to be perfect just viable. I'm curious I haven't found any except maybe devoted. Like I'd like a party who all share the same subclass. All Devoted or whatever is more viable and strong.

#1 Is there a fun slash functional build for 5 death godlike? Mainly to beat that damn dragon Neriscyrlas. #2 is 5 ciphers fun like a weapon heavy party with 5 ascendant subclasses? #3 what about 5 wizards? #4 is there any subclass that's fun to have 5 of to spam or nuke or use aoe? #5 What is the most fun subclass you like to use multiple times in the same party?

Hello. Looking for a high Crowd Control Area of Effect party build. I would very much prefer to have all of them as part cipher preferably the same subclass for role-playing services (they all communicate telepathically or a One Mind Five Bodies kind of thing). I'm planning to make them all Death Godlike hence why the name. I'm looking for a damage heavy obliterate anything that moves ASAP kind of thing. Or a CC them to death kind of thing. I will be playing them as evil and most likely kind of like the Bleak Walker mentality so cruel and aggressive so I'll be fighting a lot. But yeah as long as they share a same subclass i'd be pretty happy. Also I do not mind if they would all spam the same abilities over and over again or if all five of them use the same abilities on the contrary that sounds like fun. Cheerio!

Yes. That's why if you go for Kind Wayfarers, it's better to make the dual-wield. What kind of gear would be good or anything goes? Also what armor are we looking at here heavy medium light? Also which stats anything goes or do they all need high int or? For armor go for they heavy one. Of the highest importance is Blackened Plate armor, because of the -1 AR aura. And the rest Kaylon has already listed. Also you have to decide, do you want 5 exactly the same heralds, that do the exact same thing, or if you are ok with slight specializing. And speaking of specializing I mean: - you can have only one herald to use Lay on Hands. 5 x White Flames should provide more than enough healing, so this 1 paladin will use LoH for emergency cases. And because it has low range, you might want to give him Nomad's Brigandine for dissengagement immunity. - the amount of items with +healing done, is very limited, so you will have to designate one herald who uses ONLY Flames of Devotion and doesn't spend zeal on nothing else. Also this one will be the one with Exalted Endurance and Ancient Memory. And Blackened Plate (if you choose the healing upgrade) - speaking of weapons, I would recommend something along following lines: > Magran's Favor + Sun and Moon > Slayers'Claw + Kapana Taga > Matakau + Shattered Vengeance | can start the fight with Xefa's Empirical Explication + Kitchen Stove (you want that cone Daze from Thunderous Report) and switch after initial opening > Magistrate's Cudgel + Keeper of the Flame > Beza + Tarn's Respite | with Willbreaker in offset You can almost always keep battle axe modals on; and see for yourself when it makes sense to have offhand modals on as well. Is this party build viable for Megabosses?

I have to admit I had to re-read the last 2 sentences a couple of times, before i got it. What do you suggest how many front liners and how many back 3-2 or 2-3? Also are ranged weapons a good idea with these builds? Like pistols or arquebuses? Thanks so far everyone. By front I mean those with the best defenses who go first and take most of the aggro, but since everyone is melee nobody will stay in the back. You lose dps if you're using ranged weapons and you also want to be relatively close to your enemies to use Thrice Was She Wronged when available. FInally after months of topics you finally helped me find the exact build I wanted. I love you man! Thanks everyone for helping especially you Kaylon with the armor and shields!

Hello again, I am looking for a precise build that I can just copy paste to have 5 of. For example 5 Kind wayfarer/Soul blade or something like that. i'd greatly appreciate if you included different weapon sets you can use for this build, best race and the strongest abilities you spam. I'd like for them to just run in on auto pilot maybe one preset abilities the AI use and for them to just destroy things. Or just outsustain things. Kind of want a power rangers feel to them

Absolutely love your ideas. I had a similar party. 1. I'd advise to make this a mountain dwarf due to the con resistances 2. Coastal Aumaua, Steel Garote + Furyshaper great totems and a pretty beefy off-tank DPS. DW marauder Berserker/Streetfighter is also cool. 3. Nature Godlike Ancient Druid, Fury gives up any healing spells you can learn and Druid healing spells can be very strong. If you want to go full DPS, i'd pick Fury druid/ Blood Mage Wizard. 4. Priest of Wael is what I would pick maybe multiclass with a Troubadour chanter? 5. I'd pick Holy Slayer. Assassin Rogue/Bleakwalker Paladin. Bonus is that you get all 3 auras then, but you must wield an arquebus. If not this pick an Ascendant Cipher/Helwalker Monk Dual wield Blunderbusses.

I'd advise having a Chanter/Priest multiclass as support and a Druid/Wizard Multiclass maybe even a Furyshaper multiclass or single class because the totems are useful and can be off-tank I'd highly recommend Shieldbearer paladin with unbroken as a support/tank since it is a tank who doesn't really do any dmg yet engages a lot of enemies. For Dps i'd actually go for a ranged if not go for a Brute Fighter Barbarian DW.

I'd like to make a custom party having one of each race minus godlike And I kind of prefer to have 2 melee main tank + off tank and 3 ranged 1 caster, 1 Kiting ranged DPS and a ranged healer. I'd like for the builds to have synergy and something in common. Like no 2 paladin multiclasses or something. I hate Ranger and would not be using that. Otherwise it's fair game. Don't have real restrictions except for the 2 melee, 3 ranged thing.

Which subclasses would you pick for Mindstalker and Ravager (Monk+Barbarian)then? i think furyshaper makes for a great all-around barbarian subclass (even just the AL1 frenzy totem is super great for any party, and it stacks with other action speed bonuses). monk you could make a case for any (i think forbidden fist might be a bit too challenging for an un-metagamed ravager build). i think helwalker might be great if you could handle the glass cannon-y ness of having a frenzied barbarian (-deflection) taking 50% extra damage because carnage scales with PL but also with might and helwalker can get tons of might. mindstalker: you'll do well with anyone other than a psion (psion only makes sense with a caster). debonaire+beguiler is a particularly synergistic combo because the beguiler can use lots of charm effects and the debonaire gets hit->crit conversion on charmed targets (on top of having a charm themselves) so with the right metagaming you can make lots of friends, and when the charm is about to wear off hit them with a really hard cipher or rogue power (soul ignition, disintegrate, toxic strike). it's really metagaming/micromanagement heavy though. I've never been really good with the micromanaging part. I'm ok but not intensely hencewhy the simple tank i picked and kind of simple healer. This makes me really insecure about my other build ideas. Do you have any other Mindstalker combos? Not sure if i'd go for helwalker either I don't like the glass cannon i more wanted a off tanky might heavy build and I thought Monk + Barbarian would be exactly that.

I've played through this game 2 or 3 times the entire thing except maybe some DLC here and there and so far I like some builds and some not. I absolutely hate Ranger class I just find the pet or the ghost pet annoying. I prefer Shieldbearer/Unbroken tank. I love the Eothas/Troubadour Support/healer And I really like the Ancient/Wizard no subclass(maybe I should try Blood Mage?) for magic dps and aoe. Now there are 4 unused classes left Monk, Cipher, Barbarian and Rogue. I'd like to build 2 more multiclass builds with these 4 but I am a bit lost. I heard something about a Helwalker/Ascendant Dual wield mortar build? That would leave Rogue and Barbarian are there any good Marauder builds? I've been looking around on the forums but I haven't found more. Any replies would be helpful.
