Well the character in this game will have a past that will not be made up by us but will be uncovered by us. When playing Kotor I thought I was just some gifted guy that was needed for this particular mission, when I faced Malak and it went to the big cutscene I said to myself "I'm Revan?!?! And surely enough I was. One of the greatest surprises I have ever had in a video game. To answer the topic, building my own character or playing one with a past doesn't matter to me as long as the story is good.

I agree. But I think that these Sith Lords may have been Revan's undoing. It all goes back to my theory of them pulling the strings and Revan just being a pawn.

Prestige classes will not mess up my simple playthroughs, it will be Revan's ending that will.

LS Male, LS Female, DS Male, DS Female... so on and so forth.

You were sort of guarded, but one of your party members killed everyone and freed you.

Revan being the final villain is not plausible in my opinion. For every final fight there has to be some type of dialogue and that would be impossible for Revan unless they give him or her some type of generic voice. But I do feel Revan, LS, will sacrifice himself for our PC. As for DS, I don't know.

No info, no problem. Like someone said earlier in this post, silence is golden. Screenshots are good enough for me. If they can actually release this game in December without giving anymore info I would be in heaven.

I could care less about Sentinal being any good, I was going to play at least once or six times. Consular all the way baby.

I would have to disagree. Even though I loved Ep 2 and feel it's a great movie, I don't think it really measures up to any OT movie... but that's just my opinion.

Well, I think they are keeping true to the words of the great master Yoda that Jedi use to force for knowledge and defense, never attack. And I thought EP 1 and 2 were great movies, but I am bias and a Star Wars fiend.

I don't know which would be the most interesting to tell you the truth. I think playing LS PC and LS Revan would be the most interesting if anything.

Another Prestige Classes topic for the new guys. Anyways I will be Consular/Jedi Master to start off. I will be using all possible combinations though, but Consular/ Jedi Master the most.

I thought the box art looked beautiful. It looked like a lot of cutting and pasting, but still looks good to me.

I would have loved more movement in lightsaber battles. I was also thinking of knocking opponents to other levels like when Qui Gon knocked Darth Maul down a flight while they were fighting on Naboo. I also agree with a lot of the posts with moving things with the force, especially when seeing Anakin fighting Ventrass (sp?).
