I found the Samsung SyncMaster T220 22" Widescreen Black Flat Panel LCD Monitor for $249.99 at Dell of all places. I never had a problem returning anything even without the box. If you remain calm and not take no for an answer you usual can at least exchange whatever you brought.
  3. I've been using Canon scanners at home at the $80-$150.00 range with no problems. I am using a Canon CanoScan 4400F Flatbed Scanner now. I do a lot of scanning at home for side jobs (graphic artist). At work we use higher price Epsons and Microtek scanners.
  4. I got DS: Legends of Aranna for $2.50 in the bargin bin. Reload DS and I am up to chapter 4. Hopefully I can finish this time.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have never brought a monitor. My works uses Apple monitor or ViewSonic and gives them away when they buy new. In the last 20 years I only had 4 monitors.
  7. I been looking to replace my 19" crt with a new LCD. Price range is about $200 to $275(US). Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm leaning to either a Samsung or LG for no particular reason. Thanks in advance.
  8. I got fitted for a compression sock for my right leg. It reminds me of Chinese foot binding. It doesn't feel good. Hopefully I'll only have to wear it for a few months.
  9. Saw this on FireFox help site. Guy had the same problem. Have you tried tools/options/privacy/cookies and click on exceptions ,add the sites you want to be kept logged into. after you have done that delete cookies as the ones you will already have will only be session cookies and go back to sites to pick up new cookies ,then goto tools/options/privacy/cookies and click show cookies and check the cookies of the sites you want to keep logged on by clicking on them to make sure they are not session cookies, this is what i do to keep my prefs +logins.
  10. What kind of error messages are getting in your Error Console located in Tools. I start there and see if anything points to a problem.
  11. Passwords cleared with Clear Private Data Firefox's Clear Private Data feature might be set to clear your passwords when you close Firefox. 1. At the top of the Firefox windowOn the menu bar, click on the ToolsFirefoxEdit menu, and select Options...Preferences.... 2. Select the Privacy panel. 3. If Always clear my private data when I close Firefox is not selected, your Firefox is not set to clear your passwords when you close it. You can skip to the next section. 4. If Always clear my private data when I close Firefox is selected, click on the Settings... button. 5. Make sure that Saved Passwords is not check marked. 6. Click OK. 7. Click OKClose the preferences window. Firefox is now configured to not clear your passwords when closing. Cannot use or save passwords after upgrading Firefox If you have passwords that contain non-ASCII characters, there is a bug in Firefox 3.0.2 preventing Firefox from remembering passwords. For more information see Cannot use or save passwords after upgrading Firefox. This might help.
  12. Whats weird is the second time I woke up I was having a stent insert in my leg for a blocked femoral artery and I got a back spasm about half way though the surgery. My back hurt worse than the operation after I woke up. Avoid any surgeries if you can.
  13. Was your diastolic so low that you were clinically dead? On one they brought a heart doctor in because my blood pressure when really low, but I also have a heart condition so it wasn't a big surprise either.
  14. I have had 6 operations this past year and woke in the middle of two of them. First one I could feel the surgeon cutting my leg open. When I ask my doctor about this after the operation he it happens more than people think.
  15. You might try this. I got this off the Firefox Help site. Firefox can sometimes crash when you try to download files because its download history has become corrupted. To fix this, you must manually delete the downloads.rdf file from your profile: From the menu at the top of the Firefox windowbar, select FileFirefox and then select the ExitQuit FirefoxQuit menu item. Open the Firefox profiles folder. For more information, see profile folder. If the Profiles folder contains multiple folders, open the folder for the active profile. In the profile folder, find the downloads.rdf file and delete it.
