  1. I am looking for 5 builds that match according to some rules I have for them. First a couple of rules. I want to have 5 multiclasses. I want to use all classes once except for ranger I do not want to use it. I want to have a Tank, a melee DPS off-tank, a ranged DPS (preferably something with an arquebuss), a magic DPS and a Healer/Buffer. Apart from that anything goes. Feel free to share builds if you feel like it.
  2. can't go wrong with a troubadour. i wouldn't even bother with weapons with a monk. just by fist scaling alone you will get post-superb fists and you can use litany for the spirit from your priest multiclass for an additional +1 PL from acute inspiration to get post-legendary fists. combo of fist base damage and speed is highest in game and will benefit from sneak attack and streetfighter damage bonus more than any other natural weapon in the game. the only reason why you'd use other weapons in this case is for crush immunity (rare) or high crush AR. edit: instead of litany for the spirit, you can just make this a nature godlike and the monk's swift strikes should trigger the +1 PL. what boeroer said. slash immunity IS a thing, and some enemies have super huge slash AR (and battle axe modal won't help you there), so pick up monastic unarmed training as some decent backup crush damage (everyone has proficiency with fists so devoted bonus also counts there). sure personally i find this redundant. lifegiver is such a good healer that the eothas seems redundant. are you trying to compensate for post-shapeshift poor healing? i wouldn't worry about that. my experience with life giver is that you only need to shapeshift in emergencies, and after shapeshifting is done you've done so much healing you don't need much more afterwards. i'd personally pick another priest subclass with more unique capabilities that can make up for the loss of PL and AL8-9 druid spells from not single-classing, e.g. wael can give you good survivability, magran adds diverse firepower (literally), woedica has a lot of useful debuffs for when you don't need to heal without using up your lifegiver spells. It is more that I haven't really tried an unarmed monk or anything but an eothas as a healer. I literally wouldn't know what spells to prioritise on the Lifegiver druid.I'm considering switching to swords or pickaxes for my devoted would this be a good idea or? Since it has two damaging types. fortunately for you, the lifegiver basically gets all the important spells you want for free that's kind of what makes lifegiver such a good druid subclass - the downside is really narrow (no summon spells) and you get all the heals that the class wants for free, so you're free to shape the lifegiver how you want, whether to shapeshift better or to cast debuffs or damage spells. eothas is a pretty redundant priest subclass because they don't really have much unique compared to other priests. it only really works if you for some reason specifically want sunbeam (AL1) or their special spiritual weapon (AL2) or their seal (AL8), or in multi-class situations where you want those free eothas priest spells anyway and it spares you a lot of ability points on your other multiclass. but with a lifegiver, you're essentially making your lifegiver worse at healing (no AL8-9 spells, missing out on up to +3 PL organically) just to pick up some additional heals and buffs for free that are.... (probably) worse than the lifegiver's healing capabilities. that's why i recommend those other priest subclasses - you can still pick up some priest buffs/debuffs/res spells, but the free spells interact better with a lifegiver. two-damage types are better. either what you suggest is going to be good though I would personally lean more towards war hammer due to their inherent higher PEN than swords (8 vs 6). with devoted inherent +2 PEN and the additional +2 PEN from weapon modal, and warhammer, you may never have PEN issues on even PotD+upscaling. (The main difference is that axes, on top of only having one damage type, their weapon modal doesn't grant any bonus PEN.) In PoE1 they were an extremely rare but extremely powerful form of Delemgan that could petrify at will (using Gaze of the Adragan in fact). They were so nearly fatal to my The Ultimate run (and were fatal to earlier attempts) that I can still remember where they are: level 10 of endless paths, level 15 during the master fight, and then a stupid few random ones in the outdoor areas of act 3. I think they only appeared on PotD as selective upgrades to Delemgans. When solo-ing if you didn't get them down ASAP, they could perpetually heal (moonwell and the druid heal in a close area around them) and petrify on a repeating, cycling timer, which meant that any encounter against them would almost assuredly turn fatal in the long run (due to them constantly keeping all other mobs at high health and repeatedly attempting to hit you with petrify). Should i max Con and Res on the tank with a bit of Int? Dex, Per and a bit of Might on the flanker? Might, Con and a bit of Per on the DPS? Int, Might and Per on the AOE? Might, Int and Res on the healer?

Which attributes should i prioritise for each of the 5 builds? let's say i do change the fifth build to lifegiver/Wael?

  5. Thank you what about the other 2 builds? Also then i'd have 4 melees kind of wanted 2 ranged. Hencewhy the hunter's bow on the Lifegiver/Eothas
  6. Please someone share your thoughts about these builds: Shieldbearer/Troubadour. Sword and Board: Tank. Streetfighter/Forbidden Fist. Rapier and Stiletto. Flanker. Devoted/Berserker. Dual wield Battle Axes. DPS. Psion/Wizard. Rod, AOE. Lifegiver/Eothas. Hunting Bow, Healer
  7. Goodmorrow to you my lovelies! I have been pondering about builds for a while and started about 5-10 topics to get ideas. I have finally come to a conclusion and would love to hear your thoughts about it. It is also partly for role playing as in that they're basically 5 bodies shared by one person so the same name etc. Kind of like a hive mind. They will all be human. And fill the roles of https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FiveManBand Mike One: The Leader Shieldbearer/Troubadour. Sword and Board: Tank. Mike Two: The Lancer Streetfighter/Forbidden Fist. Rapier and Stiletto. Flanker. Mike Three: The Big Guy Devoted/Berserker. Dual wield Battle Axes. DPS. Mike Four: The Smart Guy Psion/Wizard. Rod, AOE. Mike Five: The Chick Lifegiver/Eothas. Hunting Bow, Healer What do you all think about the weapons and class combinations? I'd highly prefer to not stack any classes nor have a ranger in there. Thanks in advance and have a lovely day! I'm getting desperate for a comment after hitting so many views :D feel free to shut it down if you disagree with the builds as well!
  8. Not entirely what I ment but damn am I going to try this! Which weapons etc. would you recommend for this build? To answer the previous question (I apologize for the miscommunication)... I'd try some fighter/rogue combo. I like the idea of 5 tactician/assassins that hit from invisibility with arterial strike and watch everything run back and forth while bleeding to death. To answer your current question would take several pages so I'll just generalize. The tank and off tank would be sword and board. Small shield for the monk with both twf and sword and board. Use the Large/Medium shield for the wizard. Focus deflection on the monk and armor on the wizard. The wizard could go either really. The debonair would be the highest damage 2-hander appropriate for the enemies of each battle to maximize the crits and healing. Max int and might. There are a couple that have good heal effects, both ranged and melee. The dps pure rogue take 2-weapon fighting with flail and or stiletto (particularly Rust's Poignard.) The assassin/cipher I'd take twf with blunderbuss and pistol. For the up close and personal stealth attack vs. single target I'd use dual sabres with the modal to maximize the damage. I'd take a bunch of low level charms and save the high level stuff for giving brilliant to the party or a big stealth attack (generally speaking.) You could go beguiler, soul blade, or acendant. Each would have benefits and drawbacks for the character and the team. This one will be squishy, but valuable. You'll have to protect it. In retrospect it might not be a bad idea to make the pure rogue the assassin or make it a second cipher to keep brilliant on the whole team. You could also multiclass it priest for casting withdraw on the assassin/cipher or healing/buffing it and the whole team. There's a lot of directions you could go with an all rogue multiclass party. This is just me kind of thinking... out loud?? Thinking in text... have you ever tested it? sounds like a lot of fun.
  9. As always very helpful i always look forward to your replies and solutions to my crazy ideas and am very grateful for them as well. How would this work stat wise and weapon wise though?
  10. Which stats might etc. would you give each and which races? I like this build.
  11. Interesting party. So, does your Waelite prefer to shop at Wael-Mart? I like you haha. You should try RPing a full custom party though it really filsl your fantasy (especially after a couple of playthroughs). Fun stuff mate!
  12. I would like to hear everybody's favorite role-playing custom party. My favorite was probably my first playthrough with customs. which included Luke a mountain dwarf drifter veteran of many wars. Unbroken/Shieldbearer. Una his right hand a Blood thirsty loner wood elf who is an expert hunter. Bleak Walker/Assassin (build from Fextralife) Kaden the bloodthirsty warrior island amaua out for revenge after his entire family got killed by some principi pirates. Devoted/Berserker Alde a former slave wild orlan who still believes in Eothas despite what he has done. Eothas/Troubadour Sullivan a nature godlike human hated and blamed for everything bad by his superstitious human village Evoker/Ascendant This was mine let me hear yours! Feel free to write as much as you want I will read everything.
  13. Na...I was recommending 1 bleakwalker. But won't recommend 5 of them. If all paladins have to be of the same order, then it's Kind Wayfarer only. As for whom to multi-with: v1: - wayfarer/trickster - wayfarer/monk - wayfarer/monk - wayfarer/nalpazka - wayfarer/skald (or another monk) v2: - wayfarer/trickster - wayfarer/tactician - wayfarer/tactician - wayfarer/tactician - wayfarer/beguiler This one: adjusted racialsObs kinda forgot to add scaling to Silver Tide and Battle Forged, so it fixes it. Why wayfarer? and why so many monks? can't i have 5 different multiclasses instead of most with tactician or monk? Or wouldn't that work?
  14. Haha sorry if I was being clear what would the 5 multiclasses be then since they'd all be bleak walkers? Also which mod would that be? (only been on these forums for a week).
  15. Hello again! I'm looking to build an all moon godlike party and would want for them to all be of one paladin order but I don't know which order or which multiclasses I should pick. Any thoughts?
  16. Alright i've been hearing a lot about this build and I'd like to know which race/subclasses armor etc. I mean it's heavy armor right or? And which stats should you max like Con or? Also which weapons are good? I'd like to know because i'd like to face the megabosses with 5 of these herald builds just for fun Thanks in advance!
  17. Not entirely what I ment but damn am I going to try this! Which weapons etc. would you recommend for this build?
  18. What is a fun melee build preferably multiclass to have 5 custom characters of and works to just cut through enemies? Which race etc. which skills are important which weapons/armor? This is just ment for a modded adding exp straight to level 20 playthrough. Might want to fight some megabosses and do some of the DLC like FS and SSS with it. I kind of want to RP like an elite bodyguard unit including the captain (MC). Edit: I might've not made things entirely clear but I ment an exact build you would just copy as 5 like for example 5 devoted/berserker class or something. Not just a subclass or class every member has in common but the entire exact multiclass. Thanks for all replies!
  19. Sorry if i'm starting too many topics it's just that i recently discovered this forum and I've been playing this game for a while, only thinking about ideas, and to find out what other people would think that know more about this game. What is your favorite race to play like if you'd start a custom party of 5 what race would you pick and what builds? I myself really love mountain dwarves just because of the look pretty much. Reminds me a bit of The Hobbit movies. I'd love to hear your detailed thoughts as well!
  20. I'm seeing a lot of solo builds wherever I look but is there any Duo build that works well POTD and everything including megabosses? Or just for fun.
  21. You sold me on this build 100% by explaining how it works together. Now i just hope i don't ruin their stats. But I will do my best. I would love to hear more builds from you. But I will try this one after my current play through definitely.
  22. Which builds would you add to that to make it a full 5 man party? Thanks for the reply eventhough it wasn't 100% what i was looking for it's still really cool.
  23. Like the title says I would love to hear your builds that would fit well together. 1 Tank 1 Melee DPS 1 Ranged 1 Magic 1 Healer Custom characters all. Thanks in advance!
  24. Has anyone of you made a 5 man party whom all had the same subclass to RP or just because a subclass is effective if so. Would you all mind sharing your builds? I want to RP a group of characters who are like alternate versions of the same character or just a true companions group from the beginning. Preferably ala the TVTrope Five Man Band. I thank you all in advance and have a pleasant day!
