I watch maybe 2-3 hours of TV a week. The rest of the time I am either at work or infront of the computer. Besides I could watch television from my computer if I really wanted to.

What is the difference between PCI Express and PCI though? Can a regular PCI board work on a PCI express and vice versa?

The thing is I want to be able to play a game when the mood strikes me, even if it is while I am writing a report for a class. If I had to do it on the console I would have to leave the computer room and trek to the lving rooom to do so. I like all my entertainment to be centralized in one location. You can't do that with a console, but you can with a PC.

First you need to post in the right forum. Also it is not always the Video Driver that is causing the problems. Do you have an updated Sound card driver? If not, you might also give that a try. You will also need the most up to date Direct X software which is at 9.0c. If you don't have it it is on the Disc 1 of KotOR 2. If you do have all the drivers play withthe config. Set it to the lowest levels and see how your performance is like. Tweak and increase the configuration to a point where you think it is good enough for you to enjoy. Once you reach that point it should work fine. If it hanfs up again. Make a temporary adjustment back down a step then back up. It should return to the correct performance level. I hope this helps. You also might want to check out the Technical Self Help forum. They have other tweaks you can do with your ATI card. ATI is probably the wrong card to play this game.

Yes, because I use my PC more than just games. You can't use a console more than just games. Last I checked MS Word or Photoshop isn't out on the PS2.

Dammit, I remember the good old days of text adventures. Leather Goddess of Phobos, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Zork, and all the Infocom's greats. Hell, I remember GEOS (Graphic Environmental Operating System) for the Commode 64. That and Jiffy-DOS. Back in my day... Um, I think I am going to shut up for now.

Bottomline, PC wins due to patching. That is if that patch ever comes out. Grr... Argh...

My favorite was Remembrance of the Daleks. The horrorified look on the Doctor's face when he saw a dalek going up stairs was downright great. Synaesthesia, I am over 3 decades old.

Obsidian has no control over the patch now. Its all LA's fault for delaying it this long. Return the game if you want. Moan and bitch about on the forums if you want. Nothing is going to change this.

Why don't you simply open up the Experience table 2da and change all the combat experience to 1.
