Guidebook volume 1
Been wondering about this also. But I guess there will be more if/when sequels are produced. I sure hope so anyway. The guidebook was probably my favorite piece of "additional material" for the game, really enjoyed it.

White March, part 1 out on August 25th
Two damn days before Shadowrun Hong Kong... EDIT: Whoops, actually Hong Kong is out August 20th... my mistake. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-08-05-pillars-of-eternity-expansion-the-white-march-out-25th-august

Update #99: Announcing the Expansion and Update 2.0
I'm very glad that they're introducing damage immunities. I don't think it's a system that one should be overly reliant on but it *is* another tool in the toolbox for creating varying encounters.

What are you playing now?
Got bored of The Witcher 3 soon after I got to Skellige. My playthrough of GTAV also just kinda died. Was gonna try the new version of KOTOR2 but it seems rather buggy still (looks like the latest version actually deleted some of Kreia's dialogue files on accident, ouch) so I'm holding off. Not much else I'm super interested in right now. Shadowrun Hong Kong coming out soon, so that should be good. Want to replay PoE, Wasteland 2 and Divinity but figuring I'm gonna wait until they get their respective expansions/patches/updates. Picked up Way of the Samurai 4 but gonna have to wait until I get my hands on a controller to play that one. Also picked up the Talos Principle on the recent sale, might try that one out soon. Seems like it could be good.

Build Thread 2.0
Humanoid, I got a 290x card as well. The noise don't bother me too much but I decided to screw around a bit with it anyways. Added one extra case fan as well as reducing the voltage on the card (could actually reduce it quite a bit without it becoming unstable in games) and that brought down the temperatures quite a bit. Meant that I could relax the fan curve a bit and now the noise is much more managable. So yeah, screwing around with the voltage a bit might be worth a try for reducing temps a bit.

Update #99: Announcing the Expansion and Update 2.0
It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't just complete radio silence after. Josh has posted a few tidbits on other forums but after the "soon" announcement, there's been even less activity than usual it seems. I don't mind waiting personally, but using "soon" in PR, well... you kinda need to follow up on that.

How are you guys using food?
Mostly I keep around a few varios food items and eat them prior to the tougher encounters.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
How is the game? I really didn't expect a release date so soon, seems to me that it was (judging by reading impressions) in a pretty rough state just a few months ago. Any impressions from you melkathi?

What are you playing now?
Been playing some Armored Warfare, got a key off of Angry Joes website. Never really played a game like this before, and so far I kinda suck at it. But, the game is quite fun and it certainly feels a lot better than what one would expect from "a tank game from the RPG developer Obsidian". I'm not sure at all how F2P works out regarding money-making and such but I think this game will be played by a lot more players than people expected when it first got announced.

What are you playing now?
Kinda alternating between GTA V and Witcher 3. But both are kinda on the verge of getting old for me now. In Witcher 3, I'm getting ready to move on from Velen to Skellige though I have a ton of the simpler sidequests left to do. I dunno, as pretty as the world is, the open-world appeal isn't there for me. Especially with how they did the leveling system, loot and "hotspots" on the map. Just not feeling that part of the game at all. Kinda liking some of the story segments but some of the Novigrad stuff really overstayed its welcome. GTAV has a great open world for a GTA game though. Not only can it be immensely beautiful and feels "realistic" (within the GTA formula of course), it can be an experience at times just to walk down the street and see what's going on. It also makes me want to visit the beach and go swimming whenever I'm in the water in the game. The missions are a mixed bunch though, as with all GTA games.

R.I.P. Sir Christopher Lee
This is so sad. I mean, the man obviously did more in a lifetime than most people can ever dream of but... The world will be infinitely poorer without him. Listen to this, and shiver:

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2015]
Just started this up now that I have a new computer. My main negative impressions so far: 1: Argh, Geralt controls terribly 2: Why is it so windy all the time? Nature looks like it's having a seizure. And this is coming from someone who lives by the coast. Other than that, seems promising!

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Lengthy look at Armored Warfare, fresh out of Early Access. Guy playing it isn't very good but he is pretty chill and not very annoying, gives a pretty good look at the game. Now that I've got a new computer incoming, this might actually be something I'll try whenever it comes out.

Finished Technobabylon. Really, really nice adventure game. Highly recommended though Primordia still reigns as the best one in recent years.

Build Thread 2.0
Aaah, then I gotcha... Whelp. I could try and change the order if need be. How much money would I concievably save if I changed it something else? Like I said, not interested in overclocking. Should I change the processor or motherboard? Thanks.
-
Build Thread 2.0
The motherboard was a budget option and one that came recommended from a few people (and with good reviews from what I could find). But I admit I'm not at all familiar with motherboards, and what their strengths/weaknesses are. Only thing I know is that I don't plan on overclocking at all. I got advice on the PSU as well, the tests I've looked at don't really have the system (with that graphics card) running much past 430w or so. I have an acquaintance who's running it on a 520w supply and it works fine. Though I did think that was cutting it a bit close as well. I know the wear and tear is greater the closer to the limit you run a PSU but it was a chance I'm willing to take. My current system is running at 7 years now and there was the same concerns for that regarding a PSU that was similarily not too far over what was recommended for the GPU (I don't remember the exact values now) but I've never had a problem with it at all. So yeah, it's a gamble. I probably wouldn't have gotten the graphics card if I had more funds due to its power hungriness and loudness/running warm, but at about (transferring from the swedish crown price) 287 bucks it seemed like a pretty good deal for its power. And I really couldn't push my budget up any further as is. Also, I'm hoping I can stick my old harddrive into this new computer also as I need more space than the SSD brings. I hope that is a fairly easy operation, never done it before. Hope it'll be fine.
