They might, the thing is, as much as I do not like it, we were part of big Hungary, which were technically not ruled by Habsburgs, so I should still be safe from HRE revival campaign, in case that Lexx would engage in it On the other hand, I am happy, we do not have many active Italian members on the boards, then I would be really worried
-
Well if my history lessons were correct, Slovakia was never part of Holy Roman Empire. In that case, @Chilloutman should be worried more

Well, Kaliningrad is next to Poland and ****ing close to my own country. I was always opponent of NATO going east, I always preferred independent EU army, but now I am glad, we are members... The reason why some ex Eastern Bloc countries wanted to join NATO, was close proximity of Kaliningrad, and the shared experience with Soviet aggression... For Baltic states, as you can see now, it was a decision of life or death. They would be now obliterated in one day, if they stayed "neutral"...

Unfortunately I do not know how to know this, before redeeming my code It is code on AMD webpage, and there are no hints where to pick it up, and as these two games were at some point Epic exclusives (IIRC), it is possible they will hand out Epic keys after registration

The proximity of Russian territory to the possible delivery of Nuclear weapons to Ukraine is very weak argument, as Russia has nuclear weapons already in the "middle" of NATO... At Kaliningrad... Should we now start bombarding it as well and demand that Russia removes them and then in the peace deal require the territory be given back to Germany?
-
Well. The least what could Germany demand at the moment would be Kaliningrad/Koenigsberg IMHO you Germans should start a rally and demand that your government releases official note, that they would like it back

Also if you are lost in what information might be true or not about wins and defeats, here is the list of all confirmed technical losses on both sides. The real number is probably much higher, but from the numbers, the number of technic, which Ukraine captured from Russia is much higher, than what Russia was able to destroy... So in other words, Russia donated to Ukraine more weapons, than the whole NATO combined 8.3.22 10:00 Russia - 902, of which: destroyed: 358, damaged: 10, abandoned: 150, captured: 382 Ukraine - 272, of which: destroyed: 94, damaged: 4, abandoned: 44, captured: 127 https://www.oryxspioenkop.com/2022/02/attack-on-europe-documenting-equipment.html

In other news, Japan has decided, that if Russia wants "reunite" old USSR territories, they want back Kuril Islands, which they lost to USSR... In before Mongolia asks for 3/4 of Russia lol...

This information is according to the intel by our investigative journalist, which I've posted here two days ago. Russia do not have secure communication in place at Ukraine. His dead followed his interception, when he talked to command in Russia through cell phone, because their encrypted communication does not work at the moment, because it requires 3g/4g to work. And Russians destroyed almost all 3g/4g receivers while besieging Kharkiv... Another blatant show of incompetence of corrupted army officers... He was even talking about general Gerassimov in that report. The next part of the story was planned to go deeply about him... I am now even more curious about part 2...

Also allegedly evacuation route from Mariupol offered to civilians by was set by landmines... EDIT: Source of the article does not explicitly said, that the route offered on Sunday was actually offered by Russians. Still it was mined... https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-europe-60635927?Evacuation route out of Mariupol was mined, Red Cross says&2022-03-07T08:47:05.732Z&pinned_post_locator=urn:asset:db771701-6dc4-4ec6-80c5-bf4be97ab054&pinned_post_asset_id=6225c463980bea49f4b7b73c&pinned_post_type=share

LOL If this is true, then the Russian commander of army at Kherson will not have a very happy and long life... Looks like Russians landed 30 helicopters at the captured airfield, and overnight Ukrainian Army destroyed all of them... I am starting to be really sorry for the Russian soldiers, based on how much incompetence is there in the corrupted ranks of their commanders... https://t.me/a_shtirlitz/16331 Telegram link, I tried it to translate with my very bad russian, so if there is someone else better at Ukrainian or Russian language, please correct me...

Just do not tell that to Solaire -
Is here anyone who might be interested in Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil Village? It is probably on Epic... I got it as a gift to my AMD GPU, but I am not interested in these typo of games. The code should be redeemable at AMD until the end of this month (march 2022 ). Long time members of Obsidian community will get preferential treatment.

Point taken, but still better option than Russia's influence... Another point is also, that USA had over the years losing it's influence over the EU and I considered this as a good thing. A lot of people preferred EU only defense instead of NATO, but because of this ****ing situation, even political parties in my country led by russofiles, which were organizing protests in january against the newest deal between Slovakia and NATO, are now praising our NATO membership... Putin might win over the Ukraine, but power of NATO has been boosted more than ever, especially in the East, and then look at Sweden and Finland, which were always maintaining absolute neutrality...

@Darkpriest also if the intel about Shoygu is real... Well, now that he has a big target painted on his face, he could make some moves, even if it was the case, that he never planned anything in the first place...
-
From what my family were telling me for the decades, the Soviet negotiations were always of the kind, where someone was holding his gun to your face, until you signed their initial proposal Putin's predecessors were used for decades to only demand under the threat of violence and fearmongering... And Putin as am KGB agents were conditioned in the same way of thinking...

Well, if it is true, that Russia allocated 95% of their army to Ukraine conflict, there is a pretty high probability, that with more Russian casualties, there will start some insurgencies at smaller Russian States, you never know... Or it's just maybe my wishful thinking... For a start the real Chechens, not the Kadyrov bootlickers might probably start something which might sparkle something bigger... EDIT: Answering to @Elerond

We'll see, but as a person who's grandad was killed by Russian puppet's government because he did not obey their ultimatums, I very much doubt, that the Russia will keep any of their promises. Their record of breaking anything is pretty big. It is also true for a lot of western deals, but yeah, I know how my family suffered under Russian occupation, and how are they living their life now. And I am saying that as a person, who was in my family considered as Soviet apologist, because I always considered Putin as the least evil of what can happen in Russia... And I was sooo wrong...

Sorry, for some reason, I was under the impression, that you are one of the American guys around. At least my point stands. Putin has repeatedly stated in Russian State Television his desire to recreate Big Soviet Empire and it's influence. He is actively spending millions of dollars every year funding neonazi parties around Eastern Europe and spreading the disinformation. His war on NATO started before Annexation of Crimea, with trying to completely undermine the support of pro democratic countries, and his biggest achievemet is Orban, who acts as a his Trojan Horse in NATO and Europe...

The no arms deal for Ukraine while Putler in charge would also mean he would eat Ukraine in 10 years without any resistance. So I do understand, that many Ukrainians would prefer to die, than to be under the reigns of Putler later...

It is out in public now, and it is apparently the US intel And as someone mentioned here before Shoygu is the sole ethnic non-Russian in the "high command" which makes him more likely scapegoat as Lavrov...

In addition to that, allegedly On March 11th the Russia will be starting their Great Firewall, limiting all of internet traffic outside of Russia. I've seen this on some more or less credible webs, but I have no clue how real is this...
-
For Eastern European Countries it is net win. You people in the US somehow do not understand, that if we would not be in EU, we would be now again Russian puppet states, and Putin would be knocking on your doors instead of Ukraine. The only thing which holds Politicians like Orban, Fico and their prosoviet neonazi lackies on leash is the EU hand. Even as shaky as it is, it is still better hand than hand of Putin...

A google translation of Slovak text published today by one of the anti-mafia, anti-nazi investigative journalist from Slovakia (Radovan Bránik), which speaks little bit more about current situation, and why some of the Russian Troops, especially in the north and east seem halted. And the causes behind it. Part two should be published soon. He speaks about Russia making one of the craziest mistakes in modern warfare. Military communication, which is being intercepted by radio amateurs...

Anyone wondering like me, why there was still no significant attack on the 64km long convoy, which seems to be stuck? It looks like they do not need to do anything about it yet. This tries to shed some info onto the matter. (click on Read the full conversation). TLDR - convoy is stuck in Mud, out of fuel (whole 17 kms of cars) and running out of food (allegedly, they were sent on their way with only three days worth of rations). It is highly probable, that they have also no power in car batteries. The commanding officer, who tried to "solve the situation" at the front convoy was killed by a sniper.
