KotoR 3: Ideas, Suggestions, Discussion, Part 25
theslug replied to SteveThaiBinh's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Kotor 2 was buggy as hell and unfinished. It may not have been a financial bomb completely but it wasn't exactly a blockbuster either. And why would lucas arts care about mass effect? I don't know becuase it's a competing product? They are both sci fi rpg/action adventures that would be released on xbox 360 in the same time frame. -

Dude I don't know. When that kotor 3 rumor started with that like financial report the entirety of the internet was buzzing like crazy. I think there is still a huge base that is out there. But now I'd rather they just start the series over. It's been too long in my opinion and kotor 2 kind of bombed pretty bad. I think from Lucas Arts perspective they definitely want to keep the idea of a star wars rpg/action/adventure game but they want to make sure they don't want to compete with biowares mass effect. I believe they are also looking to see how profitable mass effect's trilogy will become. I'm pretty sure once mass effect 2 rolls out and they get the numbers and it's favorable, they will either begin work on kotor 3 or a new trilogy ip in the same genre. But then again I don't know what I'm talking about. -
I've seen a bunch of different colored suns and moons all the time. The fires in California and surrounding areas will sometimes make the sun really red or the moon orange/red. Crazy stuff.

I can. I do it all the time. Edit: Also watching The Ladies Man on comedy central. Easily one of my favorite movies of all time. Maybe number 2 or 3. Can I buy you a fish sammich?

Tekkon Kinkreet First off this movie looked absolutely insane and awesome. Sort of reminiscent of spirited away in my opinion which had such awesome detail and awesomeness. The animation was top notch and the character and story writing was pretty damned good. The only real problem I had with the movie was the ending and at one point towards the end they kind of ran with a certain "conflict" a little too long. It wasn't that the ending was bad or anything. It just felt empty and someone got killed that I didn't want to but that's something I feel when ever anyone dies in any movie really. Some questions were still left up in the air and almost all the major characters had endings that were semi-vague or weren't even included at all. I suppose there always a price to pay in anime and that's consistently having horrible to mediocre endings. However, the begining of the film was great and the middle was pretty good. Art: 10/10 Animation: 10/10 Story: 8/10 Characters: 9/10 Awesome factor: 9.25/10

Walshingham is a very intelligent, handsome, and wealthy man. I'd venture a guess to say his drive way is paved with gold and that many women have been taken by his charm straight into bed. Less he prefer a less traditional space, such as an inconspicuous van near the park underneath the stars for a truly memorable and romantic night. Just don't mind the leather gloves and overcoat.

http://gallery.ulfben.com/2008/06/The-Party/DSC02803.JPG This was one of those "When you see it, you'll **** bricks." http://gallery.ulfben.com/2008/06/The-Party/DSC02770.JPG And this one is like one of those awkward moments of "Hey I run a day care and appear suspiciously gay but I'm going to rape you regardless." Looked fun. Congrats.

We just got a new oven and microwave and the oven came with a cast iron grill grate. Not quite sure how it integrates into the oven but it's a neat attachment. I'd say a good kitchen always need a cast iron pan/grill and a few non stick skillets. Sadly we don't have any of those. Our kitchen is actually pretty big but we have so many gd knickknacks around there's no space to do anything. Also we only have one of those synthetic cutting boards. I should have made a wooden one like I planned back in woodworking class.

Must...hold...back....no amateur gay porn joke. :'(

I started taking down the wallpaper in my bathroom. Though I never liked wallpaper to begin with I'm swearing an oath to never own or associate myself with wallpaper unless it involves gasoline and fire.

The Andromeda Strain (2008). I was pretty interested in this miniseries when I first saw the trailer but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. I wasn't really digging some of the major casting choices and some of the acting was just down right bad. I'm going to take a guess and say that the main plot lines where similar but they changed dialog and what not and that didn't really pan out for me....A few times it got preachy, melodramatic, and just a little too silly. I mean we got worm holes, space time continuum, political intrigue, apocalyptic scenarios and other impossibly fantastic things. I will say some of the camera work was nice and the core premise was interesting and as a whole kept me interested throughout the show but it was marred mainly by horrible casting and dialog. There were other problems like character development and motivations but I mean this was a miniseries and you can't expect them to make you want to cry when one of them dies when they only have like 3 hours, especially when they have like 8 different people who take the limelight on a regular basis. I'm going to give this one a hearty 7.8/10.

It's 6 o clock and it's 97 degrees out. A few nights ago it was like 9 o clock and it was like 90 out. I hate the desert. ):< Edit: Somehow it's gone up 2 degrees in the last half an hour.

I haven't been camping in a long time. Me and my dad used to go to this place that had a small reservoir that stocked fish every so often and a camp ground kind of place about a quarter mile away. Each little place had a fire pit and a hand pump for water. Can't exactly say camping is my cup of tea but the hiking was pretty cool and the fresh caught fish after lugging like 500 pounds of fire wood up a gravel road probably tasted like the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. I was a kid at the time so I was stupid and could only appreciate it so much but I kept the fact that I would rather be at home watching Saturday morning cartoons to myself so that I wouldn't be a disappointment. All I know is the mornings there were brutally cold and there wasn't a snow flake around. I mean it was colder than places I went skiing that were higher altitude and had tons of snow. It's something that has confuzzled me to this day.

Today is my movie/tv day....again. On the list is The Andromeda Strain, then some documentaries including Elegant Universe, American drug war, and if I can find it bigger, stronger, faster. Should be a packed day fail.

yeah if this is your first time pitching a tent in the year you definitely need to see a doctor.

I just started watching soul eater was well. Interesting concepts and really wacky art and characters, sometimes a little too silly though.

The Witcher sucked. Don't waste your valuable time.

I thought the concept of angels and stuff was neat but the show wasn't that exciting or anything. I remember it being pretty nice to look at as well but it just didn't have anything that grabbed me. I started watching macross frontier. I'm not sure whether I like it or not. A behemouth woman with large breasts slapped an equally enormous gundam in the face then fly off into space. Something about that struck me as strange. Edit: Also isn't it supposed to be like an action show and not futuristic japanese american idol with aliens and gigantic ships that turn into gundams

Didn't exactly turn out how I wanted but I kind of like it. It feels a little empty but it has potential. Could use some brushing behind his head perhaps but that was something I was never good at to begin with. :'(

I liked it. The kids and the ending really ruined it though.
