  1. Is here anyone who might be interested in Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil Village? It is probably on Epic... I got it as a gift to my AMD GPU, but I am not interested in these typo of games. The code should be redeemable at AMD until the end of this month (march 2022 😛). Long time members of Obsidian community will get preferential treatment.
  2. Point taken, but still better option than Russia's influence... Another point is also, that USA had over the years losing it's influence over the EU and I considered this as a good thing. A lot of people preferred EU only defense instead of NATO, but because of this ****ing situation, even political parties in my country led by russofiles, which were organizing protests in january against the newest deal between Slovakia and NATO, are now praising our NATO membership... Putin might win over the Ukraine, but power of NATO has been boosted more than ever, especially in the East, and then look at Sweden and Finland, which were always maintaining absolute neutrality...
  3. @Darkpriest also if the intel about Shoygu is real... Well, now that he has a big target painted on his face, he could make some moves, even if it was the case, that he never planned anything in the first place...
  4. From what my family were telling me for the decades, the Soviet negotiations were always of the kind, where someone was holding his gun to your face, until you signed their initial proposal 😢 Putin's predecessors were used for decades to only demand under the threat of violence and fearmongering... And Putin as am KGB agents were conditioned in the same way of thinking...
  5. Well, if it is true, that Russia allocated 95% of their army to Ukraine conflict, there is a pretty high probability, that with more Russian casualties, there will start some insurgencies at smaller Russian States, you never know... Or it's just maybe my wishful thinking... For a start the real Chechens, not the Kadyrov bootlickers might probably start something which might sparkle something bigger... EDIT: Answering to @Elerond
  6. We'll see, but as a person who's grandad was killed by Russian puppet's government because he did not obey their ultimatums, I very much doubt, that the Russia will keep any of their promises. Their record of breaking anything is pretty big. It is also true for a lot of western deals, but yeah, I know how my family suffered under Russian occupation, and how are they living their life now. And I am saying that as a person, who was in my family considered as Soviet apologist, because I always considered Putin as the least evil of what can happen in Russia... And I was sooo wrong...
  7. Sorry, for some reason, I was under the impression, that you are one of the American guys around. At least my point stands. Putin has repeatedly stated in Russian State Television his desire to recreate Big Soviet Empire and it's influence. He is actively spending millions of dollars every year funding neonazi parties around Eastern Europe and spreading the disinformation. His war on NATO started before Annexation of Crimea, with trying to completely undermine the support of pro democratic countries, and his biggest achievemet is Orban, who acts as a his Trojan Horse in NATO and Europe...
  8. The no arms deal for Ukraine while Putler in charge would also mean he would eat Ukraine in 10 years without any resistance. So I do understand, that many Ukrainians would prefer to die, than to be under the reigns of Putler later...
  9. It is out in public now, and it is apparently the US intel 🤷‍♂️ And as someone mentioned here before Shoygu is the sole ethnic non-Russian in the "high command" which makes him more likely scapegoat as Lavrov...
  10. In addition to that, allegedly On March 11th the Russia will be starting their Great Firewall, limiting all of internet traffic outside of Russia. I've seen this on some more or less credible webs, but I have no clue how real is this...
  11. For Eastern European Countries it is net win. You people in the US somehow do not understand, that if we would not be in EU, we would be now again Russian puppet states, and Putin would be knocking on your doors instead of Ukraine. The only thing which holds Politicians like Orban, Fico and their prosoviet neonazi lackies on leash is the EU hand. Even as shaky as it is, it is still better hand than hand of Putin...
  12. A google translation of Slovak text published today by one of the anti-mafia, anti-nazi investigative journalist from Slovakia (Radovan Bránik), which speaks little bit more about current situation, and why some of the Russian Troops, especially in the north and east seem halted. And the causes behind it. Part two should be published soon. He speaks about Russia making one of the craziest mistakes in modern warfare. Military communication, which is being intercepted by radio amateurs...
  13. Anyone wondering like me, why there was still no significant attack on the 64km long convoy, which seems to be stuck? It looks like they do not need to do anything about it yet. This tries to shed some info onto the matter. (click on Read the full conversation). TLDR - convoy is stuck in Mud, out of fuel (whole 17 kms of cars) and running out of food (allegedly, they were sent on their way with only three days worth of rations). It is highly probable, that they have also no power in car batteries. The commanding officer, who tried to "solve the situation" at the front convoy was killed by a sniper.
  14. They did not break ceasefire right away, but they broke it. Probably after two or three hours.
  15. Check the Raithe's BBC link, it is really sad. It is hard to believe, but here in Slovakia, they are people who does not believe it as well. And they even do not understand, that in most heavily bombarded south cities live a lot of ethnic Russians, so Russians are killing Russians to achieve their goals... Nothing has changed in the east in last few centuries 🤷‍♂️
  16. The websites of Moskovsky Komsomolets, Forbes, Takie Dela, RBC, Peopletalk and many others, as well as the websites of Sberbank, VTB, Tinkoff, Pravo.ru are not working. Today, the websites of TASS, Kommersant, Fontanka and Izvestia, RBC, Buro 24/ 7, Chalk and E1 were hacked. source: Telegram post Ukrainian Defense Ministry: Russian soldiers surrendered to the Ukrainian army near the southeastern city of Zaporizhia Source: Al Jazeera
  17. Lot of Eastern NATO members have still a big piles of Russian stuff in their armies, so I presume this is being sent in a first wave. And a lot of Ukrainian have been trained in western tech, during last 8 years. I bet, that Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has sent some kind of list of stuff, which they deem most useful. At least that would be the most logical way of things to do.
  18. Denmark allows their volunteers to join Ukraine foreign brigade. And Hungary denies any weapon support for Ukraine. on the other hand Slovakia sends weapon support worth 4 millions EUR.
  19. Well, as you might have noticed, the first wave of Russian soldiers are consisting of inexperienced conscripts, and because of that, I kind of doubt, that even military leaders of these troops are the Russian tactical elites. These kind of mistakes seems logical, when taking this fact into consideration... 🤷‍♂️
  20. @Zoraptor According to Al-Jazeera, the Russian progress form the south is halted for the time being. We'll see | Translated by Google Translate of course
  21. Same tactics was used by Chechens during the first Chechen war against Russia and it was pretty seuccessful, and Groznyi is much smaller city than Kharkov. Considering historical experiences, It is at very least plausible.
  22. From what I understood, the Ukrainian forces let Russian Army into center withour restitance just to ambush and easily defeat them. We'll see how it really goes. Still feeling very uneasy about any news from Kharkiv, due to colleague living there
  23. And this is interesting as well. Cyberwarfare at it finest allegedly Russian domestic stations have been hacked and are airing what is really happening at Ukraine 😮 I'll be glad if anyone can find trustworthy news in medias, which can confirm or deny this information. I found so far only some tweets.
