I wish it was hot here. Been windy as hell lately and making me angry. I need swimming and i need it now. Also been sick for the first time since like a year ago.

Demo was pretty solid. Even though I already saw a video of the same gameplay it held my interest and was pretty smooth, not what I expected from codemasters to be honest. What I really liked was the video at the end, looked like some real fun stuff once you get past the begining.

I still think cell phones should be restricted during flights becuase I hate obnoxious people who talk on their cell phones.

Honestly though, high school gets the job done but there are just so many things that could be done to make a better learning experience for all. Floating standard is supposedly a big issue but what I have a problem with is standardized testing. I mean from what I've heard more and more time gets spent on teaching around the standardized tests making teachers change their curriculum. Plus I think the lack of meaningful reading in schools is a huge problem, in my experience people who generally read a lot of books aren't just more articulate but smarter. I don't know maybe hurlshot has something to say about it. I mean I have a ton of respect for teachers, amazing people who have a horrible job. Pay sucks, having to deal with a bunch of brats who don't even want to be there all day, it has got to suck.

Man you guys need to take a page out of Cant's book and learn to read between the lines (aka make gross assumptions). I'm obviously some kind of horrible fascist who wants to destroy public education and sabotage the nation. I also hate teachers with a passion because they are the reason that stupidity and to a smaller extent communism flourishes in the world. I'm also completely ignorant to any schooling issues becuase Lord knows I don't talk to several high school students in different regions of the country about how much and why school fails. Yeah I'd say it's pretty accurate to say I don't know a damn thing about anything because Cant has the ability to see into the depths of people's souls through the internet. It's quite amazing actually.

I honestly think that's a complete cop out. All classes deal with different issues, sure in lower income they deal with teen pregnancies, gangs, and drugs. But in middle and high class communities drugs, alcohol, and sex are still very much apparent. Hell a kid I used to be friends with a few years back just got arrested for selling/using black tar heroine. Course lower income kids get the shaft more but that should just encourage them to do even better in school. I mean if you can read and have a work ethic that doesn't completely suck there is absolutely no reason you should have a problem with school. Graduating high school has nothing to do with intelligence pretty much what so ever. I hated when people would be like "Wow, you're pretty smart!" I mean we all know I'm stupid but the difference between me getting an A and other people getting a C is because I listened in class and did my homework. Graduating high school just means that you deal with an extended amount of useless BS for 4 years.

I graduated just last year and they tell you far beforehand the consequences of cheering. It's common knowledge to the parents and students so I don't have any pity for the people who got there diplomas taken away, which is such a frivolous thing anyways. I mean it's just a piece of paper that doesn't mean anything. My school was pretty retarded though, once it was over you walked through this long subterranean corridor and they had your official diplomas just sitting on these tables in an empty hallway, and you are supposed to find yours in the midst of 300 retarded high school graduates. But I agree completely with Walshingham our school system is a complete joke, even higher education is pretty bad.

Woodworking is the best hobby ever. When I'm older I'll definitely have my own work shop because I loved woodshop in HS. It'd be kind of cool to carve like a totem pole or various animals but living in the desert doesn't give you many opportunities to do anything like that.

Well I'd like to be some kind of hard ass paladin type spreading the word of the lord while taking vengeance by busting in skulls of the godless heathens. But in reality I'd be a disgruntled cat man. But I don't mean cat man in the sense of being a feline humanoid but rather a deranged middle aged man who owns a lot of cats and travels in a broken down wagon spreading delicious candies and ice cream to all the childrens of the land. Wish we had awesome cat icon back.

I don't think it's a coincidence that 99% of movies derived from comic books are terrible. With that being said I haven't watched anything new to add.

Mario 64 was pretty much awesome graphic wise.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Saw this game a while back but gamespy had an interview today and it seems like it could be like a cool game depending on how things go in the future. Then again I'm almost star wars fan boi.

Yeah it's super windy here right now. All day it's been like crazy, chairs flying around, young children being thrown into the tops of trees, that sort of thing. The wind is a godless killing machine in my book. Just wish it would go away so I could go swimming.

I dl'd Oscuros overhaul of Oblivion so I'm playing that again even though I have been unable to even play more than 10 seconds without shutting it off before this. So far it doesn't seem any different from my first play through though so who knows. I'm just so bored and so desperate right now. :'(

I hope you'll tell us the game and the details once it is released or atleast near release or else I'll hate you. ):<

I watched Stranger than Fiction on my ipod while on an airplane flight. I thought it was a wonderfully crafty and brilliant concept and Will Ferrel, as much as he has been over used in comedy, I thought did an insanely excellent job in his role. I think who ever directed this movie did one of the best jobs scouting the right people for the right roles, hell I'll even let the Queen Latifa thing slide by because she had a pretty minor role in the movie and well she has to make up for all the past sins she has bestowed upon the earth. Overall I give this movie like a 9.5/10.

From what you have seen so far is this game you are working on going to be especially good and worth a buy? Is it going to be more traditional or innovative and original or what? More details on the game plz (don;t have to throw out its name or anything crazy but you know maybe some hints at the quality of the game.)

I didn't do much today except I went to like 5 different stores looking for golden sun: the lost age only to come home tired, hungry, a broken shell of a man, and a little sweaty....But I'm still in disbelief. I couldn't find the book I wanted or the game I wanted so my trip is going to suck so hardcore. my life is so miserable. :'(
